If you can get into recovery you can wipe/factory reset and that should get you past boot loop. your other option is to flash stock via Odin.

You can enter download mode and reflash stock image with Odin. If you were running the stock rom you may not lose your data. Let me know if you don't know how to do this and I will direct you. It seems that something has become corrupted, but Odin will fix that

After flashing Odin you should have access to the 3e recovery. Unless something is wrong with your hardware (Volume broken?), I can not see why you would not be able to enter recovery.
You can also try this tool to boot a custom kernel with recovery attached. Here is a forum with a similar problem. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011636&highlight=i9300

You can download an Odin flashable recovery from here. http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/d2att. you will want the .tar file.
Beyond this i'm running out of ideas. Not too sure if this will work if you have gone stock with Odin as it may have taken root from you. Worth a try though.
Maybe an emergency recovery through Kies... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1984717
Beyond that try Odin again and re download the stock Rom from a different source. You may have gotten a bad download. I have read of it happening. Maybe even an older firmware or Canadian one (i'm assuming you're ATT): http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SGH-I747

well. I tried to flash the 4.4.2 modem bin twice. First time went through. Second time I got a fail. (I had to reboot in between, odin wouldn't do anything if I didn't).
Now I can't start my phone. I get the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. PLease Select Recovery mode in Kies and try again".
So I'm assuming I have to flash the M919AVUAMDL from the odin thread?? I never went to knox (still on 4.2)
EDIT:
Just tried to "fix the softbrick" but I keep getting fail in Odin. I have no idea what to do anymore. SMH.

^^^^^^ Anyone can help me out with this???
PS: Kies doesn't even recognize my device, Kies 3.0 and 2.6
EDIT:
I tried flashing SGH-M919-UVUAMDB.tar and M919UVUAMDL.tar and I'm getting a "FAIL" on both. I'm downloading the official 4.4.2 firmware from the Samsung website (which is taking forever) and going to try flash that in Odin. I will be getting a Knox counter (which I didn't have before) but at this point, I just need a working phone.
Update:
Waited 2 hours to download the firmware from the Samsung site and it failed at the last minute. I give up. SMH

If you get download mode, try getting a recovery installed, like a phillz touch or cwm. look for one that will compliment your os that you have installed and then try getting into recovery.
You might even do as someone else pointed out, return to complete stock, and take it from there.....
I got my phone back up.
I had to flash the 4.4.2 firmware in Odin. No other firmware wouldn't work. Every ttime I downloaded from SamsungMobile website the download failed the last minute.
So now I got a Knox boot loader but oh well, I just needed my phone back up.
Noob here. Been trying to figure this out for a while. I have a Galaxy s3 model number: i747m. Was using the phone watching youtube and all of a sudden it turns off and back on with the "Device memory Damaged" screen. I was willing to lose everything and hit the "reset device" button but every time i press it, nothing happens! I try to go into recovery menu to see if i can wipe data that way but every time I try to go into Recovery, I am met up with the Android laying down with a red triangle and an exclamation point above it. Is it possible to fix this?? I can only get into the download mode. If it helps I believe I was on the latest 4.4 KitKat update and was unlocked and using T-mobile network.

Here it is. I tried about 3 different files and I get the same thing on all.
It's failing because the program is trying to downgrade or alter the bootloader which is causing the error to appear after trying to write aboot.mbn. Do not attempt anymore flashes using Odin as a failed bootloader download could result in a hard brick.
Try installing a custom recovery such as Philz using Odin, boot into recovery, try wiping everything on the phone and install a custom ROM.
You can try flashing latest Philz from here: https://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/d2lte/

Flash it again but don't check auto reboot. Once you see reset in the status window, disconnect USB cable, pull battery, replace battery, boot into recovery.

Yes it said reset and it went through but still won't go to recovery just the same android exclamation image. Where can I download the TWRP? Do I need a specific one?
So I just got my s6 today, and naturally, immediately tried to root and install TWRP, all was fine, until I updated.
Long story short, I installed the wrong TWRP, and now I'm in a bootloop, nothing will install through ODIN, and there's red text above the s6 logo saying "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING Custom Binary blocked by FAP Lock"
I have no idea whatsoever what to do, what do I do?
What do you mean by nothing will install through odin though? Can you get into download mode?

I had the same problem, but had insurance and received a new device yesterday. I got it up and running with a file djvoleur sent me. It fixed it but when I rebooted I received the red letters on the upper right hand side telling me that the device was locked. Samsung has put a program inside that causes that when u try to put a "competitors" Kernel by mistake. Since the Kernel is not a Sprint kernel (it was my mistake) it locks up.
Try this, but don't boot and if it works, make sure that you contact djvoleur and thank him.

I would then try to see what your next steps would be.
I was also stuck in a bootloop after flashing the wrong recovery. Try flashing TWRP 2.8.7.1 zerofltespr.img.tar
I'd link to it but XDA won't let me for some reason, a Google search should find it. Make sure it's zerofltespr and not zeroflte
The 5.1.1 tar is available now. Install that and you should be good to go.

Same issue here. So if I download the Sprint 5.1.1 firmware and install it through Odin, this would fix the issue?
Thanks!

That's weird, it did that to me at first too but after a few reboots it just went away for me...sorry, wish I could help more
While flashing a stock rom on odin and it got interrupted, the error showed after rebooting. I have tried with kies but it only keeps on disconnecting when plugged in. It no longer allows me to enter into download mode.
I know that there are threads here regarding this issue, but there is no solution that worked for me.
Please help me I have tried every solution that I have found based on different samsung devices. Nothing works for me.
SM-T210
What device is it? On older devices like my TAB3 the error screen that you get that tells you to use kies to fix is download mode and Odin should recognize it. I've tried a few things that have left me in this situation.

Thank you for replying. The model device name is SM-T210. Yes, Odin can still recognize it but no luck on kies. Did you fix yours?
Yes, i have a 210R. I've done this many times. What I always do use odin to flash @gr8nole's TWRP recovery. Then in TWRP either restore a backup or download my custom ROM and install it in TWRP. (I did my ROM off of 210 firmware so it would be compatible with both the 210 and the 210R)

Yep that's the one. Honestly, it should work either way...since no OS is installed if you try to boot it should automatically reboot to TWRP.

Sorry. I have no knowledge about Adb. But I'm willing to learn.
First let's go ahead and retry your stock firmware with Odin. If it is successful, you can reflash TWRP and then try my ROM or just run stock. If that doesn't work, then we'll try adb. After your odin flash, even if it fails, if the splash screen comes back, you can flash TWRP and then enter recovery.
