Hi guys.
i am planing to buy new phone but i cant decide between Meizu MX4 pro and Asus zenfone 2.
I love Asus product and they have great support but reviews i have watched people are complaining about Display is very dimmed and it is very bad for outdoor using!
How correct is it?I mean how bad is it for outdoor use??Also they have mentioned Speaker volume is low?is true???
if you can share your experience with your device and advise me to choose between Asus Zenfone 2 or Meizu MX4 pro???
i ll really appreciate that. Thanks a billion in advance
Hmm Many users here said the opposite lol I actually drop brightness below min with an app. External speaker is underaverage. Its possible to boost it though.
Pretty sure that Asus Zenfone will receive better support from both parties, oem and xda.
Hi I've got the zf2 and I love this Fone yes the display is dim but wen out I always put it on full brightness and can see screen fine sound is loud 2 me a call like loud speaker wen I have a text or a call is quite loud 2

I just ordered my Honor 5X. I had a great time with the Asus Zenfone 2 but I just recently got a problem...it seems like my mic has gone out and gives a static noise in calls, I have to put it in speaker for the other caller to hear me. I did love the ROMS!! The display is awesome! Camera is okay, battery is okay. I never liked the UI so that's why I went to custom roms once I got the phone. I want to thank all the developers for creating awesome ROMs for this device!
Dear Oneplus 3 users,
Is it a worth switch from Xperia Z5 to OnePlus 3? Some of my friends said it's not worth the switch.. but i was still curious because some reviewers said it's a really really good phone.. i need advices from you guys OnePlus 3 users.. it would really help me for thinking about the switch.. thanks guys (sorry for bad english)
Believe me ....
Dash charge enough to switch

In my opinion, Comparing to Z5, One Plus 3 is far better. but if you have budget i prefer you S7 Edge, It's the best phone with alot of features, Or you can buy an Iphone 6s
so i should make the switch then? is it annoying when you guys dont have sd card support?

64 Gb is more than enough to install loads of apps and shoot pictures and video's. I still have 34 Gb free.
I have used the OPO (OnePlus One) before my Oneplus 3 and I never had major problems regarding not having an sd-card slot.
I have never used the Xperia Z5 myself, but i can say that the OnePlus 3 with the Snapdragon 820 is a beast. It runs fantastically smooth and the dash charge is really fast.
The only thing i wished the Oneplus 3 had, is a higher resolution display. It is not a bad display -far from it-, but using VR with this phone is not pretty.
hi i switch from z2 to op3 and my brother have z5 but i like op3 and i think i better than Z5 in fingerprint..screen...front camera..storage..and of course developer support and the big thing is dash charge

64 GB is enough to for me but i can't tell about your needs. Anyway OTG option is always available :victory:

I switched from Z3 and I love my OP3
+Easy to root, unlock Bootloader, etc..
+Wide community, on Xperia it was mainly SLiM for me, here you got the choice, I am on Revolution Remix, very nice!
+No SDCARD >> I dont feel any pain here, actually with my Z3 I had a sdcard and almost never put it off.. Do you? got enough room so far with the 64Gb
+Dash Charge is Wow, and anyway batterry not bad. I use Greenify and be around 50% at end of day
-The only struggle I met sometimes, but I am not sure it is confirmed or my paranoia, it' s the wifi connection, it seems a bit behaving slow or weird sometimes, but I still hope someone comes with a solution about that.
Cheers
I've had my Le Pro 3 for over a week now and just published my full detailed video review which covers pretty much everything from the design, cameras, dual loudspeakers, benchmarks, GPS and wifi range and speeds.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfTIx-DWcmo
I also ran a speed test and comparison against my Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus just to see how they compared as both have Snapdragon 821's and 4GB of RAM.
Overall it's a very decent mobile however, it still has the flaws from the Le Max 2, large black bezels, no MicroSD or 3.5mm port are deal breakers for some. Audio from the type-c to 3.5mm adaptor is very clean and sounds great. No static and loud too.
The camera is a bit of a let down, no OIS still and while it can take some decent photos in good light, low light and video is not the greatest for a flagship mobile. The Chinese need to really step up their game on the camera department. I wouldn't by this mobile for the best camera, I would buy it for good performance and great battery life. I was able to get around 11 hours of SoC (continuous)

Thx with this first review
Thank you And great job !
I was planning to ditch my Axon 7 for this phone, but not really that sure anymore. Seems like a lateral transfer, not really an upgrade in any way (except for battery life I suppose?).
wow..12hr screen on time. That is impressive.

I want to buy the phone because it has great specs (does it feel as good as it sounds?) but I want to know if google services work flawlessly e.g. contact syncing, play store. Since you have this phone what is your general opinion about it, does it work buying it?

I also have this phone. No problem with Google services or Play store. Contactar syncing was perfect, with Google account and others account.
Two days with It and i like It a lot.
In my experience 6:30 of screen with 4G and almost without wifi.
Sorry for my english.
Thanks for the review. Maybe the Pro3 is not the best phone ever made. But it seems to be very very good, will most likely not explode and - taking into account the price - there is simply no competition. Hopefully, my phone will be delivered soon ...
I've received it today...very beautiful and work really good. We need an international ROM however.
I have this problem...it doesn't let me change or delete default APN. A problem I read is already present in other EUI smartphone someone has solved this Problem?

Thanks for that great review. Just some questions. Believe there are some like me who do not have access to LeEco products but are still keen on buying from an online reseller but have some concerns.
1. Are there any noticeable hardware issues? - understand that there are some complaints recently even on the le 2 that the display was not installed properly. Wondering if there are other types of defects that could render the device unusable for the obsessive compulsive people out there
2. What sort of rom is your unit using? - Importers/international sellers are known to meddle with the device to cater to the demands of their target demographic especially to those outside of china, hence, they can install fake roms (custom miui roms that don't receive updates for example) or install play store (after a restore to factory option, the gapps disappear)
3. The rom US units use seem to differ to the non-us units and the model numbers also differ. Would this be an issue if say the international rom is released and its not compatible with a unit bought from an importer? - had an issue before with a mi5 where the rom was an unofficial one and had to go through the hassle of unlocking the bootloader and installing the global rom instead
4.Any idea of software support in the long run and how prompt are LeEco's updates; ie Android N?
Thanks in advance and patience!
I know that US version x727 should be only 4/64 4gb ram and 64 GB ROM. It should have different LTE bands...in order to be used on us market.
Probably the us ROM couldn't be used on Chinese units.

Thanks for a great review. I am ordering this when it becomes available in the US. Can't beat the price for what is in it.

I have been using pro3 (x720) for three weeks. The screen display picture occasionally shake for about 0.2 second. This is the most disturbing issue. You can find the same complain in the Chinese leEco forum. Beside, mobile signal is not as strong as the nexus 5 I used for almost 3 years. If you can ignore these two issue, it's a great phone to have.

Do you think its software related? Whats the rom they're using? Is it like the Mi phones where there is a vendor altered rom installed and does leeco release global stable roms like miui? Sorry, bear with me here ! thanks!

We all running stock rom with/without root. I hope it's rom related issue. As of now ,no official rom zip is available from LeEco.
Hi,
Just bought the 6/64 nonUS Version to use in Europe. Bought it after watching your review, thanks for that!....
Will directly root the phone in order to remove the chinese App's but wating for some plain Android rom's (stock Android). Had CM9 or so on a galaxy before and i wasnt that suprised as i supposed to be, but will also give it a try if it comes available to the Le Pro 3....
I'm sure with the actual specs and this awesome price the community behind the Pro3 will grow fast. Also i would donate 10€ to support the devs.
Sure to be here more often in future.
Thx&Rgds,
Maxcyber
I just got my Chinese version (6GB/64GB Dual Sim) - The phone is lightning fast. Screen looks great - camera is okay (I just snap pics anyways not really a photo person). The screen is decent if not a bit washed out. Indoors is just fine - outdoors I have to crank it to about 85% to see it. The fingerprint reader seems lightning fast if not 100% accurate. ( I get about 4 out 5 times). It let me add multiple fingerprints to unlock left or right handed. Overall the build is pretty solid. I put in my att sim and did not have to do anything else. Picked up all my settings. My antutu scores are 162397 - just shy of iphone 7 scores. Apparently the install is not google certified. I cannot run Pokemon Go or Android Pay (and snapchat I am told I don't use it). Pokemon Go is the soul breaker for me...
The GPS seems to lock lightning quick. I have not had any issues with Google apps although some updating had to happen (google services, play app, mail app etc...).
The battery seems amazing. I am getting great times out of it I don't have exact numbers but so far so good at least as good as my s7 edge.
I was able to put the google now launcher on it so no issue with the leeco skin.
Hopefully with the US launch tomorrow it will have a google certified image so I can run Pokemon go if not I am not sure I will keep it.
Pokemon go functions on official ROM ...see my screenshots.
I can't Android pay isn't active in Italy.I can't prove it...sorry.

Hi all, I do not really care about 4G.
This might be my next phone so I'd like what is intersting to know when you use the phone.
I already know about the not so good camera, the noise when recording and the youtube sound bug. Have the owners on reddit something else to prevent me about?
I am also considering Huawei Nova (not plus) and Redmi Note 4x. If someone have tested many of those 3 devices and can give me advice.
Thanks in advance

Hi, the sound sync bug is barely noticeable on my unit, the delay is minimal, I have the UK version with S056 stock rom out of the box. The 4/64 version of Redmi Note 4X is still not available and the Nova is only 5" with significantly smaller battery and also only 3gb ram. I have the 4/32 version of P2a42 and I can't be more happy with the device. The build quality is superb, the display is gorgeous, the rom is 99% stock Android 6.0.1, the cpu is super snappy, only the high end games like NFS No Limits, Modern Combat 5 and GTA are not running smooth on full details. And here comes the battery, the battery life is amazing. Right now I'm on 54%, this is my 3rd day on a single charge and I already have 6h25m screen on time with 2h of heavy online gaming with games like NFS No limits, 5v5 moba games like Mobile Legends, Heroes Evolved and so on. The math shows that I'll end up with more than 12h SOT and using the phone without charging for a full 4 days, if no gaming and only 2-3 usage 14-15h SOT are not a problem for this phone.
I highly recommend it and currently for me Lenovo P2 is the best balanced phone between performance, battery, build quality and reliability under $300.

i dont know as of now, but i will reply to this after 14 days
i am going to Install TWRP , on road to unlocking Bootloader :silly:
Hi guys,
So I'm a proud owner of a Mi Mix 2 128 GB now after I was a little disappointed by the LG G6 coming from a Redmi 4 Prime before.
I haven't used the phone much for now but alone from aesthetics I think it's hard to beat the beauty the Mix 2 delivers. Probably Mix 2s can but that's over my budget.
Currently I'm waiting the last 2 hours of 72 for the bootloader unlock looking to flash xiaomi.eu MIUI 10 Rom. Is that a good choice?
Mainly I'm looking for the features above mentioned:
Touble Tap 2 Lock [ as double tap 2 wake is already implemented I thought maybe there's an option for that too?]
Hold back 2 kill [ I had that option at my Redmi 4 and I really don't want to miss it! I'm using the new gesture actions instead of buttons though so I'm not sure if those two can work together? ]
Furthermore - as I've bought the phone second hand - I'd like to know if it's normal that the phone speaker (I mean the one on the very top which you use to make phone calls, don't know how that is called) also delivers sound when listening to music or anything else on the regular speaker at the bottom/downside. There is coming some quiet noise out of the phone speaker at my unit. Just wondering if it's defective or normal. Phone looks very good, no scratches or anything so I think the previous owner handled it quite with care.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards
frosty
I'm thinking about buying this phone too.
As much as i could say it's a feature and totally normal, that you hear sound out of the upper speaker. It's imitating a stereo sound as thought by xiaomi.
Yes I own a MI Mix 2 and this is normal, you can check this out in the official specs.
