I just converted over from my HTC One to LG G4. I have my conference bridge-line and id stored in my contacts (888-888-8888,,,,8888888# as an example) and it works fine. However, similar numbers stored in Calendar objects do not properly maintain the pauses (commas) when linked to the phone app. How do I get my Calendar and Phone app to play nice together so this works?

Hi All,
Do anyone face same problem? When I use Jorte calender, I cannot sync the google task to jorte, it always hang on 10%, anyone can help?
Thanks!
No help but I've just installed Jorte and have the same problem. I have found out that if you go to Select List in the Task menu there is no option to select Google Tasks, only Local Tasks.
Which 'phones are you guys using?
I was using Jorte on my Huawei U8800 with no problems for about a month, and it was synchronising just fine with both Google Calendar and Google Tasks.
Now I've just gotten myself a HTC Desire Z and Jorte consistently fails to synchronise with Google Tasks (though the Calendar sync works fine).
When attempting to synchronise, it throws up an "access requested" dialogue. Clicking "allow" yields an immediate "Sorry! The process system has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" failure message.
Having scoured the web over the past half-hour or so, I find there're a lot of people complaining about the task sync problem, and they're almost all (the ones who've actually stated what 'phone they have) HTC users.
I've a feeling that in wanting to add functionality with Sense, HTC have inadvertently removed some of the core functionality. Not to mention the fact that Sense slows the 'phone right down (my Huawei has the same chipset & specs, yet it easily outperforms the Desire Z in both perceived smoothness and benchmarks - by an order of 25%!).
I'm looking forward to throwing CM7 onto the 'phone some time tonight, to see if that fixes things.
Edit: Just noticed this is in the Xperia Arc forum, so scrap the comments about HTC... But they still might hold true; Sony may have partially crippled Google functionality in the same way I think HTC did
Are there any apps out there that allow you to properly set individual SMS ringtones? ... particularly if they work with music pulled from Google music by taking it from the cloud and marking it offline in the app?
i can't tell you if it'll work with google music,
but on my nexus one i used SMS popup to set custom notification sounds for people. You can also disable the popup but keep the sounds so it should work just like you want.
but google music i'm not sure, if the song is on the phone, you could probably get it to work when using Rings Extended.
Hey there
I just installed Go Contacts and was wondering if the semcphone app could be replaced with the Go Contacts one (it has phone capabilities).
Unfortunately, I cannot set the Go Contacts as default app to handle in-incomming calls. Freezing the stock phone app results in "no signal".
I guess the semc-phone app is heavy integrated into the phone... anyone got a 3rd party phone app to work as default phone app (that can handle in-comming calls, too)?
it cant be replace since it connected in framework(very sensitive file),like using cm7 or miui stock app in stock rom,it wont work unless someone able to port it(not an easy work),but you can still using 3rd party app alongside the stock..
from my ARC
go contacts and go dialer can be used to replace contacts and dial pad but the phone app is core to the phone working. contacts and dial pad are just Gui's to interface with the phone app.
Hye, did you get any solution to this? I was trying to use a very long paused dialing sequence and seems like my Canvas 2 Plus A110Q is not working well on that concept of paused dialing. I really need a different phone app. Not just a dialer skin.
Turns out the reason some of the settings couldn't be cleared, is that they were never set. Using an app called Default manager Lite from the Play Store, I was able to set defaults for SMS, the Dialer (though as with all second dialers, the built in will execute on the actual call), Google Calendar, and a few other items of interest. Using the Google Messenger SMS app is working good so far. I just figured this out, so your mileage may vary wildly.

Can it be used to change the default voice control manager (i.e. Google Now Voice vs. Fire Phone Voice Control). I'd like my headset to use Google Now for voice controls.
Hi,
I'm running stock Android 7.1.2 on my Swift. Since upgrading I want to use the google phone app instead of truecaller. I installed it and have it set as the default app. For some reason almost all of my contacts are now listed twice in the dialer. Also, when I make or recieve calls only the number shows, not the name of the contact. I have tried disabling truecaller and then clearing the data for contacts, truecaller and google phone and then resyncing from my google account but it doesn't seem to work.
I used to enjoy playing around with my phone in the past but now I don't have the time and just want one that works. If anyone has any recommendations for things to try before I wipe it and move to Lineage I'd appreciate it. Thank you!
