How to have swipe to unlock and pattern.

I am using Richards 0.5 froyo build and I was wondering if it was possible to get the swipe to unlock/sound screen with the pattern to unlock set? So you wake it, swipe and then you put in the pattern. If you use a passcode you can do it that way.
Anyone know if that's possible? Hopefully you know what I am talking about!

Removing slide down unlock screen on Evo? Possible?

Evo owners, does the initial slide down to unlock screen bug you too? I don't like having a pattern lock and this annoying slide to unlock screen. Is there a way of removing it?
Before I get a genius response of, "just remove your pattern lock," I need it. I work with children. Don't want them going through all my information.
So I ask, is it possible? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Try the app "No Lock" in the App Market.

No lock takes out the pattern lock

No Lock does remove the slide lock, but it also disables the pattern lock. Thanks tho. I'm sure someone knows how...

If you're not rooted then you can try Widget locker, lets you customize your lock screen to your liking.
If you're rooted then must Rom comes with themes that included custom lock screens...

[Q] Emergency!!!!

Sarted from last night, I don't even need to unlock my phone and then just go straight into the main page. I was using the swipe unlock, and then I changed into pattern. When I hit the unlock button, there was a flash coming on the screen and then is the same thing.

Reboot? Try another security thing to see if it worka, then change back? Never heard of something like this.. for tenporary security use an app to lock individual apps.

startup login screen?

I was wondering if u guys knew about a mod that would enable a lockscreen every time the phone boots up, something just like in a normal computer system os like windows, something where i can put a real password, not a simple pin and preferably something you can't get past

Drop down menu on lock screen with patern lock?

Hi guys,
Is it possible to get access to the drop down notification bar while locked with patern? Is their any method ? I'm using this music app 'playtube' and it would be nice to get quick access to the remote without losing my lock method thx

Hi, I also wanted to have this functionality so I did some research and testing.
I found out that Smart App Lock (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sp.protector.free) allows you to do this when you select the "Home Screen Lock" option.
BTW, you can select any type of lock method (pattern, password, etc.) and it even allows you to define different locks for the home screen and apps.
