Proper version of ODIN for S6 - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6

I want to put this out there just in case anyone else runs into trouble with ODIN.
Today I made the mistake of using TWRP Manager to install version 2.8.7.1 on my G920P. The phone rebooted into TWRP just fine, but the screen would not recognize any touches. Apparently 2.8.7.1 does not support zerofltespr. So naturally I headed over to the manual d/l page for TWRP and grabbed the .tar file for zerofltesprto to use in ODIN. I grabbed ODIN 3.10 and proceeded to try to flash. To my dismay, every PC/USB port/USB cable combo I tried resulted in ODIN hanging at NAND Write Start. I tried ODIN 3.09 and same result. I even tried flashing the full tarball for OE2, and same result. I really thought I was borked as even forcing a reboot without holding any buttons sent the phone to the unusable TWRP.
After much Google'ing I found ODIN version 3.10.6 and tried it. Apparently this is the only version of ODIN that works with the S6? Anyway, I was able to use it to flash TWRP 2.8.7.0 and everything is back to normal. ODIN 3.10.6 can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451

SM-P600 and TWRP

I have followed EVERY guide I could find on here on how to install TWRP via odin and it's not working...
I have tried to use 2.6.3.3 to 2.7.1.0 and no matter what I do it's not working... it just continues to go back to the stock recovery and isn't installing via Odin at all.
I have unchecked the auto-reboot in Odin as it says... Nada.
What am I missing? I've been at this 3 hours and about ready to lose my freaking mind...

Ok the ONLY thing that worked was Odin 3.07 and TWRP 2.6.3.3
Interesting.... IT's now working
very important is to boot directly into recovery just after flashing and don't let your tab go to android.
if you don't do that, recovery will be replaced by stock.

Unable to install/ boot into recovery after CF Auto Root.

I recently made the decision to root my Note 3. I used the CF auto Root process with was wonderfully painless. I was pleased to see my Note was rooted and confirmed within minutes. I then (like I always do) attempted to reboot into whatever recovery I then had. I sadly ran into a recovery boot loop similar to this screenshot in the attached file.
I reinstalled the .md5 via Odin and launched back into Android. Once there I installed ROM Manager to verify what Recovery I had. It said I have CWM. So I attempted to update it and the update failed. (Re-attempted more than 5 times) I tried to install TWRP and I fell into another recovery boot loop.
I reinstalled the .md5 via Odin and launched back into Android. I tried to update CWM using ROM toolbox. (Allegedly successful) I attempted to reboot into recovery & ran into a recovery boot loop.
I reinstalled the .md5 via Odin and launched back into Android. I need a more solid way to update CWM. Better yet, I wonder why am I having so much difficulty updating it in the 1st place. Any thoughts?

Here is what you can do to solve the recovery problem.
Here is a direct download link to TWRP recovery which you need to odin flash,
once you have odin flashed it you will no longer have any difficulties going into
the custom twrp recovery:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/45687485/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-hltetmo-4.4.img.tar
p.s. for best results forget about cwm and rom manager they are not needed for anything.
Good luck!

No System installable, TWRP not working, Odin not workin

Hi,
I tried to flash a Lollipop ROM on my N2, but TWRP (2.6) only says "FAILED". Also wiping/formating everything doesn't help so I tried to flash TWRP 2.8.6 as a .tar with Odin. It succeeded and reboot but showed only the TWRP startscreen. Installing a 5.1 PA zip with odin (unzipped and zipped to .tar) also doesn't work, it just failed. And trying to install TWRP again only loads a long time and then failes.
Anybody any suggestion? It's just my second device, so it's not that neccessary, but it could be nice if I crashed my Note 4 to have a backup device^^

try to flash stock ROM and make sure you flashed the right one for your device.
it should be smooth to flash lollipop from stock
It doesn't get recognized on PC. I try to find some drivers, but I don't think that works.
Odin doesn't work on Win10, but using it on Win8.1 also doesn't help.

Trying to get S3 back to stock after CM12.1

I got an S5 and want to sell my S3 that I've been running CM12.1 nightlies on now for the past year.
I'm having issues though just getting it back to complete stock through various stock TARs I've downloaded. I've soft bricked it a few times but it has bounced back after installing a recovery again in Odin. They're all on the front page of the Sprint S3 Android XDA forum, so it's not like I'm flashing something non-Sprint.
Here's what I've been doing:
I wiped and factory reset within TWRP recovery.
Then I flashed the stock recovery in Odin. That worked just fine.
Go into download mode, tried to flash the Stock NJ2 tar and it fails at aboot. Phone then says: SW REV CHECK FAIL: Fused 2 > Binary 1
I get the 'connect to Kies' error both when powering up and in recovery. Throw it back into download mode, flash stock recovery again. Works fine -- boots in CM12.1 again with no data fresh.
I then tried to flash stock MK3 and it failed too.
I've tried the latest Odin and 3.07 but both give me the same results.
Re-flashing any recovery (I've used stock and TWRP) both get it back to where it boots into CM12.1.
Any guidance on how I can get this thing back to a stock Touchwiz ROM with OTA updates so I can sell it on Craigslist or Swappa or something? I'd appreciate anything, I'm a loss here!
Nevermind! Thank goodness I found an old nandroid backup on an HD and it worked.

Any chance you could share your nandroid backup with me? I'm having the same problem getting my S3 back to stock.

Don't try to flash mk3, you will hard brick if you've updated to nd8 or newer. You don't flash stock recovery at all. Just the stock tar in odin. Have you flashed the stock nd8 or nj2 .tar? Those are the ones you should be flashing. Just the stock .tar, nothing else. It has the right recovery in it. You may be messing up flashing stock recovery. Every build has a different version of recovery ,( like nd8 or nj2).
Yeah I flashed both and they didn't work from Odin. I was on NJ2. MK3 just soft bricked me only. Anyway it's a moot point now that I got it working.

Tablet wont reboot in recovery mode after flashing TWRP

Hi to everyone.
Recently, I wanted to mod my tablet (SM-T805 chagalllite) and install the TWRP, and then a custom ROM. I followed a guide, dowloaded the twrp.img.tar file, dowloaded ODIN (3.13) and continued. I started my tablet in Fastboot/Odin mode, selected the file under the AP checkbox, connected it to the computer and then flashed the recovery. It said PASS and immediatly after it rebooted I pressed the key combo Power+Home+VolUp but it started normally. When I returned to the fastboot mode, it said KNOX WARRANTY VOID 1, so it did something. But simply the recovery wont start up, although I retried another 3 times. I tried with the AutoRoot package, it did the red android thing, the SuperSu app was there but the Root Binary wasn't. Any help?
P.S:
The twrp and odin are both at last version.
Nevermind, I solved my problem. I installed CF Autoroot which reinstalled stock recovery, and flashed TWRP using its official app.:good:
I need help was using twrp 321 some thing for quite a while and had no issues flashing ROMs back up ect. But I tried to do a restore and it failed due to , unable to mount system.
Ok no problem i thought I'll reboot and try again. Only now twrp loads the splash screen then reboots it self. IV tried updating to latest version with Odin still doesn't help. Samsung t805 here please help

Ok I fixed it the back up from twrp curreupted the recovery partition. Even reinstall twrp doesn't work or trying to get the stock recovery. To fix it you need to download the entire stock ROM and install the ap via oden in odin mode. My system didn't even boot stock but this fixed the recovery partition and could flash twrp and install a custom ROM
