Hi,
I've just purchased the Amazon fire phone (4.6.1) and I'm from the UK and with the EU dictating what volume level I like, I find the volume through the headphones quite low is there an app/trick or setting change I can do to unleash some noise from the phone, I already have the media volume maxed.
Thanks.
There's an app called hearing saver which allows you to choose a volume when attached to headphones/headset so you could use it as a hearing destroyer if you want instead.

I've been looking to be able to automatically adjust the volume depending on whether a headset is plugged in or not. Typically when listening to music, I need the media/alert volumes low. However, when I unplug the headset the volume becomes too low for me to often notice the alert/etc.
I have not seen any controls in ICS, but Ive found one such app, Toggle Settings. It looks to provide a lot of versatility, but has no recent updates or comments.
Thanks
Update: Toggle Settings is not compatible with ICS
Ever since I've changed to the AOKP or Paranoid-AOKP-Kang rom, I've noticed that even at the lowest setting (1%) my music volume is way too loud & when I have my headphones on it's all the much louder. I had to download an app called Fine Tune Volume v2 which allows me to adjust the volume in smaller increments. Is there a way or can someone share a way to make the stock volume controller work in the same manner?
Anyone?
Okay another question: Is there a way to remove the stock volume controller & have/use a 3rd party volume controller (like the one I downloaded) without having a bunch of force closes or errors?
Is there a way to change the default volume level on the Fire TV?
I know you can't control the volume level within XBMC but you can use the volume amp controls, I was just wondering if I could lower the default volume level so it starts at a much lower level.
When I plug my phone into my car stereo via aux, my notification sounds are high and Google Maps/Navigation. My Pandora, on the other hand, the volume is low. I've looked around for some sort of volume control for individual apps, kinda like what's been available for Windows, since I can remember. No luck.
How can I resolve this issue? Does this normally happen? Could a 3rd party app that I've installed, have an affect on Pandora's volume control? I'm using AudioManager Pro. I used the same thing on my DROID Razr Maxx, but I don't remember having this problem at all.
There is a cap on the volume level for music. When you press volume up it will give a warning that you must override to raise the volume higher. I'm not sure if you have already encountered and modified this. All you have to do to override is tap OK and continue raising the volume past that. This warning resets every time the device is powered off (reboot, not screen off). May try that if you haven't already. I use Bluetooth, but I've never been unable to raise the volume level up to an acceptable level.

I unchecked the "disable absolute volume" and the volume will go low on Sony wf1000mx4 after playing for awhile. I restarted the phone and the same thing happen after awhile. Anyone has the same issues?
There's two volume controls
One on the earphones and one from the phone itself
I generally set the right hold as volume up, set volume max on the earphones, then adjust the phone media volume, had the same issue till I figured it out

Thanks, found the issue. It is YouTube music equalizer which is causing the low volume. Turn it off and everything works perfect.
Since we're on the topic I have had a difficult time boosting the absolute volume level on the P6P. Is it not simply a matter of adjusting audio policy? Any ideas? I want my max volume to be 50-100% higher in all areas, ear, speaker, bluetooth
