My D855 came with KK stock. I've never ever flashed stock LP at all. I've found that my experience with LP roms to be lacking usually. Could it be because I have not flashed stock LP before flashing a custom LP rom?
Also, what would I have to take note of when flashing LP stock? Would a CWM of my KK rom be enough to restore to KK if I want to? Or would I require flashing back to KK stock in the future?

Hey guys. I'm looking to upgrade to "LG'S stock lollipop firmware but I don't want to lose my bootloader so I looked around here on xda and there is no modified stock roms that won't upgrade my bootloader for my Bell D852.
My question is how can I modify my stock lollipop image to not update my bootloader?
I've always run stock roms without updating the bootloader by using a custom rom based off as close to stock as possible but I can't find one for the G3 based off stock lollipop., Anyone know where I can find this???
Thanks.
Hello
I have an D855 with TWRP, Cloudy 2.5 & Gabriel kernel install on my phone and the kitkat bootloader for not necessary have TWRP bumped.
I would like to know what is the last KitKat ROMs (AOSP/based stock/AOKP) and if its possible, know what is the last modem that i can install on KK ROM..
Why i want to downgrade android version ? I have test all needed fonctionality that i want and i think LP is pretty bad (its my opinion..), and i have a secondary question: about the battery life on KK, its really better (with any ROM) on LP or its depend of the kernel & ROM (KK or LP) ?
Thanks.
Hi all,
I just purchased the F240 version of this phone and looking through the forum, it seems there is a problem in all the available custom ROMs. So I will like to know which is the most stable custom ROM for this phone? N.B. I am NOT asking which ROM is the best.
Is the stock Lollipop/kitkat ROM stable?
Bountyman's Lollipop Rom, but i wouldn't prefer Lollipop custom Roms. Use the Stock F240 Lollipop Rom.
i'm not really like any of the MM roms so i want to go back to the good old stable and reliable cloudy 2.5
can i simply TWRP flash it directly after a standard wipe?
What is your phone model? If your phone is D855, you can use the followin tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
Is anybody running a custom kernal on stock tw marshmallow? Browsed lightly but wasnt seeing anything.
There isn't a kernel that's compatible with TW Marshmallow just yet.
