Now that Samsung Pay is out there beta testing. Anyway we can get a hold of the APK?
It's already in the latest leak I believe
That's just a base layer for the framework. It will be here soon enough though
Will be released around August with Note 5 and S6edge plus intro.

Last statement was for a September release. Do you have a source or are you just assuming Samsung Pay will be released with Note 5?
S6 Edge
I've found the link to be able to download the Samsung Pay Beta .apk file but I haven't figured out how to get it to install. Does someone else want to try? I'm stuck on a Samsung S6 Edge running 5.0.2. I wonder if you have to have 5.1.1 to run it.
Korea Link - https://kr.mpay.samsung.com/apk
US Link - https://us.mpay.samsung.com/apk
I'm going to try and get into the beta
The link looks dead. Can you post the apk?
Strike that. I got the KR to download but it doesn't do anything.
Here's a download link for the Samsung Pay .apk file I found on the Korean link. It lets me install it on my Samsung S6 Edge+ running android 5.1.1.
https://mega.nz/#!cRFkUAhT!8h7kOQ8opFy3YWal7xgw68EByv6dOsgepURGy9C005E
Some people have reported being able to get to the start screen and some graphics. I can't even get it to open.
Do a full unroot in superuser and this is wet you get.
Knox not ticked but custom bootloader installed.
So now the question becomes...can someone develop a workaround to Samsung Pay that will allow it to work with a rooted/tripped knox device. I am sure there is someone on this forum that has that ability.

We might need to find another app that has been modified and ask the dev there if they would be willing to work on this one. Who did the google wallet work arounds back in the day?
It'd probably be good to start a bounty too.

How do you start a bounty? As you can see I am new to the forum. Not sure about the GW app. But I like the idea!
I was able to install the apk using the Korean link and got to the main screen. I guess your Samsung account has to be activated by Samsung in order to go past it (see screenshot....maybe they will remove this restriction after the actual go-live in Sep). I noticed that Samsung Pay is not showing under 'Tap and Pay'. Not sure if it's just me or everyone here?
I signed up for the beta while the US link was up but I never got a response back from Samsung. I have attached a screenshot of the beta confirmation page. I removed the email address due to Samsung's 'strict' policies that I had to agree to before getting to the final page. Since I have not heard back from them I am now a little concerned if they are going to put any restriction on my Samsung account because I was not 'invited' for the beta but found the link and signed up for it.
I have been following Samsung Pay from the time it was announced. If it proves to be what it is, it clearly can be a game changer and the first platform to have a significant impact on mobile payments. Pretty exciting.
I read somewhere that US Beta begins 8/25, so the US URL might be activated again soon!

I called today and they told me to download the Samsung Plus app from the Google playstore. I downloaded it agreed to the terms and logged in and then inside the app there was a link that said "Join Samsung Pay Beta". So far it doesn't do anything, but it seems promising that it might work tomorrow after the beta has officially begun.

I signed up for the beta but never got a response from them. I was not able to see 'join Samsung Pay Beta' link under Samsung+ as you mentioned. Maybe it detects the model number and shows up only for S6 Edge+ and Note 5. I am not sure if you already have Samsung Pay installed on your phone, if not, can you try installing it using the Korean link and see if it works for you?
I had it already installed from the Korean link. However, it still doesn't let me login. I'm stuck on the start screen.
So I just talked with a Samsung Pay Rep. She advised me that the only Carrier in the US right now that has rolled out the update to support Samsung Pay is Sprint. T-Mobile is slated to release their update before the 1st of Sept. But until this update hits our phones the Samsung Pay will not run or function because the hardware in the device is not activated. So it doesn't matter what version of the app you download or where you go to sign up for the beta, we have to wait for T-Mobile to push the update.
She also advised me that if you have the Samsung+ app, and the update the T-Mobile will be pushing out, you can enroll in Samsung pay Beta and being using it right away.
Hope this helps answer some questions for you guy!

Sorry if I offensive someone... But on my 'old' HD2 with Android I was able to use and install "Daily Breast Quest" I used Android for a short time on my HD2. I flashed it with something else (wp7).
Now I have waited several weeks on the delivery of the Samsung Galaxy S2. Finally I have it, one of the apps I was waiting for was this one. Somehow it is'n available on the Markter. I have Content Filtering set to "Show all apps" it switches back automatically to "High maturity"
Anyhow, still no luck with finding the APP. Is their someone who has the APK file ? Has it something to do with the 2.3. version on the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Update 3:
UPDATE from the developer (MrGreg -- post link):
The developer, MrGreg, has created a dedicated website for the distribution of Roam Control. The application will remain off the Google Market for now.
Relevant blog posts from the new website: http://www.roamctrl.com/
Jan-03-2011:
Roam Control 2.1.0 is now available. It contains the same functionality as versions 2.0.0 (which were previously available in the market), but it was updated to be compatible with the new servers. Please see the download page for links.
Jan-01-2011:
Roam Control for Android is now available through this website! We appreciate your patience while we transitioned from the Android Market to our own site. The website is still under construction, but we will be adding more information in the coming weeks.
Many things have been implemented from the ground up (PayPal integration, licensing server, etc), so please let us know if you encounter any issues or have any suggestions. Thanks!!

Update 2:
It once again appears that the application was pulled off the Market by Google.
UPDATE from the developer (MrGreg -- post link):
NOTE (12/21/2011): I'm sorry to report that Roam Control has pulled from the market yet again. It's the same story as before...I received an automated email from Google that did not provide any specifics on why the app was pulled. I have tried to appeal the decision numerous times, but I have yet to receive any type of acknowledgement or response from the Android market team.
As a temporary solution for customers who have already purchased the app, the app can be downloaded here:
- For users who purchased the original app (version 1.7.0 or earlier), please use the version available here: LINK
- For users who purchased the new app (version 2.0.0.g2), please use the version available here: LINK
I'm obviously not going to put the app back on the market unless I get the go-ahead from Google. As an alternative, I will likely either make the app available through the Amazon Appstore or directly through this website. Please stay tuned for details.

UPDATE from the developer (MrGreg -- post link):
NOTE (12/05/2011): Roam Control has been re-published in the market!! I appreciate your patience while I worked to resolve the situation. I still have not received a response from Google indicating why the app was pulled from the market, so be aware that it's possible they may pull the new versions as well.
For users who already purchased the previous app, please use the version available here: LINK

NOTE (11/29/2011): I received an email today from Google indicating that Roam Control was removed/suspended from the market. I did not receive any explanation, other than it was "due to a violation of the Developer Content Policy." I'm working on getting the app restored, however I've come to understand that Google is incredibly unresponsive in these situations. If I cannot reinstate the app, I will certainly make it available in some other fashion. To those who have already purchased the app, I certainly do not expect anyone to pay for it a second time. As a temporary measure, the latest version of the app can be downloaded here.

I got my Note 2 about a month ago and could not be happier with it. I am an iPhone convert.
The phone is not rooted.
The model of the phone is a Note 2 internationally unlocked from factory phone.
When I got it, it had installed 4.1.1. Then it updated to 4.1.2 – where it remains today.
I have a US credit card and address. There's been no problem purchasing apps from the play store for quite sometime.
Then I found an app that I wanted to purchase the pro version as an in app purchase. Google canceled the order and refunded the credit that I had purchased.
Further, Google blocked any additional purchases even from the browser of my computer (using a proxy).Right now, I'm waiting 24 more hours as when I put in a service ticket, they said wait 48 hours and try to purchase again and if there was a problem they would try to help me.
The problem seems to be with the in app purchase more than anything.
To be able to make this and other in app purchases easier, I would be willing to root my phone if there is a safe way of doing it.
Has anyone figured out how to do an in app purchase with a Note 2? Will rooting the phone give me this ability?
Sure would appreciate any help along these lines.
PS I even wrote to the developer asking if I can send the money directly for the pro version via Paypal or if they could let me buy it in some other way. They wrote back a rather short letter that that was the only way I could do it. I tried one more time to write to them, and they just ignored me. I'd like to give them money and I'd like to have the pro version of their program.
You may want to try market access app, (google market access apk) and spoof a US carrier. You will need root for that.

I looked on the Play Store and do not find market access (apk) or anything similar.
Can you tell me where I might find that?
Is Market Access how you spoof a US carrier or is that something else too I need to do?
Also, I am on a Mac, not a PC. I don't find instructions on rooting using a mac. Everything refers to a pc. Any ideas on that?
Sorry for these questions - even to me they sound very noobish. I working to come up to speed on all this as quickly as I can.

You won't need MAC to do it. Just download it using your phone and install the app.
If I'm understanding correctly, the API's need root access to work.

Link sent. Make sure to backup your phone (I used Samsung Smart Switch) before proceeding to update via Odin.
Oh, and don't forget to install a firewall after updating - to block unwanted app or package activity
I use Grey Shirts - NoRoot Firewall
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...firewall&hl=en
And don't forget Package Disabler Pro 6.3 (important) - There are many links here to the apk as well as info on which packages to block.
I actually bought the latest version of the app so that it was registered (and supports the dev - only $1.49 ;^), then uninstalled and installed 6.3.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ablerpro&hl=en
PS I tell friends that ask why I keep this phone and don't turn it in? (1) Turn it it in for what? There is no S8 or Note 8 (2) Imagine buying a BMW i8 (or any car) that had recalls and the car company sent an OTA that crippled the car slowing it down to a crawl while spamming a dash message telling you to pull over to the side of the road? There would be outrage since from the consumer's perspective ITS THEIR CAR!

All, how goes the updates? Must be going well since haven't seen any help posts. Oh, anyone else also notice no further SMS messages from the carrier since the OTA 60% battery Nerf was sent? That seem to suggest that the update (at least this one) was coming from the operator and not Samsung directly (ex. "check that IMEI off the SMS spam list, we already sent the OTA battery Nerf to it"). This means that ppl should make sure to include the carrier update package blocks when they use Package Disabler Pro 6.3 (and NoRoot Firewall - which really needs to be updated). As a matter of fact, can we post some carrier specific Package Disabler Pro 6.3 screen snaps of what ppl have blocked?

That seem to suggest that the update (at least this one) was coming from the operator and not Samsung directly (ex. "check that IMEI off the SMS spam list, we already sent the OTA battery Nerf to it"). This means that ppl should make sure to include the carrier update package blocks when they use Package Disabler Pro 6.3 (and NoRoot Firewall - which really needs to be updated). As a matter of fact, can we post some carrier specific Package Disabler Pro 6.3 screen snaps of what ppl have blocked?

I know this is an old thread, sorry. I too, however, am in need of this link. Does it still exist?
Any one with a Verizon variant of the 3XL able to pull and post the most recent APK for the Call Filter app?
I have Verizon service but I am unable to download it from Google play. Interested to see if it will work on the Playstore phone.
9.4.0 2019-02-15 [email protected]_4_0-r8372 is the most recent release per the playstore dated 3/26/19
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vzw.ecid&hl=en_US
here is a link // was older version 9.3.1 sorry it says not compatible for me with pixel 3xl in the market link you posted. and i have older version installed. i am on Q might be the reason
I am curious to see if the latest version will work on my Pixel 3 XL.
I wonder why the play store says that it is incompatible with our device.

I'm assuming something in the build.prop is different between the Verizon variants or the google variants. If not, it might be that Google only let's you update if the app is a vendor installed app.
APK
This was extracted from a VZW LG G5 and should be up to date. Seems to work fine on my Essential PH-1 so far. Happy blocking...
I installed the Apk listed above.
Why is the app asking if I want to subscribe for $3 per month? I thought it was now free.

Go to Account in the hamburger menu, then Subscription status, then Other Options (if I remember right, it doesn't show for me now) and you can find the free option.
They really tried to hide it.
Edit: Dang, it finished activating and now says "Free Trial"!
I'll have to call them probably

Ok: Phone support says the free option will become available after the 10 day trial, which will not automatically start charging. I'll find out in a week and a half if either thing is the case I guess.
I would double check that. I just set my account up and it said nothing of a free trial, and in my app it says I have "spam protection free" and I can subscribe for additional features at $2.99/month.

Installed and activated just fine on my Pixel 3 Xl.
To get free version go to hamburger menu - account - subscription options - there's a free protection option in there. It then "phones home" and in about a minute it said "Free Protection Activated"
The new dialer.apk had this built in
Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
In order to enable the free call filtering, you have to login to your VZW account, go to plan, then apps and addons. There down the list you'll find the call filter with the free option. Then you just have to enable it on your line.
Strangely enough, it says my S8 isn't supported, and I downloaded the apk and it installed no problem, but there's no option in there for the free call filtering. But, it says when you enable it that it may take time to show up on your account.
They have an FAQ about it on their website, which I can't link to because I don't have enough posts. But just google "Call Filter FAQs" and it should show up.
Can anyone post the latest version?
As per the Play Store, the latest version is: 9.4.0 2019-02-15

I just wanted to bump this up in hopes someone can post the new APK. I have no idea why Verizon is restricting from older phones, as it works perfectly. But for now, installing the APK directly works fine.

Website is checked and is safe.

Awesome, thanks! Was checking on some other APK repositories and couldn't find any with an actual download. With the HTC U11 I've got I don't think the default caller app has the ability to use the Google Spam filters, might check into getting a different phone app, or just upgrade soon

I don't see anything about a Google Spam filter on that website, but I do see newer versions of the Verizon Spam Filter (which I'm glad to have). Am I missing something?
Also, I tried installing the latest version of the Verizon Call Filter and it just keeps saying "app not installed". I have enabled install from unknown sources, but I noticed you can't uninstall the app from your phone once you have it on there.
i installed the apk. . and i actived with verizon. how do know its working? plus a spam call came thro
I'm hoping someone could help me out here...
I've looked through the Build.prop, and have dug through the system / vendor partitions trying to find the answer to this:
What are the differences between the VERIZON model and the unlocked one in terms of how the play store sees the device?
I have the unlocked version, and use it on Verizon, and it is frustrating to not be able to find and install many VERIZON specific apps, especially when considering the fact that I pay for the add-on services.
I have also downloaded the VERIZON version on the google factory images page, but even after flashing this version there is no Verizon boot screen (not for sure there is one tbh), and no call filter, or name ID apps are available through the play store!
