Stop T-Mobile update service notification? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Hello all,
Have my s6 edge and keep needing to postpone the update. Waiting (little nervous) to root and load Alliance ROM. Any way to stop these annoying notifications?
Before I attempt to root, I turn on USB de-bugging in developers option?
Since I am on 5.0.2, Baseband G925TUVU1AOC9 there is no OEM unlocking option.

[Q] LG Software Update

Hi,
I just got my LG yesterday, and I rooted it via PurpleDrake.
Today, everyone once in a while, a pop-up comes up about LG's Software Update, asking me to update.
So, my question is this, will updating cause issues because of rooting?
Also, if so, how can I get rid of this stupid pop up asking me to update? [I did turn off OTAs, so I'm assuming this is not one?]
Thanks.
I doubt it is. For an OTA update as rooting your device will stop that happening, most likely an app update or something to do with lg agreements.

A software update can still attempt to install if you have not disabled OTA updates from your carrier somehow. Since you are rooted you should freeze the System updates process so it will not attempt to install the update and potentially remove root, or break something during the OTA install. This is not disabled automatically by just rooting, although some methods during root may also disable updates. I am not familiar enough with PurpleDrake to say if it does this or not. I do know that with IORoot you will still need to manually freeze the system update process.

[Q] How to stop KNOX?

Well first, I am new here, so hi!
Second, I have spent hours researching this and if I can get this to work it seems like the best way to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-T217s.
Now... On my unrooted, regular, tablet, how can I stop KNOX? When I use Kingo ROOT to try and root it, the tablet has a notification that says it blocked an unsecure app from using some areas. (or something like that). If I go to that, I have to tap update policies and then it says it is updated and brings up the application in settings. From here I cannot do anything with the app, other than force stop, which doesn't work.
So... I need to know, how can I stop KNOX from keeping me from rooting with Kingo ROOT?
If this is not possible, are there any other easy ways to root? I don't really get all this flashy ROM things.
EDIT:
I have spent hours without any solution to this I meant.
Also, sorry if this is wrong area... But since KNOX is an app thought it went here

[VK810] Need help modifying tablet and other questions

I have the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE model (VK810) running on 4.4.2 and I managed to root it with the bruteforce method from stump root. I have SuperSu loaded on the tablet. I tried doing some research about the tablet on my own and ended up with more questions than answers from when I started, so now I'm asking for help. I'm still a little new to everything, so forgive me if I ask anything too obvious.
Are there any ROMS available for my device? I think the answer is no, but I want to make sure of it. I wanted to start clean by removing all of the junk apps and programs preloaded on there.
The LG OTA update keeps asking me to update my tablet. I'm worried the update will disable the root. If the update does take it away, is there anyway I can disable the constant reminder or should I take the update?
Should I bother trying to load TWRP on it? From what I have seen, people have had complications with it since 4.4.2 is not supported on my device.
If I can't start clean, what apps let me delete any apps that I want to? This question is generic, but I'm still confused as to what the best method is.
This question isn't as important as the others, but how do I put new apps in alphabetical order? It's not automatically doing it.
I appreciate any help that I receive. Thank you.

It will not disable root. See the RECENT thread in the "General" section titled "VK810 OTA update from 22B to 23A keeps root". You don't have to read the thread; the title says it all.

Kingroot disabling Knox?

Hello everyone, I picked up this phone about 2 days ago from Boost Mobile. I have the SPH-L710T, running 4.4.2. So I had downloaded Kingroot to see if it would root my phone, as I don't have a computer that's readily accessible. So it didn't work at first, but yesterday I went back to the app and it asked me if I want to disable Knox to improve the chances of it finding a root strategy. Unsure & afraid that selecting it would brick my phone, I just left it alone.
I'm curious, has that happened to anyone else? If so, then could you tell me what happened? Thanks everyone, I appreciate it in advance.
Knox is a set of security things for when these are company phone. Knox will mess with root stuff, and nothing happens to your phone when it's disabled. Don't worry about disabling it. I'm on stock (rooted) oh1 with it disabled and nothing has happened due to knox being disabled. Hope this answers your question.

Stop the daily OTA upgrade to v6.01 message

Hey guys, I have downgraded my phone to Lollipop v5.11. I actually DO NOT want to upgrade to Marshmallow v6.01. Is there a way to stop the annoying daily message for the OTA upgrade from Verizon? I have not yet rooted the phone, but looking to do it as soon as I have time. But I want to get rid of this daily annoyance. Thanks!
You'll need to enable USB debugging and run a debloater to remove the apps that trigger the update. Use something like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon/general/debloater-remove-bloatware-t3008241
Just figure out the one or two apps in charge of updates and remove them.
ok I have used the bloatware remover and removed some of the bloat from the stock v5.11 firmware. BUT does anyone know what .apk would trigger the annoying OTA update? I would love to stop this!
not sure it this is completely relevant, but on my gf's t-mobile note 4 on marshmallow already, I deleted a file in system/ priv-apps called "fota" something (firmware over the air) and it hasn't gotten the update message since

There are two usually. I think one is called SDM. If you long press the OTA notification you should see which app is triggering it.
