Well crap, I bought mine 11 days ago for $640, received it on the 23rd, and the price dropped on the 28th. So since the price drop happened after I received the product I'm not eligible for NewEgg's price protection. I did talk to a CS guy over livechat though and he "made an exception" and gave me a $40 gift card, so that's nice, but I still basically lost $100 for buying the phone five days too early...

Yes, it's the unlocked international version.

It wasn't branded like Vodafone or any other brand?

Just a warning... don't order from anyone on Amazon US. They are branded phones (Vodafone Germany for me) and they seemed to be lightly used.
I returned it to Amazon and ordered from Negri yesterday. Glad to hear they are unbranded.

Unfortunately I ordered from Amazon, and received a Vodafone HOX. I returned the phone and got it from Negri.

Been real happy so far with mine from Negri. HT24D build, no issues at all, it's perfect.

Mine is coming in on Monday, I can't wait!

Buying Nexus 7 (2013) in India

So..who all are looking to buy this in India? I'm thinking of getting one using Google Play Store and HopShopGo this or the next week, 32GB version should cost about ~350$ by my calculations (270$ + 16.5% Customs + 25$ HopShopGo shipping).
Just as a note, I am not looking into selling or buying for others, just asking for people who are looking to do same as me

I did the same and ship via comgateway and Amazon to Thailand, waiting for delivery at the moment. Should come up around us$320

Hey people, I ordered a nexus 7 16gb wifi only, on 2nd august, and it'd be arriving either tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
There's this seller called TabIndia on eBay.
I got it for 17500/- ($288) which is the cheapest you can get. The seller is trusted, and really nice to talk to. For getting a discount of 1500 (instead of buying it at 19000 through PaisaPay by eBay), you need to deposit the money in his account and he'd send you the tablet.
Of course, it sounds like a Scam, but I did it, and the seller is trustable. He owns a nice shop and you could just check out his eBay Reviews.
you could mail him @ [email protected] if you wish to buy with certain discount.
He was selling 32gb at 20,500 AFAIK.
I'm really worried about screenguard since I don't have any. I ordered XtremeGuard but that'd take like 20 days more to arrive.
Any suggestions for the same? I have a neoprene sleeve which'd work for nexus 7 2 though.

Check the contract terms where you buy it. Maybe it got international warranty or just limited.

Its before tax. I bought a 32 GB model from BestBuy. Price came to around $290 ($269 + taxes). I think Amazon doesn't charge any taxes.
I am waiting for it appear in Play Store India so that I can order one for my parents. But considering people are shipping from US, I am thinking of doing the same. Anybody has experience in how I can ship to India after buying from here?

Well if you are in the US, just buy one and send via your trusted parcel service, e. G. DHL, should be not a problem, not sure about Indian import tax tough, I had to pay 7 percent over here.

Ask tax form from seller. When item leave the country, immigration must pay you back to your account.

what about buying from Amazon? They are offering international shipping to India. 32GB model cost $269+$52.63(Import fees)=$321.63.will anyother cost be incurred?

Phones are easy to get shipped without much customs in India...got 2 nexus 4 phones from the play store and shipped by ppo box
But Tablets can cost you lot of customs in India...beware
I got my nexus 7 2013 from the US...A cousin's friend was coming, got delivered through him
I also have an Asus tf300 that I got from US similarly last year, had a touch screen panel issue 8 months later...But got it easily repaired by Asus in hyderabad for free under global warranty....
But beware of nexus products from play store...You may not get warranty in India......getting it repaired with Asus in cities in India will be easy but may not be free

Hi my brother is planning to get me a nexus 7 2013 model he is coming to India on nov 15 i asked him to get me a unlocked(cellular) 32gig version i asked my brother about the warranty but he is not familiar wit the warranty policy and nothing is mentioned like international warranty in the best buy but when i checked in asus site it saying that nexus 7 comes with international warranty as earlier you got nexus from US do you have any idea about the warranty please help me.He is planning to buy it through BEST BUY there it mentioned as 1 year warranty nothing else

UK Buyers - have you looked at Tesco?

I've been looking around for a new LG G3 for a while (unlocked - I have my own SIM). I didn't want to get one off Ebay so I was looking for a UK retailer. Carphone Warehouse had them for £479. I then found that Tesco's are doing them for £420 with free next day delivery.
Mine arrived today and seems fine. Official sealed box and everything.
So, just in case you are looking, this may help.

Where to Buy 802L

I have been searching, and cannot find anywhere to buy this specific model.
I want the 802L specifically, since it has the LTE bands that T-Mobile uses.
Does anyone know where I can buy one online?

There's one for sale on Amazon right now. I bought mine from the ebay user: factory-unlocked Maybe you could contact them about getting one? When I bought mine (July) they were selling them from both China and the USA. Now they don't list them for sale but maybe they could get you one.

Thanks - unfortunately the one on Amazon right now is listed under the 802L, but is actually an 803L if you go to the seller's listing.
I had contacted a number of eBay sellers, and could not find any that could supply the 802L model.
I just thought I would update this in case anyone else came along.
I ended up using buyee.jp to order one directly from Amazon Japan.
I will update this when it arrives.

So, I received the tablet and have been using it for a little while on T-Mobile.
It took about a week for the Buyee process to work. The total added price, over the Amazon.co.jp price, was about $35.
Everything is working well, great tablet, love the build quality.
Didn't like the launcher, so I switched it with Nova straight off.
Hoping Marshmallow comes soon.
The tablet DOES work as a phone on the T-Mobile network, and gets LTE.
I have personally seen up to 40Mb/s down on it.
As a phone... The speaker is near your ear, but it faces outward. Don't try to make any private calls in public places with it, as bystanders can hear your conversations.
Hope this helps someone else like me.

I just noticed the 6Gb black edition is now available on Amazon from one seller "Appario Retail Private Ltd"
They seem to be the only seller with the black colour, anyone know if they are legit? googling their name returns some pretty bad feedback.
I am really hanging out to get the black version which no-one in India has sold so far.

I bought mine from them yesterday (the black variant) . It will get delivered by tomorrow. Rest assured if anything goes bad Amazon always replaces or refunds the entire amount . So go ahead and buy it.
