Anyone else have an issue with their alarm not turning off? My phone charges wireless overnight. When the alarm goes off in the morning I can not turn it off. Holding down the power button restarts the phone. Alarms during the day when the phone is not charging have no issues. I have tried deleting all my alarms and remaking them and that did not help. I don't use anything fancy like patterns or anything.:confused
Yes, I have this issue too. It's driving me nuts. I tried changing to the Google Clock. It now beeps once and the alarm doesn't continue. I was late to work once because of that. If I press the power button, the phone restarts. If I try to click on the Clock app, it flashes the screen briefly and goes back to Home.
I got wireless charging for the LG G4 by purchasing the sticker from someone on AliExpress.
The charger is a Tylt Vu.
I'm running stock H81110h

Has anyone else encountered this problem?
It started happening two days ago but I haven't changed any settings on my phone. What I usually do is shut my phone off before I go to bed and plug it in to charge. I will normally see my phone shut down and then when I plug it in the battery recharging animation will show up. When I wake up in the morning it will show full battery and I press the power button to turn on my phone.
However, the past couple days I turn off my phone and see it power down. Then I plug it in to charge and it automatically turns back on.
Does anyone know if there is a setting that needs to be changed? If there is I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I just noticed something similar, if i have it plugged in and i power down the phone it will just reboot instead.
I am not sure what I did differently but whatever the issue was it seems to have corrected itself. Thanks.
I've had the moto360 for a while and never had any problems till now, I had a normal day but the battery died before I could put it into the cradle. When I did, it showed the battery charging icon (not ring), after letting it charge for a while it wouldn't startup. After an hour it showed the battery charging ring, but when I lift it from its cradle it would go black. The next day, the screen doesn't display anything and when you press the button for a few seconds, it would vibrate and turn on the display (not showing anything. I hope it's not bricked!!!
Do you have a black screen app like Slumber that shows black screen when charging?
If you hold down the side button it should reset eventually

Hi. So after a long wait I got my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML today. The first thing I did was turning it on and it turned on normally, then I proceeded to make the initial setup (logging into google account, etc) without any problems. Then after about 10 minutes of use the phone suddenly turned off with the battery being at around 35% and didn't want to turn on again. I read that old firmware (like the one that comes default with the phone) had battery display errors so I thought the phone had run out of battery, so I charged it for 8 full hours and I unplugged it now. To my surprise the phone is not turning on either. The only way I can make the screen show something is by connecting it to the charger, it vibrates and displays a white battery icon, eventually changing to fully green (fully charged battery, the green led indicator also appears) only to disappear like 3 seconds after. Can't turn the phone on while charged and can't even make the phone show the battery icon again (unless I unplug and plug again, repeating the cycle). So, what can I do to turn it on?
Thanks in advance.

I have a feeling that you did not hold the power button long enough. Disconnect the charger first, and wait for about 10 seconds. Then, hold the power button for at least 6 seconds. The phone should then vibrate and then you may release the power button. Other reasons why your phone may not seem to be turning on at all might be due to the back cover not being fully locked in, thus not making any contact with the power on the motherboard itself.
Do report back the results.

I did. Doesn't work. I also removed the back cover and pressed the power button with nails with no results either. Personally I think there's something to do with the power button as it doesn't even responds while charging (pressing it should display the battery icon) and the only time I could use the phone it didn't work to wake up the phone or setting it to sleep, only double tapping worked. What is strange is that it worked the first time I turned on the phone though.
Are you able to get into FastBoot mode? If so please try performing a hardware reset including wipe cache partition. Please see the following:

I got that several times when connecting my phone to the PC. I removed the back plate and disconnected the battery, after reconnecting phone booted up.

I guess the tablet isn't actually powering down, it's just going into sleep mode, or whatever it's called when the screen shuts off. Anyway, is there a way to keep this from happening when the tablet is plugged into the wall charger? It isn't a major deal but it is sort of annoying when I have something large downloading or have the tablet otherwise doing something on its own, but I'm not actively using it. I like to walk by occasionally and check in on things, but will often find that the tablet has shut off. Then I have to turn it back on, swipe the screen, or login if I have security on. Anyway, it would be much nicer if it would just stay on when plugged in. I've looked through the settings and can't seem to find anything related. If it's there, I'm missing it.
Thanks.
There are different between shut off and standby (sleep mode):
1- Shut off: Your tablet is shutdown, the only way to turn it on is power button.
2- Standby: the screen is off, you just need to press power or home button to turn the screen on in 2 seconds. In order to prevent the screen turn off so quickly, you only need to change the screen timeout to 10 or 30 minutes. If it turns off by itself, your tablet has a problem.
Mine can standby a whole week and it only loses a little charge when waking up.

There is no 30 minute screen timeout on my Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The most I can set it to is 10 minutes, and that's where it's at.
Thanks anyway.

we call that a screen time out... you can activate the stay awake while charging feature in developer option... how to activate developer option.... go to setting -> about device -> and press the Build Number 7 times. you will see something like developer option activate. then find the stay awake while charging option. that's all. :victory:

Does anyone know how to turn off the vibrations on the phone for wireless power sharing?
Even with phone and Galaxy watch set to silent and do not disturb, the phone will vibrate when you put a watch on its back to charge. While that's not so annoying, the phone also vibrates when it stops wireless power sharing due to the watch being fully charged. That is often in the middle of the night and already woke me up a few times.
May it be possible that Samsung has not implemented a way to turn this off? Maybe with root?
