First off, to my surprise, the "stable" rom greeted me with continuous dialer and setting fcs. Then I flashed the issue fix and the FCs were still present. So I somehow managed to skip the startup wizard and then trebuchet fcs. Continuously. So I opened a up the notification panel and entered settings.
In pac settings, pac console fc. Then I cleared data of trebuchet to get it working. Couldn't test multitasking as I changed the rom xD

Installed this ROM four hours ago. Here's my review:
• Smooth like a dream.
• Fast as a Bugatti Veyron.
• Incredible battery life (better than any Lollipop [5.1] ROM I've tried).
• Features perfectly ported.
Only thing (literally) bugging me is the Dual-SIM thing. If using only one SIM, it does still show the second SIM info (No SIM Card) on both lock screen and notifications drawer. Attempted fixing it via two Xposed modules (HideMissingSIM and Remove Moto G Second SIM Info), but none worked. HideMissingSIM had absolutely no effect, while Remove Moto G Second SIM Info only removed the lock screen label.
Anyways, thanks A LOT for this beautiful ROM, and please, keep up the good work!

Soon I will analyze and create a fix for the ROM N5XPA Sensor
Hi, I like this ROM. Nice set of features. Some issues / questions
1. Deep sleeps and does not come out. Have to reboot. Is there any log which might help?
2. SystemUI hangs repeatedly, but not often, generally observed after a screenshot. Again, a reboot is required.
3. Is there another kernel that I can use? I'm not a fan of the Pinkman kernel since it has been out of development lately. I am looking around, but I would love a suggestion.
4. Active display does not work.
5. Do you plan to further maintain this project? Just asking, not for an ETA though.
6. Please put up instructions about flashing the GApps in the OP.
7. Does not seem to reboot through the power menu, gets stuck on the rebooting screen.
8. Flashlight does not work either.
If I can provide you with any logs which might help, let me know.
Thanks!

Can't wait to download and flash when I get home
*Flashed and working great so far. Only issue I have is the phantom voicemail problem, but that's an issue on all AOSP/CM based ROMs for me.
**~8hrs later* After charging all night it tells me it only charged to 63%, unplogged for 15 minutes and then plugged back in and it now displays 86% :/
Amazing. Just giggety. This baby is so sexy. Everything works great except the camera. Of course. CM 12. No phantom phone voicemails or anything of the sorts. My only complaint is for Google and the new battery usage app. Doesn't show the specific up time. But totally worth it as my daily camera or not.
Dude, this is one of the greatest roms ever. Thanks a lot bro. It's working perfectly on S III Virgin Mobile.

From those 8 days I was looking for testers don't worry it's just the same build I used with my testers
Clean install. Did not take forever to boot initially other than optimizing apps. Was quicker than most roms (Kudos). Camera initially did not work (I expected that cm12) Flashlight appears to be affected as well. Installed Open Camera, required reboot. Flashlight works before camera fail, my theory is that the problem with cm12 cam is related to the flash. Wifi works and GAPPS work. Not having any errors other than the camera and flashlight issue. Love the center clock and color for the time thank you. Wish that battery color could be changed as well. Also love the fact that the home button will turn the screen back on, that was a throw off for me on other 5.0 roms. Themes still appear to not work. Other than that great job and thank you for developing this great share!

Home button on works on all 5.0 roms. In settingd
CM themes are working just fine for me. Only 2 issues other than the camera. The flashlight freezes and gets stuck on in various apps. Also playlists don't save. I created one yesterday and it was gone when I woke up. After longboarding with the buddies I realize I need a camera so alas I'm on to another ROM.

Well didn't do so well with a dirty flash over the 2/01 build. At first it was just a white screen after boot and black when locked. So I wiped cache and dalvik. Worked for a bit then YouTube stopped, the Google play services, and then store. I'm gonna mess around and see what happens. Will keep you updated.

Lollipop ROMs don't use dalvik, so no need to wipe it. I've seen strange problems crop up when you wipe dalvik one Lollipop ROM.

Lol my bad. Well I did all that and reinstalled gapps and had one playsrvice process error but everything seems to be fine now. idk about 4g. I'm showing 3g
I installed this and so far it's running pretty damn good. However, I hate to seem like a complete noob but i can't seem to locate a screen capture option. I've tried several button combos and even, as silly as it seems, the TW screen swipe. I haven't been able to get a screen capture.
Any assistance would be awesome and much appreciated.
PS. I've noticed that when i click the "buttons" option in candy interface I get a "unfortunately , settings has stopped". Other than that I haven't had any other issues.

AOKP MM for the G800F. I've used it for a short time and it seems to be petty nice.Sadly,at this point it is lacking some features like "ribbon" and "toggles"
There is ROM control however which is nice.I believe that there are plans to add more features in the near future (I could be wrong though) I will keep an eye out and if any major new features are released I will update this accordingly.
http://aokp.co
I highly recommend a full backup before flashing this ROM.Again,I am not responsible if you lose any or all of your data!
Installation
-Download the zip file
-Copy to your phone
-Reboot into recovery mode (Volume-Up + Home + Power button)
-Wipe Dalvik/art Cache, Cache, System and Data (inside Wipe -> Advanced Wipe)
-Install AOKP
-Install GAPPS

I believe so,but am not 100% positive as I'm not really sure of the difference.CM13 for theG800F is also for the M and Y.That's why I'd think it has to be compatible.
Please search a little before you flash this though.I'm not responsible for the outcome if you choose not to.

This is a known problem with our device. It's out of my skill set to fix it at this point.Gonna have to wait til I learn lots more or someone more knowledgeable fixes it [emoji1]
There are work-arounds however.Media server killer app from the play store seems to be one.
Have a look at the CM13 thread for other ideas.

Another big THANKS to spookcity for making this ROM work on our device.
I am using it for two weeks now and it is good for a daily use.
But I am a well below average user who does not use the most popular apps.
The battery life is very very good. And there has not been a single issue to report.
I just don't get what spookcity means with "lacking some features like ribbon and toggles".
I thought I knew what these things are but I could be wrong.
For me there is nothing missing on AOKP compared to other ROMs.
As I am going throug the alphabet and have been to C, B and now A next one will be OctOS (I guess).

Glad to hear it's working out!
What I'm referring to with " toggles" and "ribbons" are a couple of AOKP features that were present in previous versions (lollipop etc)
They may be part of the MM version now as well. I'm not sure.

So after testing another ROM for a week I went back to AOKP. At the moment this would be the ROM of my choice.
It is running so smooth, completely bug free and it feels somehow...solid. I only use a different camera app to avoid the known issues with all our ROMs.
There are many customization options and they are accessible in a good way. I really like the layout of that.
The ROM starts very quickly (measured whith an assisting app) and also shuts down in an acceptable time.
Unfortunately after flashing SuperSU the shutdown time is a bit long now. SuperSU integrates well into the settings menu...which I haven't noticed first and flashed it a second time.
Many thanks to spookcity for making AOKP work on our device.
Hi all! Is there a setting for re mapping of the physical buttons on the ROM? And is aosp or cm based?

I believe this MM version is based on CM. No idea about HW button remapping as I haven't used this ROM in awhile. Hopefully someone else can help.
If not there are certainly apps or an xposed module for HW button remapping.

Yes there is a setting for re mapping the buttons. I am using a different ROM at the moment but it was onboard.
I have to use it for TitaniumBackup where the options are not shown on the screen, so I set the hardware-menu-button on double-press to open options.

@TeamMex lol look who is in town for this phone. Missed your work brother . And here @yuweng u did fantastic job of bringing aosp to this phone. Caf is always the best. I am going to root my this new phone now .
Is fingerprint supported in this version or not??
Instead of asking why don't you flash it and find out yourself?
but the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Just like every other ROM. I'm sure there will be a BIG announcement if fingerprint support ever comes to this phone. At this point I hope it never does.

well old friends are always missed klozz....
what a fantastic ROM! I was on Resurrection Remix, and gave this a try, this is even more fluid and battery back up is much better......I also tried AICP but i couldn't fix the random screen off issue though
I have two questions, if someone can help:
1. How do I get "Screenshot" in Quick tiles? The + button does not have it as an option to add to existing tiles, I often use it and sorely miss it. I tried using Gravity Box but that seems to screw up aesthetics as well as conflict the selection options.
2. How do I uninstall system apps? (Exchange services etc) I cannot seem to find it in the Settings menu anywhere and TB fails to uninstall (they all come back after a reboot!)
All in all, am sticking with this ROM anyway! Best I've used so far, but for these two minor quirks I have
Small bug: Ringtone and Notification volume are always linked, in spite of deselection the option to link
nandakalyan said:
1) volume up+ power triggers screenshot . u don't need to use any app or any option for this .
Else still if u need , just goto power options and add screenshot there.
2) u can try es file explorer to uninstall system apps .
U can ever delete the system app (in ur case exchange services) folders from twrp .
Els try root uninstaller from playstore .
U can separate volume adjustments from sound options .

That is exactly what I said isn't working (notification+ringtone de-linking)
Screenshot is more a matter of convenience, than needing to press two hardware keys
Other ROMs seem to have an inbuilt System app remover, I already removed those using Root explorer anyway, but asking if I missed something which is already in the ROM that I am unable to find.

All the ROMs based on CM carry the same issues/bugs that exist in CM. FP doesn't work in CM, it won't work there as well.
I was having issues with the CM 13.0 build because of connectivity. Mobile data was very bad, speed and availability wise. I tried all the suggestions in the thread but nothing helped. I flashed this ROM last night and it felt just as smooth as the CM 13.0 compared to the horrible performance of the stock ROM (I was running B140 Debloated on KIW-L21). I am now sitting in the train on my commute to work and I have to say: speed and reception of mobile data is awesome!
Thank you so much for working on this! When this is running stable I do not see a reason to switch to another ROM. Great work!
is anyone else having Wi-Fi auto connect/disconnect issues? Each time I have to manually select the Wifi network to connect to Also, the signal strength always seems to be showing one or two bars (in Wi-Fi) even if the router next to the phone!
Well here is the feedback !.... The clock is not visible ! Its white in color and I can't see any text over it !
2nd whenever there is data switching between 3g to 2g networks the phone network disconnect itself. This was not an issue with the stock ROM. (Maybe issue with our sim telephony at cm device trees)
3rd whenever yo go into 4g area ! Phone does not show 4G symbol. Whenever I switch back to 3g it shows h+ icon . I have attached the screen shot in which there is no 4g symbol in which tiles Re down !

Bugs
Everything like CM-14.1
There were some issues for AOKP 7.1.1 Moto G4/G4 Plus like Battery power loop .
Has they been fixed in our device or we go to find out?
This is to inform that the ROM supports VOLTE so please don't flood with the VOLTE support questions
All the device tree and kernel is based on CM 14.1, so you will have every "issues" like on CM (and everything working like on CM) on the device side.
Then, about the ROM features, please check the AOKP Gerrit.
whether gallery loads image fast or slow as in other nougat roms??? and what about battery life???

I am presenting inconveniences to the installation of subjects with substratum, because the changes are not made, someone is presenting the problem

Cm14.1 doesn't have any major bugs. It's completely usable except for the occasional data toggle bug and the camera bug some people have. The kernel isn't that stable but that can be fixed by using Optimus kernel v18.
And you can find the change log by googling "cmxlog 14.1 lux nightlies"

I have to check, but this might be because of SeLinux.
Try so switch it to permissive.
Also make sure Masquerade and Substratum have root access.
I have to say GG, very good rom.
Still beta and already rock solid, and what a smoothness !!
To those who don't know aokp, its very close to CM, except a special aokp settings menu that adds some usefull tweaks.
i feel the rom more smooth than CM, may be dev have removed some unnecessary services (?)
regarding Battery, after one day, i can say it's really good
The only issue is this f... data toggle bug, that somes users like me (not everybody) have on all N roms, and here again. i guess there is nothing to do except accept this "bug".
Merci for this rom. :good:

SIM not working.
Jio SIM is in slot 1.
No range ,as in network coverage is not at all there.
The other SIM in slot 2 , works fine.
But if I install another rom then both work properly. but after installing aokp this happens.
Any solutions ?!.

if you enable the 'mobile data always active' setting inside the developer options, would it fix the bug? I'm asking this because somehow it fixed the bug on mine, well at least I haven't experienced the data toggle bug for almost a week now. usually it would occur when I move out of range from my home wifi so I guess making the data always active could fix it.

yes, but I don't really want always data. But finally test kernel help a lot with this bug, nobody know why, but with this kernel the bug is much less frequent, so I can deal with it
Test kernel works well to remove this bug
