Hey guys and girls.
A friend of mine has a Galaxy tab s 10"and i accidentally cracked the glass on it. Has anyone succesfully replaced just the glass on one of these?
I managed to do a repair of glass only on a tab 2 about 18 months ago, and while it was a tough job i pulled it off nonetheless..
I think the gorrilaglass the oled display and touchscreen is all bonded together so you have to the entire unit, it should be quite easy to replace, it`s just buying an replacement.
It looks like it`s around $75 if you can find one in stock

It looks like $75 for an 8.4" display but as with the 10.5" they are out of stock.
You need to confirm what parts you are getting, is it just the glass and the touchscreen or does it come with the amoled display as well.

Hi,
Its unhappy to me, my Note is just fall down from table, screen glass has break, the phone is still work as normal.
Im finding a screen replacement on eBay, price is expensive from 250 to 300$.
I dont know is need to buy glass together digiter or not. if only glass maybe cheaper, and where i can find it.
Hi,
sorry to hear that you have broken your Note. Unfortunately it's not possible to replace the glass only. You need to purchase the complete glass/digitizer/AMOLED assembly.

He said he found the digitizer/glass/assembly on ebay. The price is about 250 USD.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
If the Note is put together like the SGS2 was, buy everything assembled already. Dont buy just the digitizer, it will cause you massive headaches. You can try cnn.cn
250$ is not bad for a newly released phone at all. Makes me feel better about not using a case/screen protector.

Yes, the same answer today from local Samsung service, and price is about 280$
Im going to replace this and never believe about unbrokable gorilla glass again.
Take care with a Note and dont give it other one to try it, just because the Note is big upnormal smartphone, if not daily user may be broken it.

Hello, everyone! I've been gone from here for a long time, but I keep upgrading my devices. My newest one is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, by T Mobile. Its the best phone I've ever owned! & I love it! But I also smashed the little square glass that covers the rear facing camera and can't seem to find a replacement on fleabay.
Does anyone know of a compatible replacement glass? Or where to get a proper replacement glass? Thanks in advance!

What color is it? White or black?
Can find here: http://www.etradesupply.com/samsung-galaxy-note-3-n9005-rear-housing-white.html

but it's not cheap... if it's not bothering you too much, I suggest you wait a month or 2... the parts will be on eBay for much cheaper. Probably $10-15.
Thank you. White, btw. I had found that same part on fleabay for $32 as well. Little pricey, I ended up purchasing a replacement lens for a note 2. I know its not the same size, but I want to protect the camera and keep the phone sealed up, plus I can't take any pictures right now because they're all fuzzy. For $3, it's worth a shot.
Thank you!

I've bought 3 or 4 from China. They're good where the vendor is reputable. Look at the number of units sold and the ratings. They're around 45USD. Removing the assembly from the frame is doable, but replacing just the digitizer is NOT recommended, as I've tried at least 5 of them from various sellers and none worked properly. Plus the digitizer touches the LCD at several points and without LOCA, would create rainbow spots, which would not affect functionality, but esthetically undesirable. There are guides on how to go this is you Goog. Have fun.
I replaced 2 screens on 2 N7, yes, buy the LCD+digitizer+screen combo. Even then, removing the broken screen from the frame is difficult, the melting point of the glue is very high and on both N7 I melted a little bit the frame...
I bought the 2 combo here:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/181285339236?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
One had a dead pixel after a few days and is kind "yellowish", the other one is as OEM and has better color/white balance, so YMMV.
I think i ll go for the 2 combo. I hope that it will not be yellowish. Thank you for the help!
Hey guys,
I posted this in the general forum but thought I would share with this subset as well. I've polished and sanded my watch down to oblivion and I was dying to find a replacement bezel. I ran across this on aliexpress.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ori...3489-4c2a-acd6-843db467ef02&priceBeautifyAB=0
Initially they indicated that the button would require a special tool. After I corresponded with them, they indicate they will send me a case with the button. With the coupon, it cost me $14 shipped to make my watch brand new again. Disassembly looks easy enough that I'm going to give this a shot. Just thought some of you who had issues in the past, or have put your watch to the side, might want to know about this,
I recently bought a Gear S3, but there is something about the HW1 that is just so damn appealing and still stands out compared to all other smartwatches on the market. Hope this helped someone!
Your title says you bought a new screen but your post says you bought a new bezel.
I ordered the black case with the screen and button and replaced my scratched black case. All the parts are original and my watch looks like new again!
Disassembly was not that difficult, all you need is a size 3 torx en small phillips screwdriver.
I also bought the black parts and replaced the silver ones.
It looks so sick now!
Where i can get the black 4g Version one
Does s.o. know where i can get one of those for watch2 with a sim Slot in black?
Thx in Advance

Odd that one list it as "Original Full LCD Screen" where as the HW1 has an OLED screen.
I know buddy it mentions it as lcd screen but we all know you cannot manufacture a lcd for oled watch can you? So it is just for reference purpose you can contact further to the seller for in detail description of the replacement screen
Hi everybody,
I broke the screen of my Pixel 2XL.
In truth only the digitizer is broken but replacing only the digitizer seems impossible without proper tools.
I was searching for a screen replacement but they are really expensive!
Any suggestion on where to get it? I've read that there are compatible ones...
Do they worth the expense?
Where can I find theme?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
I got my replacement from Fixez.
They weren't the cheapest option at $162 U.S., but it was an OEM display.

Wow! Anyway to just make the phone look like there is no damage and get a warranty exchange for it?
I have a cheaper alternative for broken screen. One day my phone flew out of my pocket at 100km/h on motorcycle, cause I like to save some bucks I found an original 2xl screen on aliexpress, there are some defected screens as they say, like couple pixels doesn't work or it has some imperfections. I took one for 70€ shipped, with 2 not working pixels that you almost can't see. They include tools to change it, but u need a seal. So if you don't mind imperfections it's really good way to save some money! I hope it helps someone.
