i get my new lg g3 d855 yesterday all thing is good
it come to me with lollipop
but when i take some photos my camera stop and say
unfortunately,camera has stopped
i try clear cache and data but not solved then i factory reset but not solved
finally i do hard reset my camera work for some houres but the problem back again
what can i do
Might be a hardware defect
I suggest unrooting and taking it to a service center to have it looked at
flash the phone with LG Flash tool, download the software in LG phone firmware site!
and then open the camera app and see if works, if dont you have to go to one LG repair center!

i try that but i can't know wich one is for 16 giga or 32

my camera or torch wont work tried every thing Reseting factory settings and removing rom and reinstalling and tried new roms like mild wild 3.2 and 4.2 and revolution's rom everything format memory card removed DCIM folder no thing happens bought a new memory card and re installed the stock 2.2 rom from htc RUU and nothing
I have passed my warranty and i just want to know what to do??? or a way to know that the camera is not faulty because iam sure its ok just to know ehere the problem is
what happened is it just stopped working and the phone is good the led lights are ok and headphone jack is running only the camera has this problem

Well, looks like it went bad hardware. You can try taking the device apart, and check connections for broken or looseness, , or take it to a shop for repair and they can do this.
It doesn't look like a software issue if you went stock and the issue was still there.

It Happened to me once before and just worked after flashing another rom so i thought it could be the same problem and tried another roms but no result
Iam not that good in taking things apart (never could get things one piece together again )
if you know a tool to check for hardware just to be sure where the problem is and repair shops here in my country are not any better than my skills
Hi, i have a problem with my new lg g3 d855 the problem is that when i try to record a video its starts to lag and then it reboots without a warning or anything i have android 4.4.2 and also I did a factory reset and still the same and also i tried putting a camera mod after the factory reset and its work fine but it had the same problem. Y dont know what else to do if anyone can help me i will be very greatfull. Sorry for my english

Try Updating your G3 to Lollipop. if it persist then it may be a hardware issue.

All was perfect, until one day, my camera sometimes didn't launch and make reboot my phone.
So I decided to update my phone to MM. ( so I unrooted the phone and update it with lg bridge )
But the probelm is still here under MM !
There is 3 sort of possibilities when I launch the camera :
- the camera work
- the camera app crash
- the phone reboot
After a reboot of the phone, the camera always work. But after sometimes it crash again and I need to reboot.
What do you think of that ?

I am having exactly the same problem.
I had not rooted my phone, it started happening after the MM upgrade.
Another upgrade came out recently and it seems to happen far less so I am convinced it is software related.
Did you have any luck with finding a solution.

I didn't have another upgrade, I'm on v20d.
The problem is still here and now it happens really often.
I'm sending it now for reparation, but I hope they will fix it and not just hard reset the phone....

If it's new, then it is good to claim warranty. Otherwise, try flashing the firmware of your device using LG Flash Tools 2014.
My LG G5 known to happen on it to fit applications to work his way back up the phone and went to the factory and the factory reset everything and yet many times it happens that you get out of aplikacija..ima when his factory firmware LS992 Sprint model but to try that boasts fabricki I broke it when I was doing factory reset is not reading me his unlock it when you call * # 06 # and nothing does not appear to me so please if anyone knows how to solve the problem I'd be grateful for life :angel
