[Q] can't flash XTXperience 9

hi i was on XTXperience 8.1 rom foe xperia s i tried to flash XTXperience 9 with same steps but phone faild to boot until i flashed stock rom with flashtool , tried different times with no success any help plz

do a fresh install and follow my instructions, it will works

downgrading my ics help needed

hey guys i need some advice about downgrading my arc s to gingerbread stock.... i am running ics stock build number 4.1.b.0.587 .... my phone is unrooted bt bootloader is unlocked.... i read different downgrading guides which said download .ftf file and using flashtool flash it.... i tried many of them but while flashing i got error around 80% of flashing saying some file missing flashing aborted.... i tried three different firmwares bt got problems.... can any one help me with that that i need to root my phone or can just roll back to gb without rooting.... it would be greatly appreciated if someone posts a tested mirror for gb ...

Try to get an older version of flashtool v6.8 or something, Newer versions have some issues with flashing GB ftf

[Q] Returning Xperia Play R800i To Stock UK GB Rom

Hi
My xperia play is currently on jb 4.1.2 (paranoid android rom 2.57.1-wedges with the turbo kernel) and very nice it is too,
I however want to restore it to the original uk stock rom that allowed games to be played etc so i can sell it as i have bought an xperia t.
Do i just use flashtool (Using the guide in the general section) and install the original GB stock rom 4.0.2.A.0.42 or is there anything else i have to do / beware of / Will this also flash the kernel back to stock. I am assuming that the turbo kernel wont work with a stock GB rom.

Worked fine, the only issue i had was the phone wanted to update, but it kept giving me a message in pc companion that it could not update as it had been modified, I unrooted it and tried again same error, so tried a full flash again with the .42ftf, same error again. Finally reflashed with the .62. ftf, its not trying to update anymore. I think there is a problem with the root as it says its not rooted anymore but flashtool says it still is
Now to work on my new xperia t.

hello all
i would really appreciate the help
with the help of this forum i rooted my xperia m c1904 unlocked its boot loader
flashed the stock rom back ie 4.1 ROM and after that i wished to install cynogenmod on my device so using adb i follwed the steps and put in the recovery but after that my phone was stuck on recovery and it wont boot ahead
also to add i tried flashing the stock 4.1 rom but it wont boot

in my case my device didn't booting after flashing firmware aswell.. tried flashing through twrp/cwm but al stuck at flashing.. and if i flashed firmware then it bootlopoing during xperia animation page .... i think my device dead.. my boot-loader unlocked. help us guyz

which version of flashtool do I need for arc?

trying to flash a rom on the latest flashtool just gives me a flashing error and using flashtool .98 it just freezes when processing the loader im on .69 so I need to flash .42 or .62 too root my device apparently as no rooting method seems to work on .69? i tried doomlords and flashtool but they all fail.
