Game saves? - T-Mobile LG G3

Anyway to backup games saves locally, and restore them after a flash? I change roms alot, and it really prevents me from getting to invested in my games. I know there are some online solutions, but I prefer not to use them unless I have to. If that's the case though can anyone recommend any good ways to do that? Any help is much appreciated.

Titanium Backup is what I've always used. Just change the backup directory in TiBu preferences to the external SD card. The phone will need to be rooted, and the SDFix app installed in order for TiBu to write to the external SD.

Does that backup settings for the games too, or just the actual save? Do I also need to enable the preserve db structure option? Also is that app on the play store, xposed, or just chilling somewhere on xda?

.apk backup help please

Need help backing up apks since I've begun installing from non-market sources. Where are they stored in system and sd card directories? A game I just installed automatically put itself on the card and so I can't find it. MyBackupRoot doesn't seem to find them either when doing its nightly scheduled run. Thanks.
Some apps make their own directory for data and app storage but maintain a link on the phone as well usually in \data\data. Try Titanium Full version. It is mostly the link you need to backup since it tells the system where to find the rest of it. If most of the app is on the sd card and your backup goes to your sd card, you are essentially using double the space on your sd card if you backed that up too.

Is there a simple tool or way to find the .apk location? I have 3 different file explorers but that's not the easiest way always.
The best is Root Explorer. It will search sub directories. Then just search for part of the apps name and all files will pop up.
In miui.us file exlorer sorts everything .apk .zip misc don't know if you can port this apk over or just flash miui.us cause it is amazing

When I download nonmarket apps I put all the apks in an "app" category on my SD card to reinstall if I switch ROMs. I also backup the data with titanium.

Well, it turns out that I'm happily wrong about two things:
-MyBackupRoot does snag those apks even if they aren't from the market, and...
-I found that out by reacquainting myself with AntTek App Mgr. Root, which shows every apk on the SD card and has install features too! So that's a nice way to find them, free of charge. And so they're backed up and safe

ROM Change - Best way to keep the apps and files

Hi all,
I'm thinking about the change the ROM. What is the best way to keep all my apps and files? Can I just backup with Titanium Backup and restore it? I'm not sure if the SD card will be restored too through a factory reset.
I use MyBackup Pro - Paid app but does all the work for you in theory. Backs up everything. Quite cheap for a backup app.
And what's with the SD card? If I'm not completely wrong, I think the SD card is going to be deleted...

Not unless you want it all to be deleted. When I flash a new ROM and wipe data, it doesn't delete the files on it, all my wallpapers are still in there and APK's I want to install.
I use titanium backup, a complete backup tool for root users which works really well
I use titanium, it works great even the free one

Titanium Backup all the way mate.
There is a special partition layout that prevents the SD card (/dev/media) from being wiped. The only exception is if you flash a stock Google ROM - that will wipe the SD card.

my backup root is the way to go saves all apks and data as well as photos, txts, call log, and most settings only have to redo a couple things whenever i flash
also think about using a custom launcher to preserve your homescreen setups, most people are loving NOVA launcher available here in the forums and it allows you to backup all your home screens so that after you push your new rom you wont have to re-set up your shortcuts.
I use both Clockwork and TiBu. I have never flashed a ROM that alsoformats my card, but I suppose its possible.
However, I have not always had good luck with TiBu restoring all icons and widgets. Apps and data always come across fine, except in cases of dramatically different ROM versions, like jumping from Gingerbread to ICS where data like contacts can fail to transfer. No big deal because I just re-sync with Outlook.

For those using MyBackupPro, anyone have issues when backing up just data?
When I select data and use the default directory, /mnt/sdcard, I get "Error during backup:unable to open database file." Using version 3.0.6. I usually just tell it to backup SMS,MMS,Call Log.

Automatically Saving Apk from the Play Store

Hello here
is there any way that the apps that we download from the Google play are automatically saved on my sd card so that i dont have to download them..thnx
Use some app like app backup and restore from play store.
U can use rom toolbox..

The closest thing I think would be a Backup/Restore tool like Titanium Backup (though root is required) http://matrixrewriter.com/android/
Use appinstaller you can backup your roms with it which will create a apk

There is an app called Auto App Organizer. Free and paid version. Makes a backup of apk at either install, uninstall, or both. ROM toolbox does as well on uninstall.
If you are rooted, grab Root Explorer (file manager), go to root of phone (not sd), open "data" folder and then "app" folder.
You'll find all your apk's there.
Use apk extractor its free easy to use.

I don't know of any applications that automatically backup .apks when they are intially downloaded from the Google Play Store, but Go Backup will let you schedule regular automatic backups. It can do .apks alone without root, and .apks+data with root.
Use an app that backs it up and restores it

Auto App Organizer does this at installation, and also at uninstallation.
It will categorize your apps, keep track of when there are updates ready, etc.....
You would think I am selling this app, but I use titanium backup. This one is automatic at install. You don't have to do anything but set your preferences. It takes it from there.
It is exactly what you are looking for.

[Q] Looking for a file/folder backup app.

I dont know if this should go here or in the Apps section but ...
I am looking for some sort of backup/copy app that will allow me to backup individual files (not apk's) that are on the internal storage on my Note II. I have a couple of folders on my internal storage that I want copied/backed up to my external storage. Right now, I am using File Manager to do a manual "copy". I am using both Titanium Backup and MyBackup Pro but neither of those will allow me to back up files and/or folders that are on my internal storage. They do great for backing up apps and data, but not other files and/or folders. Any ideas? :cyclops:
Foldersync should work. Let us know.

App on a dedicated partition

Hi everyone
Is it possible to install app on a dedicated partition on my sd?
My scope is to not install everytime the same apps, but I can store them on the sd...
Is there a guide?
Thank you in advance,
.Fè
Hi,
not as far as I know. One could - having a rooted system - place part of it on the extSD using Apps like Link2SD for example. But anyway the app has to be reinstalled after a factory reset.
You could use Helium backup from PlayStore to easily backup Apps and App data from your internal SD and restore them after the system is reserved. Without root this app allows backups for all installed apps but system apps. Having a rooted phone you could backup system apps and settings as well.
Send from my coffee machines swarm intelligence.
Thank you, mate
