Hello everybody
I've made a ROM kitkat based on a the stock one ( yes, i'm very proud of it ^^), but when I go to Setting>Sécurity, setting stop immediatly... i've read somewhere that I should whrite in a terminal "su"," mount blablabla... "," chwod 0644 blablabla... " but it didn't work, it say that there is no directory...
I've try to fix this whis the updater script and the command "set recursive perm" but it didn't work too...
There are another solution ?

Hi all
Just need a little technical help here
I am making a script to odex a ROM
Currently the only way of odexing a ROM is by doing it on the phone (pushing the files to the phone and executing them there)
I have made a script which will extract a ROM to a folder, odex it, and let you compress/sign/flash it.
The problem :
It seems that deoxpt-wrapper (the module which odexes the files) is a binary file and therefore can not be executed. I assume only the Android OS can use this module which is why it can not be done on computer? Does this mean that odexing can only be done on a phone?
This is the code I am having trouble with:
Code:
~/resources/dexopt-wrapper $filename `echo $filename | sed 's/\(.*\.\)apk/\1odex/'`
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
polite bump
no-one can help?
Hi, i'm trying to use LeeDriod kernel in other rom and after i install the rom and run it i get an error:
link_image[1995]: failed to link /system/bin/sh
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE
my updater-script:
http://paste2.org/p/1039937
please help me find my error, Thanks!
Wrong forum - please post in Q&A next time.
It looks like line 443 is the troublemaker in that script; it's trying to link to /system/bin/bash so I guess the first thing to do is make sure bash is installed.
yes i alrady have that file, i copy it from LeeDrOiD_V2.2a rom to my.
Moved to Q&A as not development.
Well Wi-Fi is not working on my RHOD210.. So I followed the solution given by F22 :
F22
Meanwhile, the Development.apk which is place in the Other-Apps folder doesn't contain the Terminal Emulator option.
May I ask you to tell me wehre I can find an Dev Tools.apk which has the Terminal Emulator option?
Thx in advance
I want to share how to. (My ROM Backhybrid 2)
I found a simple way, thanks to Pako 777 and his utilty PUMa v2.2
Your phone must be rooted and deodexed
Downloud the utility
Open PUMa
Make a copy of your framework-res.apk copy in Folder IN
Even if android 2.3.6 officially not supported
Select device 9100, android 4.0, system; check "Change of lookscreen unlock guide text"
press apply, edit or left blank when finish copy the framework-res.apk from folder OUT to your system/framework
finally reboot
Not really needed?
Settings/location and security/set screen lock... choose 'none'
works for me
thanks for sharing, it's worked
Many Thanks ..

sorry if i ask this silly question, "what the function of this modding "
is it purpose to remove the default lockscreen swipe pattern, or is it removing the lockscreen function of some third party lockscreen application (go locker or magiclocker for example)??
btw, thanks for sharing dude...
Hi
It's just to edit or remove text in lookscreen, cause the translation in italian of "Swipe to unlook" is "Trascina il dito sullo schermo per sbloccare" and I don't like it.
If you want to disable lookscreen search for awakewidget there's a free version, works fine.
Bye
Hi All,
As the title says...can anyone help me with that??
Thanks in advance
Nevermind...googled it up and found the solution !
I followed this solution but unfortunately it didn't work..not sure why
In Root Explorer navigate to system/csc/feature.XML
Mount system R/W
Longpress feature.XML and open with Text Editor
Scroll down to the WEB section.
Add this text:
Quote:
<CscFeature_Web_AddOptionToTerminate>true</CscFeature_Web_AddOptionToTerminate>
Save it.
Reboot!
Nevermind again found the option in wanam xposed..lol
Sorry about that...
