CM9 music player + MIUI launcher for STOCK/CUSTOM GNex ROM

CM9 music player: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/download-cm9-music-player-ics-app/(I'm not sure is this working fine on Galaxy Nexus, one didn't work fine and then later I found 100% working CM9 music player for Galaxy Nexus..) I don't like the stock music player on ICS..

I gonna try other apps too from different Android ROMs TW/sense (usually them will not work if them are not modified).

So if anybody wants to download those then download and install them.. at first time MIUI Launcher might be slow.. CM9 player works really fine on ICS and on Jelly Bean 4.1 - 4.1.#

Thanks, love MIUI, but would love to see the power toggles pulldown tab from the notification bar and the ability to add shortcuts to the desktops, for example with this launcher I can't add a direct link to one of the books on my Aldiko bookshelf.

If you do not like the quality of the video in the player "YouTube", you can replace it with an alternative "SuperTube Popup YouTube Player". It also supports background playback.

Playing a little with viral lite youtube player i found that enabling gpu acceleration makes the videos looks like in the official youtube app. Disabling it makes videos look fine, so i wonder if there's some way to disable gpu acceleration in the youtube app.

I use a completely different solution. I installed the Xposed module App Settings and used it to change the screen resolution for the YouTube app. That way I can choose HD instead of HQ.

How did you do that? Give more details...

Install Xposed Framework and the App Settings module. Open App Settings and navigate to YouTube. Change the settings to something like this:

It's a Chinese ROM, there's no multi language support.

Hello guys,
The NokiaZLauncher seems to be released some hours ago
Its still an pre-beta app but the launcher still doesnt allow widgets but maybe in the future.
The launcher also works with gestures and learns a bit from your actions and predict it in the future to get it easier for you,
By simply drawing a Letter like T will preview a list with apps,names with the T after 4 gesture letters it is also going through google so its pretty advanced if you ask me. Its really a troll action from Nokia to microsoft lol. Have fun with the launcher since maybe not everyone know it yet because there is also nothing in the apps forum here.:laugh:
It works properly on the Nexus4 btw, non rooted and stock for the guys who really want to know.

Yeah it is still a bit a poor launcher but its still in pre-beta phase so it will be better if it is final:laugh: i just wanted to inform you guys also that the launcher even exists for the ones who didnt read the android news sites

Introduce
Well, while searching in the system dump of Xperia X for any interesting new things.. I found that Sony had removed their xperia keyboard and replaced it with swiftkey.. But this is not every thing, they have added also a special skin for it which make it looks like Sony keyboard and today I am sharing it with u guys .
Instructions
- Install like a normal APK.
Note
- Install this skin BEFORE installing swiftkey.

Have no idea.. Maybe because swiftkey has more cool features.. But I can't type faster as I do in Stock xperia keyboard I never feel smooth in typing like in xperia keyboard.. Well, hopefully xperia X users can install it manually from market.

I jux hope sony doesnt think of replacing Xperia Keyboard with it..... Xperia Keyboard very smooth n neat!

Actually Sony Keyboard is based on SwiftKey's one, so it's vice turn and even easier to maintain - you will have all Sony features and frequent updates as SwiftKey keyboard.

Really nice and fast when typing by swiftkey. Thank for share.

Yep, the x range uses SwiftKey keyboard app instead of the xperia keyboard app(which is actually SwiftKey anyway)
