Hi There,
I have got a GT-i9591 FCC ID: A3LGTI9195 SSN: -I9195GSMH
I have managed to boot into download-mode via adb.exe reboot download and then
to flash clockwork-mod via heimdall.:fingers-crossed:
BUT: then one has to boot into recovery mode IMEDIATELY, but without a working
3-button-Combo phone boots the OS and the clockwork-mod is gone away.
Searched the net for hours....
Is there any chance to root and mod the phone?
THX
Martin
Just to make it clear once again :: Press and Hold Volume Up, Home and Power ---- Recovery
Press and Hold Volume Down, Home and Power --- Download mode. Please try these steps
after removing and reinserting the battery. Just to make sure your key presses are registered
properly. Check to see those keys are not flush into the frame. If so then go to service centre
and have them fix it.

Thank's for the reply. :good:
BUT: No Way. Tried this a 1000 times. :crying: The phone is mostly new and i checked the keys with bootet
OS, they are not stuck and all work fine. It is a relativly new phone.
The kernel is I9195XXUCOA2 (from January 2015 Android 4.4.2).

Maybe your phone is carrier model. If that is so, then the bootloader is unlocked.
That could be a reason why u are unable to access recovery.

There seems not to be any branding at all. How can one test, if it is a carrier model?
Is this good or bad if the bootloader is unlocked?
So, is there any chance to excange the kernel, so towelroot will be able to
root the phone.

BAD Flash when updating radios, who can I pay to fix this?
Or anyone know of a way to fix this?
It appears to be bricked
When I flashed the ATT_Radio_Rhodium_4.48.25.95, I didn't rename it to RUU_Signed
Now I get nothing when I restart the phone, just a black screen.

is your phone a gsm rhodium or does it have a cdma module too?
Both I believe
This happened to me last night. I reflashed the ROM to fix it. I used MightROM which is FRIGGIN' Awesome if you ask me
In order to do that though you need to be CID unlocked though but basically as long as you are in the bootloader/bios then you can flash the new ROM from your PC via the USB. If you need any links to that stuff I can post, but I am not quite sure if this would be part of XDA or not (Is MightROM xda? Idk? PPCGeeks??)
You can also try holding down the Call answer and Call end buttons at the same time with the power button then put your battery in. This didn't work for me though, but I had to do this anyways after I flashed the ROM so it might work.
edit: Sorry I misread. I am not sure about the Black Screen. Might work though. I was in the bootloader/tricolor to reflash. Maybe your LCD is dead or something for all I know. Sorry Mate.

oh god then you flashed a GSM radio to a CDMA worldphone (just because it has a GSM module doesn't mean you can flash a GSM carrier radio to it... nope!!)
if you plug it into the PC does the PC try to install some USB driver?

It is simple. You obviously have a CDMA device. It doesn't matter if you use it on a GSM network. Your device is and always will be a CDMA device. NEVER try to flash ANYTHING GSM on it or you run the risk of permanently bricking it.
To fix this, you will need to grad the latest ROM update from either HTC's website, or your carrier's website. Put the device into bootloader mode by holding down the power button and pressing the tiny reset button under the battery cover with your stylus. Once it boots into the tri-colored screen (bootloader), you can then run the ROM update utility that you just downloaded. This will restore everything back to stock settings and you can try again. If you have already done Hard SPL, then it will NOT be overwritten, so don't worry.
Update
I cannot get into the tri-colored screen (bootloader).
How long do I need to hold in the reset and power button?
More than 1 min?

You can't get there, because you're doing it wrong. You need to hold down the volume down button and then press the reset button once. This gets you into the bootloader.
Update
Holding down the volume down button and then pressing the reset button once, did not work for me.
How long do I hold the volume down button for?

Do you have power in the device? You need to have a battery in it. Also, the reset button might not power your device on. If your device doesn't turn on when you press the reset button, then just hold the volume down button and press the power button once instead. That ought to do it.
I stupidly installed chainfire 3D driver without looking into anything first and now my tablet is stuck in a loop.
The LG logo animation keeps repeating itself and never boots.
is there a way to disable the chainfire driver so it boots up without it.
I dont know what came over me but as soon as I pressed install I knew it was the wrong thing to do...
will I have to flash an official rom to it?
please help...stressin so much

If you can get to recovery through the key combo then you can recover from the backup that you of course have made. Otherwise, yes, the LG Repair tool is prolly your best bet. Sorry mate. Good luck.

A bit tricky. Shut down the tablet.
Hold power + volume down
Release power when logo comes up, THEN quickly press power AND volume up while holding volume down through it all. Try a few times, eventually it will work. Without custom recovery you will be able to just press power and do a factory reset. Try that first.
Otherwise, go to lg.com and go to support, download LG Pc Suite and use the recovery tool. To get to download mode on your device turn it off and hold volume up + down and then insert the USB. It should then boot up into dload mode.
Good luck.

Hi I use a LG G3 and flashed a zip that was not designed for my phone (Validus-shamu-5.0.1.alpha.1.0-TEST-20141217-2151.zip) by a accident and rebooted, and now my phone has a black screen and the led is flashing red and blue (and said error: boot certification verify prior to that stage). How can I fix it?
Additional info: I was using the latest TWRP recovery, and own a d852 variant.
Any input would be appreciated! This is my only phone and I would like to resolve this as soon as I can.
UPDATE: i tried pressing power + up and now nothing reacts, even when i press other buttons. black screen. no LED.
UPDATE2: I removed the battery and put it back in, and now LED are back.
EDIT: FIXED. CLOSE THREAD PLEASE. got my solution from: "What you have to is power + vol down while off till you see the LG logo, then release then immediately press them again it should bring you to a factory reset screen select yes and you will boot into recovery." if people are interested.

I can't even express how thankful I am because my device almost got bricked and you just saved me. Thanks a lot !
It means not fully load.
Try to install the AUTORECAR in the Play Store.
Lol. The same thing happened to me on LG-D855. I flashed the TWRP recovery zip and new my phone is literally unusable. It doesn't boot into recovery or into anything else. Sigh.
I recently wiped the phone from TWRP.
Now it's stuck on the white HTC logo and I can't turn off the phone, not even by holding down the power button for a few minutes!
Any ideas what I can do?

I had just updated my M8 to marshmallow yesterday, and it was working fine last night, then the whole of today it was stuck on an "android is starting screen", and I couldn't turn it off or on. Thank you sooo much!
Hi,
I have the same problem. I had HTC One M8 AT&T Unlocked International Version and I unlocked the bootloader and root it. Everything was fine until I installed Viper/Venom ROM. Before installing that ROM I created a backup of the previous ROM. I didn't check on Data and I think that on the error is on that step.
Anyway I installed Viper / Venom ROM (Marshmallow 6.0.1) and wasn't able to connect to WiFi. So I decided to go back to my original ROM (Kitkat 4.4.2).
Now the HTC is in a boot loop, flickering but I'm not able to select and action. I can hold the volume up and the power button and restart the phone. But I don't know if I can get into bootloader. My best scenario is to wait until the battery runs out of energy and the smartphone turns off. I will connect the charger for some minutes and then I will turn on the device with Volume Down and Power in order to get into the bootloader. If I can't get into the bootloader I will be in a big problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
My responses below in red font:

That is just user data, you should be able to restore the previous ROM as long as you backed up system and boot. But it's also possible that the backup is just no good, causing it to be stuck with no OS (it happens).

You can. Do the button combo to reboot (vol up + power), once the screen goes dark to reboot, let go of the buttons, and just hold vol down, and don't let go, until you see bootloader screen. If this doesn't work, you just got the timing wrong, either you started pressing vol down too late, or let go too early. Just repeat the sequence until you get it right.

I've been trying to root this phone and I was trying to flash it with a modified boot.img which I did, but now the phone just keeps on restarting. It briefly shows the splashscreen and then reboots again. I can't seem to connect to it via adb, I also tried using the Lenovo recovery tool but it can't seem to connect to the phone. I found that by pressing the down and up buttons it takes a lot longer to reboot. I see the splashscreen and then it goes to black for a while, and then reboots. If you have any idea what could I try I'll really appreciate it!

Hold the volume down button, and press the power button.
This should get you back to the bootloader screen, then LMSA should detect the device.

Well, it can be a little tricky.
You should be able to press and hold both Power and Volume Down buttons, till you see the bootloader screen.
But I usually have better luck if I hold the volume down button, and only press the power button till it seems to be powering down before rebooting.
also can try doing this while connected to PC or wall charger.

Are you 100% sure I don't need to also press the upper button from that same row right? Because for booting into fastboot without using the command was by pressing those three buttons at the same time. I've been trying both ways with no luck still.

Did you verify that the version you had on the device, was the same version LMSA downloaded?
If LMSA had a newer or older build number, the boot.img may cause a bootloop

Yes, it was obtained through LMSA so I'm not sure exactly what was the problem. I side effect I'm facing now is that the phone takes forever to start, quite weird!
EDIT: The only thing I can think of is that I flashed boot on fastbootd, maybe I should have flashed it on the bootloader.

No, LMSA downloads the newest build on that server.
That doesn't mean it's the same build number that's on your device.
If it's a different build number you need to flash the lmsa version, or the boot.img may not boot correctly.
