second I have a lg g3 d852 (canadian model with Bell), This one has been rooted and i installed cloudig3 on it I followed every instruction but since I installed it I have charging issues
every time i plug the phone it behave weird, slow charging and its acting as if i was pluging in then unpluging, plug in, unplug plug unplug plug unplug and so on....
it is really anoying
and since the root the very top section of the screen is not responding to touch
anyone can help with that??
#1- Do a backup and then use the KDZ tool.
#2- I don't believe this is a rom problem.. Have you tried on the stock one?

can somebody help me please???????:crying::crying::crying:
Go look up the instructions on how to get it into download mode and use the .tot file to restore it to stock.
You will lose absoutely everything on the phone though.
Hello,
I recently just got the unlocked LG G3, used to have an iphone so pretty new to the Android software itself. It froze while I was playing music so I did a hard reset and with that the firmware was updated to Lollipop. Calling, messaging, and music didn't work so I attempted to downgrade my LG G3 using Flashtool (Followed exact steps on here androidexplained/howtodowngradeLgG3, can't put URL because I'm a new user) and I used the Bell firmware (I'm sure the phone is originally from Bell because they had pre-installed apps). Everything went smoothly to the very end, however it got stuck on the screen where the LED light is flashing and the logo of LG continously shines (is this boot-loop?). I've tried using PC Suite to reset the software however it doesn't recognize my phone. Is there any suggestions you would recommend me?
Thank you for the help

Try to re-flash it again with the LG Flashtool and be sure to follow all steps correctly. It should work. Don't disconnect the phone until the process is finished. If the process freezes at 85% it's ok, it means the phone is rebooting and wait until you see a blue screen with a "3" on it. Then disconnect the phone and take out the phone's battery and put it in again. It should boot correctly. The first time to boot is always a bit longer. Just be patience.
Hello everybody at the LG G3 part of XDA,
A friend of mine has an LG G3 and his phone broke. So he asked me to fix it. I myself am an Oneplus One user.
So the problem is really simple to explain. The phone doesn't work when there isn't a charger plugged in. When there is a charger plugged in everything is fine and the phone works normally.
So my friend tried to downgrade from lollipop to kitkat ( I don't know what he exactly did ). He doesn't have much knowledge about phones so ofcourse it went wrong.
Here is a video of what happens.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP8MUPsANes
I already did a full reset with the LG flash tool and put the stock 4.4.2 Kitkat rom on it.
I have also checked the battery and it has a normal voltage of 3.8v. My friend also told me that he already swapped the battery in a store.
I do not know anything about a stock recovery of an LG G3, but I tried to acces it and I could get in to the hard reset screen but when opted Yes for everything it got stuck in that same "bootloop". When the phone is in the Hard reset menu then it wil stay ON without a charger. In all other cases it wil stay in a "bootloop"
I asked another friend of mine who has a lot of experience with phones. He said that it might have something to do with the a file that keeps the battery in check in the bootloader or the recovery, but he wasn't sure which one.
Update: When I am on the lockscreen and I disconnect the charger the phone stays on until I touch the screen than it shutsdown immediately
Try to flash lastest kdz of your g3 model

Replace your battery. This is what happened to my phone last september, I thought it was a software related issue, but when I tried to insert my friend's G3 battery, it just boot normally. I think this is a common problem of the phone/battery.
P.S. I tried running stock again, tried on CM, AOSP, etc. but can't make my phone to boot without being charged, until I replace my battery...
So today I wanted to update my LG G3 (D855) 16 Gb model to 6.0 with the flash tool, bcs my phone was very buggy with the lollipop update. I did everything like it was said on a tutorial and downloaded the .kdz file. After starting to flash it I got a problem, maybe a big one even. The flash tool can't connect to my phone anymore and the process is stuck on 19% on the update firmware screen. I haven't unplugged it yes and I am kinda scared to do it. What should I do? I have red that I should maybe change the USB port from 3.0 to 2.0 but I don't know if I should unplug my phone just like that or turn it of for now?
Please help me!
Hello
Yesterday I downgraded my phone from stock V30n to V30b, and then followed https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/root-twrp-marshmallow-d855-30b-t3286268 trying to root and install TWRP.
Rooting with kingroot went well, but AutorecMM looped endesly between "press button" and "flashing". Never rebooted or finished, just "press button" again.
I choose to reboot and from that point phone is totally dead. Doesn't boot in normal, download or recovery mode. Nothing ever on screen. No charge light. NOTHING detected in Windows 10 device manager. I know battery has some charge and also draws current from charger if connected.
My understanding after looking for G3 unbrick procedures is that bricked G3 should beep and be detected as something when conected to computer, even before the right driver is installed. Could someone confirm or deny this point?
Is there anything I can try before buying a new phone?
thanks!
Unbrink following a procedure like this, LG G3 is pretty much unbrickable.
