I recently got a z1 compact and installed CM 12.1
However, there appears to be a bug where the bluetooth mac address is changed on every boot, so I have to repair all devices.
Is there a way to work around this and force a bluetooth mac? All the guides I found don't seem to apply to lollipop 5.1, so I don't know what to change.
Not only Bluetooth. There is also the same wifi Mac address on all devices...
so... no workaround, isn't it possible to force a blutooth mac editing a system file?

I just flashed my phone to CM10 Alpha 7 last night.
However, I have noticed that there is a small bug in that. I couldn't connect to any WiFi network that being secured by WEP even my house WiFi.
I totally don't know what to do anymore. I did restart my phone, clear cache and restart the router though.
My phone could detect the open WiFi networks that are surrounded me. However, I couldn't connect to it successfully even when I had key in the password correctly.
After I have selected the network (Secured with WEP) that I wish to connect to and key in the password, it shows "Connecting", then "Saved, secured with WEP", but it will never get connected. No Connecting to WiFI sign will be shown in the notification drawer.
Anyone who can help me to solve this problem?

tsssusan, if you need to access WEP encripted Networks, I suggest you to revert to CM10 Alpha 6, because, like arco68 stated in the CM10 OP post, "New wifi driver (note: WEP support is currently broken)". It is impossible for now to access WiFi network secured by WEP, having CM10 Alpha 7.

I don't believe at the moment you can have both. You can CM10 ALPHA 7 and not WEP or you can have CM10 ALPHA 6 and WEP. There maybe some other way where you compile your own kernel and use the old wifi drivers if you can I guess. But I don't know how to do that....
Also you can wait a bit more as arco is working on a fix (it seems solution is coming from ivendor) and I believe the fix will be incorporated in the next release. Or arco may publish it as an add on (flashable zip maybe). Fix is on its way from what I gather from his github.

yes..or you can change your wifi security from WEP to WPA.....change at 192.168.1.1...
But i recommend to wait for the update...

I have international Optimus G and on every gproj KitKat Rom(CM11, mokee, dokdo etc.) wifi is working without problems, but on aosp Roms (omni, vanir etc.) i have strange wifi issues. Wifi mac address is changed on every Boot and 5GHz wifi doesnt show my network. Always have done full wipe / clean install with The right gapps package.
Any help is appreciated, as i'd like to use some of The Roms and also multiboot, but as mac address changes in every Boot it is not usable for me since i have mac filter at my wifi and it doesnt even connect with my guest wireless.

On both I can add & connect to my 2.4g & 5g wlan networks to my netgear r7000.
But when I start a browser, google play, or anything else that needs internet it will crash with no such method exception.
The connection, password & icon of wifi has no error.
Any idea's what i'm missing?
Seems the gapps 5.1 break the wifi internet connectivity. Any recommended version for 12.1?

I changed the MAC address to match the device and I've tried all of the following with Magisk.
Stock 8.1
Stock 8.1 w/ Flash Kernel

Are there any build.prop mods that I could use to force bluetooth to make this connection?
I read of someone having trouble on their LG V20 using Magisk instead of SuperSU, but I'm not convinced that would help. I have two Le Eco S2's running crDroid (based on LineageOS) with Magisk, and it syncs perfectly.
Sixaxis compatibility app says the device is capable, but the 4 red dots just blink endlessly when trying to pair after the server has been initiated.
Is anyone facing issues with sending/receiving files in share it on Android pie
Using share it on pie for first time. It worked fine in Oreo fine.
The other device always get 'connectivity error' after they connect to my 5t under share it hotspot network
I tried with different devices Android/iOS, same message
Reinstall latest version of share it. No luck.
