Initially I didnt want to start a new thread, but I thinck this way is best to be seen by the potentially helpers. So...
Can anyone please post an .DIO to fix to get my Asus A696 back to work? (pref. WM6 engl)
It hangs on the ASUS bootscreen, after an unsuccesfull ROM upgrade, from the asus site, damn...
I can't use usbloader.exe and nk.nb0 file since my device is not seen by the USBloader program ("USB pipe opening error", I tried on many computers), and I am forced to use a method of recovery using only the SD card.
Or is there another version of the usbloader software who scan all the usb ports of the motherboard?
Can I use another device on the same type to make myself a .DIO image? How can I use pdocred with the ASUS A696?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Respectfully...
Actually, it seems my PDA wont charge without WM...
is this posible???

\yes from now onw it is sure, my asus a696 is not chaging, both on the USB cable or with its proper adapter.
Saying that because the pda is powering off itself after 30 - 40 sec., and initially after the bricking it dont want to power off, so I managed only by remouve the battery.
hello there,
I just powered on my PDA and there it was ... blue screen and nothing happens...
didn't tried to update didn't try to do nothing.. just wanted to use it regularly and it died...
So far I've downloaded the update file of my language from asus site which is ZIP file with 3 files.. upgrade tool.exe , Update.Img , update.dat.
what should I do from here?
please help me..
thank you very much.
see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401850 for details
thanks
yeah , I've already saw this thread but since I want to Install hebrew version I thought It will be complicated...
so here is my problem...
I've downloaded cmonex DIO file and managed to Install it on my device.
the status now is as follows : It's now working in the english version , but somehow when I try to open the upgrade tool.exe , the one I got with the zip I've downloaded from the ASUS site it says "please connect to AC adapter" wheres my device is connected to the AC adapter and charging light is def on.
could someone provide a fixed upgrade tool.exe file?
or explain to me simply how to change the hebrew img file so that I would be able to install it on my device with the Rom loaded option (like I did with the DIO) ?
thank you very much for helping me.

I need these files too but for me for another device ( Asus padfone A66 ( qualcomm MSM8260 )).
I searched these files for a month everywhere, but I find just died links.
Anybody have got these files?
I need help. I recently bought a lg g pad and I have some issues transferring data through usb, Its weird , since I can tranfer some files but I cannot transfer others. Anyway I tried to root it but unfortunately I couldn't. I've attached the command script window so you can see the error.
Could it be related to the fact that the tablet has issues transferring files???? Can anyone help me??? Thanks!!
Try to root with towelroot. You can have a look over here:

Post #3, just do the points from 1 to 4.
I'm looking to set my rooted LG G Pad 7.0 (cannot create a thread in that forum, but should be same method as G Pad 8.3) running 4.4.2 to power on when plugged into a power source.
Edit: I believe I found the appropriate LG file I would need to edit to reboot on plug in: /sbin/chargerlogo. Whenever I make edits to the file, when I restart the device all the edits are reverted. If I'm right here, the only way to get an LG G Pad 7.0 v410 to power-up when plugged in is to modify the boot image (create a custom rom). Looking into this now, just editing in case someone else with the same issue comes across this thread.

Were you able to figure out which is the correct file you need to edit to get the tablet to turn on when it senses charging?
I think I know what needs to be edited (a could lines in init.zetaw.rc or replace chargerlogo with reboot), but can't get a bumped boot.IMG to load so can't properly test .
Any update on this? I am interested in finding this out too
Amy updates?
