[Q] How do I downgrade to 4.4.4 - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My phone came with Lollipop 5.0.1 but i want to downgrade to KitKat 4.4.4
How do i accomplish this? I downloaded the MD5 from samsung-updates.com but it failed in Odin. I've read elsewhere that the bootloader is the issue. Anyone know of a way around this?
If not, is there a root for build # N910PVPU2BOE1? I checked autoroot.chainfire.eu but there wasnt one listed.

OB7 is older and cannot be reverted to because of the lesser security.
Did you try the suggestions I left for you earlier in the other thread?

Can you post a screenshot of about device to see the baseband, build and software?
Can you navigate the menus to change the network settings as I described earlier? (Settings/System Update/PRL and Profile updates? Settings/More networks (roaming and mobile networks)?

[Q] 4.3 Odin Flashable Tar?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has come up with an Odin Flashable Tar file for stock 4.3? I've heard from time to time it's important to flash back to stock via Odin but I haven't been able to do so since my baseband was updated to UCUEMJB after trying to manually install a 4.3 leak.
If anyone can tell me if this is purely myth or can direct me to an Odin Flashable Tar for 4.3 I'd appreciate it.
Will this help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2075639
Thank you but this didn't seem to answer my question. I'm looking for a tar file to use in Odin that will put my phone on the stock 4.3 firmware.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
There is no AT&T stock 4.3 rom as I don't think AT&T ever released such a ROM.
Since you're on 4.3, I assume you have an upgraded bootloader than cannot be used in conjunction with anything below 4.3.
I have a Odin 4.3 tar for i747m telcel mexico, can I flash it on my att i747?

It looks like the Lockscreen has been updated to look more like what Samsung did with the S5's lockscreen style a little bit, I would have liked to have seen more design like the new Touchwiz featured on the S5. Is that memory screenshot of before or after a memory clear? Before a memory clean I average about 1.36gb of usage, after memory clean I get it down to 700mb.
Works on our phones too

If you do make sure you only flash the system image! Do not flash the bootloader, modem, or recovery images! You will brick your phone!
How did you even do that? I read in a thread that said you need the new bootloader or kitkat touchwiz won't load..

The Kitkat build on the Sprint S3 boots with the system and boot images on the 4.3 bootloader and modem. The wifi doesn't work however, but everything else does.
Just download the tar file for 4.4, and extract the system image and the boot image. That's the core and the kernel right there.

Alright, thanks. I might do it. I gotta free some space for that .tar file but even then the no WiFi is only a deal breaker because this LTE is a battery sucker lol but thanks man! But once I extract the system.IMG and boot.img then what?
Edit: I see it above. Thanks man.

[Q] Hypothetically, after restoring the aboot partition......

Whats next? What files would I need to restore the Verizon DE Note 4.
Just in case it ever get erased , it would be nice to have them handy.
Also it would help me to understand the firmware.

I downloaded two copies of each with verified Checksums just in case!
Is it safe to assume that I could use these two files to go back and forth between KK and LP on the Developers Editions Note 4?
Again thanks for putting this together.

I have no idea why there's a difference. I've used the ANJ5 and BOAF and my phone was fine.
You could backup your current setup before you switch to BOAF. Then backup your new set-up too.

Silly question. Always upgrade.

Using any n910f MM rom?

Now that people are upgrading to the MM firmware and unlocked boot loader, is there a way to use n910f MM roms on our devices. from how i understand it , previously on 5.1.1 we had to use some sorta data fix to get working wifi and cell data.. now that we are on MM roms.. is there a data fix needed to use roms from other carriers (n910f) and international models. Since as of now Jasmine is the only rom i know of for our Verizon model on 910v . there seems to be a much bigger selection of other variants can be used.
The n910f series of true mm roms won't work as of yet. You would I believe need a data fix, but as of now no one had put one out. The say you can revert back to the 5.1.1 modem, and data fix. Data will work but not Wi-Fi.. I have tried a couple different roms, kernels and data fixes. Nothing worked for Wi-Fi...

Using louforgiveno's data fix, you can use ROMs based on Marshmallow. It's possible for a Marshmallow ROM to be based on Lollipop, so you'll have to do you homework before flashing. louforgiveno's fix has been tested on the Noble ROM.
Wifi calling seems to be a big deal for some people. Noble ROM does not have it, and from the limited experience I had with using N910F/G ROMs, none of them do.
i tried F etc rom on V but not workable
