Does the stock music app include recently played and most played playlists?

all the tracks n albums are not shown in music player..both in default music player n N7 player..

I'm a big PowerAmp supporter and have used it for many years. But now i'm getting a little annoyed at the lack of ability to stream from PowerAmp to my TV (Samsung) or in my parents' to their Home Theater (Sony). Both of these I can send to using the stock music player and the stock video player. But the stock music player has very few features and with 9900+ songs it's very sluggish.
are there any other apps that support streaming but are packed with features like PowerAmp?

I have recently upgraded to a custom ROM ARHD on my HTC One M8. However, when I play some of my songs through the stock music player app the songs timings are out of sync.
For instance I could be at 1:25mins in a song but it will display it as 59:55hrs (forwarding and rewinding doesnt also work )
The songs play fine through Play Music
