Hello. I have purchased LG G4 LG-H815L about two weeks ago, running version V10c-ISR-XX and I have this strange issue with my gallery.
After I take some pictures, they just show as broken links. (shown below in the screenshot) after I restart my phone they are deleted.
I only encounter this issue when taking pictures with my phone, and both when I save them on the phone and on my sdcard. I also tried viewing them through another gallery app but it didn't work.

My touch pro2 often hangs up when taking a picture with the camera and viewing photos with the album. To describe the problem more precisely, the device hangs up when the camera is trying to get the focus with its auto-focus function and when the camera is returning from the preview mode. After soft-resetting, things get back to normal.
I tried the following things, but they did not solve the problem.
-Changing the photo storage place from the SD card to the main memory
-Turning off Touch Flo 3D
In several occasions, I got device.exe errors thus I am assuming this is the cause of this problem.
Can anyone be of assistance to solve this problem?
I often take pictures so this problem is very annoying.

Have you found any fix for your problem. Sounds similar to my problem but searching hasn't gotten me anywhere. I started a post, but no luck there either.

had the same problem and did a clear storage to reset to default settings and the error msg's are gone

I have tried this, have installed ROM many times without any luck. Don't khow what to do. Do you have any other solution???

Help! Yesterday, my wife's phone no longer saves photos. When she take the photo it will show the preview, but then when you go into the gallery, there's just no file there. I've search every folder on her SD card thinking maybe it's just saving it somewhere bizarre, but no luck.
I rooted her EVO and we're running EVIO 2 (after bringing her on reluctantly, away from her beloved iPhone), and if the camera is irreparably borked then I'm in big trouble as she loves that camera. Has anyone encountered anything like this? Advice?

Yesterday I purchased the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch for Virgin Mobile (SP-D710VMUB). I am incredibly happy with the phone so far, however when I downloaded Instagram, I discovered that recording video caused the phone to freeze, and eventually restart on its own.
After searching for the problem, I saw that some LG users had a problem where only the front facing camera would record. I thought I'd give it a shot, and the front facing camera works perfectly. No freezing or crashes. I also so the post about the Epic 4G Touch where users had to disable 'Use Instagram's Advanced Camera'. After disabling the option, I am unable to select video, and am only able to take photos.
Nothing else seems to cause freezing or crashing in Instagram, only taking video with my rear camera.
I am running on Jelly Bean 4.1.2. I am not rooted, and the phone is completely stock as of right now.
If anyone has any information, or any idea as to what may be causing this problem; any advice would be much appreciated.

Just delete the instagram app you have installed...download the instagram apk. from the link and install with a file manager..( es xplorer/astro )..to just list a couple...any file manager/browser will work. No need to be rooted..so don't worry about that.
That being said..I do not use Instagram..So this is just a guess on my part...Read through the whole thread..( I just skimmed )..Could be other users having this issue as well and might have a fix..But from what I saw..it looked to be working.
Thanks for the reply! I tried the apk you linked (v4.1.0). Unfortunately, I still have the same problem. However, I did discover that it isn't freezing and crashing immediately when pressing the record button anymore, but instead when I finish recording a video.
If you are using the 4G Epic Touch, could you please install Instagram and attempt to record video to see if you have the same problem? I'm not sure as to whether this might be a problem with my phone or with the Instagram app.

EDIT: I noticed that the phone's buttons remained responsive for a short time after Instagram froze. I was able to hit the home button after it locked up following the recording of a video. After making it to the home screen, I was able to go back into Instagram only to find a still frame of the video I just took, and black bars in place of the Instagram UI. Android soon reported that Instagram wasn't responding and allowed me to force close it via the prompt.
I don't know if this information is relevant or helpful to anyone, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

For anyone that has this problem, I worked around it by filming a video with the stock Camera app, and then going into Instagram and uploading that video from the Gallery. It will go right into the Instagram video editor, and you can proceed as normal.
I have searched and scoured the forums and have not found this issue. Maybe someone can shed some light...
When I would open my camera, sometimes the app would open and freeze (blank screen with only the back button showing). I would go in and clear the cache and data then force close the app. That would fix it temporarily.
Then there was a firmware update. Now my camera opens to a blank screen with the back arrow only.
I have cleared the cache and data, done a cache/data clear on the google app, even a factory reset. Then resorted to using the LG software tool and re-installed the firmware. Still not working.
I know there is this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2090959, but my app is not crashing. It's just doing nothing like the camera is supposed to be working.
The phone has not gotten wet (as far as I know of), nor has it been dropped. It also has an Otterbox case on it.
Has anyone else had this issue?
My nephew has the same phone on Verizon and has no issues with his.
Note, I am running Android 5.0.1
Us Cellular is ordering a new phone for me. I did all above items that they would have. He was stumped also.

LG G3 [D855] Front camera not working
Hi,
My LG G3 [LG-D855] front camera not capturing clear picture. Its showing blur image, compared to front camera back camera clarity is very bad for the last one week. I bought it from eBay 5 months back, now its creating this issues.
I tried with other camera apps [Google camera, etc.,] and I reset the default camera app. Still I'm facing the same issue. Its not even reading the WebWhatsApp QR code.
Please anyone help me to resolve this issue.

I am having a problem when using the Instagram camera (not the Instagram mode in Samsung camera).
If i go to take a picture for a story in Instagram (tried with alpha, beta and stable version), the picture moves out and it get all moved and fuzzy, not clear. It started since few software updated ago (Samsung update, not the app).
Has anybody notice this too? Not sure if a m being clear ahaha, but when you press to take a pic using the Instagram camera for a story, before it takes the pic there is a very short movement that makes the picture to be moved.

No problem on my end. all works fine, I'm on stock AT&T with everything up to date.
Same problem at my end as well. Had checked the phone at the store and everything was working. Only since that damn last update, its all screwed up. Camera quality is totally messed up
