go to en.miui.com and download the launcher from link given at bottom right corner.
if still any issue then pm me.
else you can search miui ported apps in google for other miui ported apps like file manager, camera etc

I love the look of the Flyme OS, I've seen that it has been ported to the G2, so would it be hard to port over to the G3?

Flyme OS is essentially a reskined AOSP rom with some custom Meizu applications installed
Since Flyme for LG G2 is based on Official CM11 Sources, until Flyme OS is updated to a Lollipop base it will be very hard to make one for the G3 since theres no full CM11 source code

Ah, so if Meizu updated to Lollipop and developers started porting to other devices we could get FlymeOS?

Well once they upgrade Flyme OS to start using Lollipop AOSP people can just use offical CM12 source code from the github and bam people can starting churning out Flyme OS for most devices that have official cm12 support by the cyanogenmod team
I know for a fact MIUI is currently testing a MIUI Lollipop AOSP rom on the Xiaomi Mi2

First, this rom is not from China, it comes from Viet Nam. Second, this rom just slightly base on Miui and it contains all the cm13 and resurrection remix feature. I am not blur os developer team but when I installed the beta on my Zenfone 5, it showed me a good result.

The miui provided for us is based on 4.4.2. Blur is 5.1.1.

The i9300 (s3) seems to have it. Would it be easy to port?

But Miui supports spen ... whereas i think blur os does not. Also i think miui is on 4.4.4

MIUI based on Android Nougat for Redmi 1S?

I have a question in mind and I'm hoping that I will get an answer. Excuse me for I have no clue in developing a ROM.
What bugging me is the release of Android Nougat for Redmi 1S which is done only by CyanogenMod (now Lineage OS) with the stock Android UI. This is the same thing happens to other ROMs like the Mokee. However, MIUI ROM for Redmi 1S is definitely an eye catcher which will make you think twice if you really wanted to flash CM14.1 Android Nougat.
My question: Is it possible to develop the MIUI ROM but it will be under Android Nougat so it will not compromise the MIUI UI instead of the generic CM/ Mokee/ Lineage OS UI?

hence miui is highly skinned rom ..the system partition does not enough for stock nought rom...
so, there is no possiblilty for nought on redmi1s :good: :good:

AICP 12.1, Slim 7 and Dirty Unicorns 11.0 supports Substratum/OMS.

suggest me a good kernel that has the battery backup as stated by users and dev , i don't play games , stream to music very often , i even don't use google apps , also i don't watch videos offline but i do watch YT sometimes

depending on your usage, for normal use mine has 11-12 hours of SOT
TIP: don't try to install google assistant it will drain your battery, but you can install google app and always use pico package when flashing gapps.

whats wrong in miui roms they are better and full of features which other roms dont provide and i m too waiting for more aosp roms i just asked about it.....

Okay, you should try crDroid first with substratum. There are tons of tinkering. Im also using gravity box along with it. To be honest miui is only good for redmi phones. Not much customization and i haven't seen and such feature exclusively in it. Let us know and someone might put it inside rom.

okkk bro i understand about miui rom but what about more awesome aosp roms for j7 2016 there are tons of aops roms for redmi note 4 and other devices why not for our device...... so i am requesting the developers to port more awesome aosp roms for j7 2016...... thankyou

Redmi releases source quicker and project treble is supported by them in the newer phones. Read about it

Yeah, but samsung is notorious when it comes to releasing source. A6 has the exact same chipset we have in j710. It has officiall oreo and we do not. Devs are working hard

I only can found it for J7 2015. J7 2016 still not exist. Also it's very old MIUI, version 6.
