Hello,
anybody has a clue how to change the length of DTMF tones on LG G4?
I need this when sending automatically my number and password to voicemail and tones are very long (over 1s) and that confuses the system. (10sec for the phone number + 6 sec for the password).
Thanks in advance for any ideas!

I was wondering if anybody tried to set a long duration sms tone, and upon pressing on the read button, the sms tone still continues to play and will stop only after the whole tone is played. Any idea to fix this?
Hi Guys,
I want to do the following:
Select a SONG so that when I get a call from anyone my RING TONE continues to play....so for example after 8 rings or 9 rings it then goes to voicemail....
ANY ideas ??
Thanks in advance.
anyone ?
Have you altered the network/operator settings to the max which is usually 30 sec?
Simple
go to phone
enter:
**61*(voicemail #)**(# of seconds)#
where (voicemail #) = the number of your voicemail centre, and (# of seconds) = the lengh of ring before divert, usually max 30 seconds.
Thanks for the response guys....set mine to 25 seconds...perfect for my ringtone.
Can anyone tell me how to switch of the DTMF tone on dialling?
THanks
PS - I'm a newbie when it comes to android - got bored with WM.
DO you mean the keyboard tones? DTMF tones are something else entirely!
when in phone press menu and look in settings for keybaord tones.
but be warned, when you turn these off, DTMF tones will also be disabled and your voicemail will stop working, because you wont be able to select menu items when you call automated lines like voicemail.
and yes i know i said they were different things entirely, and they are, it just for some stupid reason, android has linked them together!

Thanks for that. I've turned them off and can still access the menus within the vodafone voicemail service. Just found them annoying especially when in work!
Is xperia arc ringtone length max 20 secs ? Is there anyway to extend the length ?
Isn't it network dependent? i.e. how long it rings before it cuts off?
Yeah, it's a network function.
With UK networks, there are weird long codes you can type in to change how long before a call diverts to voicemail, I'd imagine it's similar elsewhere.
I acquired an HTC 10 phone from Bell Mobility in Canada this week, before they became "end of life". Bell no longer sells HTC phones btw.
But that's not my question ... This is:
Does anyone know how to change the sound of the keypad when dialing a number?
I can turn them off from 'sound and notification' in Settings, by unchecking the keypad touch tones, but I can't seem to find a setting to change the sound of the touch tones when you press a number.
Can you change the keypad tones?
