How to restore KK partitions/flash other ROM (credits to droidth):
- Download this flashable zip: Mega
- Reboot to recovery and flash LGG2 -droidth-fixed-KK-partition.zip
- Flash backup or other G2 stock based ROM.
Some people reported that it has worked good by doing like that^^ but you can also follow @somboons guide:
1. Install Auto Rec for D802
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Restore your backup file
C. Go back to Stock firmware (without lost data in sdcard)
1. make sure your Backup ROM is stock LG 20A,20B,20C,20D,20F,20H or your current ROM is stock LG
2. Flash firmware KDZ
3. enter to system
4. enjoy

Something else that master droidth has made was to create a zip that restores old KK partitions. It is only 600KB and you can find it in post #2.
Main reason why this ROM is less than 1GB is because it is only for D802.
Enjoy.

I just used it to restore my backup.
It worked!
My mistake or in oroginal FB thread droidth hasn't linked restore KK partition file? He talk about autorec for restoring, right?

3. Open MiNi FLASHER, Run as Administrator, and choose "FLASH FASTBOOT ROM"
4. Power off your device, and then press and hold Vol-Down and Power Button to go to Fastboot Mode, and then click "NEXT"
5. Choose "SELECT" and then browse to your fastboot rom.
example : "D:\Your_Rom" NOT "D:\Your_Rom\images"

*xposed fails but at least i don't have to worry about roaming R ...recovery shows incorrect battery levels but working correctly in the rom *all 3 bad ported recoveries for this phone shows 50% battery all the time * this recovery is better than the other one from stupdroid i posted . This is not my work . It is the work of darklord ..for sources and donations and further info plus download links go to the russian lenovo website .

yeah man don't worry ...it's the whole rom ...who knows what goes into stock ...one of the main advantage s of custom rom is dropping all the extra weight :good:
lg stock on my g3 was 1GB and aosp stock in the 350mb etc etc :victory:
you can always put all that 3GB back if you don't like running light :cyclops:

yes , i have never been able to implement mtk engineering mode or apk in a lineage rom though..you lose out on that and stock camera generally ..

your IMEI may change , you can use ToolHero apk to change it to original.

My phone model is XT1762 like you and when i have rooted it the magisk root failed so i went with phh superuser since that my phone is keeping crashing ("app" keeps stopping) so do you think that this restore will help me resolving this problem and is there any way to enable the notification led in stock rom

in the post, I stated that its rooted(even the title says it).
so no need to root again, only when u factory reset it

Motorola + Lenovo Devs forgot to enable it due to that , its still not yet enabled.
maybe other developers are/will work on it.
for me, i actually left Android Custom Roms development.
Maybe u can do more research how to enable Notification Led on your Moto E4.
