Ok,
tanks for all.
Would be nice if XDA premium will have file attachment option rather than goin to my laptop if I want to attach some files. Or maybe I just missed it on mine. Thanks!!!

That's okay mate - I just wanted to make sure you posted in the best place to get attention for your problem
What do you think about the new XDA welcome video guys?
Here is the link for the NEW video.
Here is the link for the OLD video.
I added a poll to gather the opinions of other members.

Old one was better in my opinion.
They showed a link in the upper left corner of a page to a "guide for new users", yet I can't seem to find any pages or links like that. Never mind, I found it by logging out, going to the forum homepage. Not my guide.
I also like the old one better, but this one is made to welcome new users instead of scaring them away.

You guys are quick.
The welcome video is for guests that have never been to XDA before...we wanted to show them how to use the site before using it. We'll also continue to link to the original "you are a Noob" video. :highfive:

I think it is a good idea sir. To give new or aspiring members the sense of welcome ness to join XDA and contribute what they are capable of.

Just a little idea, make the video private so that only those with the link can see it, then put the link in the 'You are a noob on XDA-Developers' video. That way, they have to watch that video before seeing this one
And yeah, preferred the old one obviously.
@ emphraim
dude new one is good but old one was quiet better
Hi all,
Does anyone have any idea where the nv_data.bin file (or equivalent) resides on the Tmo SGS3? On most other Samsung devices, including the International SGS3, it is in the /efs partition. However, this file is curiously absent on the Tmo variant.
Thanks!
as far as im aware, the location is still unknown
Check in peoplearmy's and geek's threads about imei. Your answer may be known by one of them, I just dont remember for sure or id tell you here.

I'm the idiot? You're the one that had to create a post asking a question that could have been easily searched.
Did you even click the link? It takes you to a google search where the first result would have gave you a list of steps to unlock your S3.
