Yes. Check out the downgrading threads in android development section. Please read before posting questions, you obviously didnt.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using XDA Premium App
I read them all, in android development section there are guides to downgrade from 2.3x, not from 2.5x, and all they say to root the device with gingerbreak: this doesn't work for me (i left it trying for 4 hours with no luck).
This is why i asked the question: to downgrade i need to root it, and it doesn't seem possibile... Is it?
Hi, try to flash simply another original rom that you can root
it worked for me.
Sorry for my english...
I heard that gingerbreak wont work on 2.50.............

Just follow the guides and jump directly to flashing the downgraded ROM. You do not need to use gold card or root or anything.

XDA is an english forum so try to keep it to English. It's okay even if it's not perfect English
If you updated to 2.50 and is S-ON, you won't be able to downgrade and will have to wait. If you are S-OFF, you can directly flash the 1.32 RUU.

Yes you can but you need to check first the partition where you are installing the new recovery,
Haven't tested for myself using Flashify, I used the ADB method using the Unofficial recovery, it works just fine.

Ma se sei italiano parla italiano sono di pavia io ahah.. cmq posso rootare e mettere flashify la recovery senza intervenire con adb ?
It is strictly forbidden to speak any other language, other than English here at Xda. If someone else has the same problem of yours and comes here to find the solution cannot understand. I hope you understand.
Ps, btw Im not Italian, I'm Albanian, but I've been living in Rome for the last Six years, I speak Italian fluently but I cannot answer to you in Italian here at Xda. Ciao bello ! ;P

Any Root method? Recovery or Roms? I've browsed the entire internet and nothing about this phone
I'm sorry for the English, I do not speak that language and this is the first topic. So do not judge me.
As far as I know there is no known root method for the K10 Novo (K10 2017) yet.
I saw a tweet from 'SRSRoot' that claims they've found a method but as per usual there is no verification whether this program is actually safe or proof that it actually works...
I would assume that if it did it'd required an unlocked bootloader and manual install of a superuser app prior to attempting the method....
At this very moment I do not have my device with me but I am also willing to attempt the 'systemless root' method involving manually changing the boot.img and repacking with the same headers, as soon as I do have my device. Then again this'd probably also require an unlocked bootloader, so I'll have to manage doing that first.
I can safely say at this point there are no custom recoveries released yet and definitely no custom roms yet. Unless they reside in a hard to reach Chinese or Hindi or otherwise foreign forum that I cannot read / find, etc. I doubt there is any if there isn't even a solid root method yet anyhow.

Do you have your bootloader unlocked already?
If so, would you be willing to help me figure out a few things to possibly create a device tree for our device.
If we manage that we could possibly compile TWRP for the M250, which will open up more possibilities.

Hello, I also have a LG K10 NEW M250ds, and like the friends of the posts above, I also browsed the web trying to find some safe, or at least functional method of getting root access on this handset, without success. I look forward to someone finding means For this. This device is being acquired here in Brazil, but, I believe there are not many developers interested in doing something for this specific device. I look forward to some effective method to get root access. Thank you.

Hello, XT2016-2 and XT2015-2 seems exactly same !
Do you speak portuguese? Are you from Brazil?
There are only some differences in sensors. XT2016-2 is One Macro and XT2015-2 is G8 Play.
I have exactly build PMDS29.70-81-5 on my moto one macro. I've patched its boot.img with magisk and it is rooted.
Now, I am trying to learn how to build a twrp tree and how to repack logo.bin for removing bootload unlocked message and possibly motorola logos and sounds. I really hate them.
Please, help me with it ! Please :crying:

Root magisk on it is too simple. You just have to extract boot.img from the stock rom and patch it using magisk manager.
For last, you just have to flash it using "fastboot flash boot_a magisk_patched.img"
