One click root - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was just wondering if anyone has tried OneClickRoot to root the G4? If so, did it work well and is it worth it? Thanks for any replies.

Sorry bro but if something like this worked or was just that simple you would see it all over the forums and people would be ranting and raving about it......Just be patient though. All G4 devs have Root already and we are just waiting on it to be safe for the general user before we all have access to it.

Yeah, that's what I figured, just wanted to ask and make sure first. Thanks man

Yeah I hate to sound exigent but the devs really need to get on that. It would help us out so much. I'm afraid to do the update in case the root procedure doesnt work anymore so I'm stuck for now
you must be new here

The devs really need to get on that? Seriously? Why don't you get on that if you need it so bad. The devs don't owe you anything.

[Q] titanium freeze list

Hey all, so new to the sgs3 as of yesterday, I remember finding a list that named off all the processes that you could freeze with Titanium for my sgs2... wondering if anyone has a list of removing the bloatware from our phones.
Seems with nothing installed, the phone is using almost 500 ram, where as the sgs2 was down to 264 on a boot...
So any and all help would be great
Also, is the cfroot the best way to go with rooting the sgs3?
Thanks
Its in the dev section

I really don't know. I would suggest maybe disabling bloat first and using your phone for a few days.... This way you can see if you've disabled something that you require. If all is good then freeze. Also, if you do run into problem, you can always go back to stock. I'd have to do some more digging to see the difference....

We need your help over on the AT&T side please!!

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48291558#post48291558
We just need someone with a little time to do this for us so we can make an attempt to get our AWS bands enabled on our AT&T Note 3's that we would like to use on T-mobiles service.
Thanks for your time.
This is I guess the proper question here
We need someone to make a QPST backup from a T-Mobile model and zero out the IMEI in the QCN file (or put the AT&T device's IMEI into it). Then restore that backup onto an AT&T Note 3.

I think the problem is, not many people know how to do what you are asking them to do...
I know I sure don't. It isn't that we don't want to help you, but actually knowing HOW to help you would be beneficial...

Multi windows

Hi guys, I was just curious which ROMs have multi windows. Thanks!!
There is an Xposed module that can do it on rooted stock 4.4.4. I tried it out once but most of the apps I wanted to use crashed in it. It seemed to work OK with Chrome on top and Facebook on the bottom, which is what I used it for the most, but uninstalled it after a few days because it just didn't work as well as I wanted.
Any ROMs? Anyone?! This forum is pretty lame, huh?

Why not just look over in development and read the OPs of the ROM threads and figure it out for yourself?
