Hey guys, so I bricked my T-Mobile Note 2 that was on Jelly Bean 4.3. I was trying to unroot it and I flashed the wrong firmware with Odin, although it was still a firmware for T-Mo. Now when the device tries to boot up, it gets to the black screen with the Samsung logo on it and stays there. I need the T889UVUCMK7 firmware and I tried downloading it from Sam-Mobile but that website requires you to buy a premium account to download fast (why?...) or suffer through 15 kb/s which is currently at 0% after downloading with a 40 mb/s connection and is expected to finish in 7 hours. The other site I tried was Samsung-updates which uses rapidgator and it downloads even slower than Sam-Mobile. So yes, I'm desperate because the device is my uncles and he wanted to unroot it since it was given to him by his son. He has work in the morning and simply can't wait til the next day to fix it. If anyone has the T889UVUCMK7 firmware, please help me out. thanks.
tl;dr: desperately need the T889UVUCMK7 firmware to flash to a bricked T-Mo Note 2. Device belongs to uncle who has work in the morning and it's late night. Tried Sam-Mobile but it downloads really slow because you have to pay for premium.... (why?...) and tried Samsung-update but links you to rapidgator to download even slower then Sam-Mobile! Thanks for your help xda.

I know it's too late now, but you could have just downloaded a stock rooted ROM from Mr. Robinson here.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975560
If you need to unroot, just do it through the SU app.

Hi all. It's been a while since I was here.
I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area in advance.
I was wondering if there was another site to download the unaltered JB [T889UVUCMK7]Stock 4.3 firmware for my SGH-T889 TMobile Samsung Galaxy Note2 without going thru the stupid SAMMOBILE download site with their hidden SPAM/MALware attempts on my PC?
I also want to avoid them because their site is telling me it's concstantly going to take 12+hours to D/L. So I attempted it. I came back the next day, 16hrs later & it was still d/l'ing!!!
Thanks in advance.
Ok so it all started when I rooted my phone so that I could get Foxfi to work again on my unlimited data plan with AT&T. All was good for a while, and then phone started restart randomly. Most Recent the WIFI, and Bluetooth stopped working all together. I backed up all my data and tried to flash 4.3 firmware with odin using this file...KIES_HOME_I317UCAMA4_I317ATTAMA4_578342_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5
of course this bricked my phone i think??? and wondershare now recognizes my phone as GT-S5690.
i downloaded this, but unfortunately have no idea what to do with it. Does it open in Odin?? i will be happy to buy you a beer if you can help me bring this SGH-I317 back to life??

SELinux and KNOX are present.
This doesn't really mean a lot, KNOX is an integrate MDM, something you can turn on/off.
The Note 3 is rooted with SELinux: Enforcing without any issues.
ro.build.selinux=1
ro.config.tima=1
tired again to download firmware from Sammobile, but every freaking site that has the download is full of malware, bloat, etc
if anyone can help it sure would be appreciated.

I Can Help you out... I think
I also have a Note 2 with AT&T.. so I have the same exact phone as you... and I also bricked my phone a couple of times (rookie mistakes in the past). I was told that the only way to bring it back is to Flash the Original Stock from from when it was introduced and slowly work your way forward to the current version of Android. I will give you the link that has all the instructions... Just follow it and hope that your battery has enough juice left:
Scroll down to Terpin32 and follow his instructions... I've used it twice and it does work

Hello,
So I have the 4.4.2 Galaxy Note sgh-i467, it is stuck in the recovery mode,
I've been trying for some time already to contact Samsung to have some help with the device no luck, they ask me to go to USA or ship it to them for the fix. I have tried a few methods I found here on the forums but no luck with them also, maybe I missed something, basically my question is : was someone able to recover from 4.4.2 to a working tablet ?

I had the same problem and tried Kies and Odin as nothing else seemed apparent. Kies 2.6 would download the 4.4.2 update and show almost finished on the green bar indicator in download mode then Kies would freeze up on my Windows 7 computer and I'd have to end task on it and restart the tablet. There doesn't seem to be a KitKat ROM on sammobile or anywhere else I could find. I did find a thread in the development forum that I've since lost where a senior XDA developer had indicated he'd put in a request with Samsung's executive level of support to get a copy of the 4.4.2 ROM. I tried using Odin to flash the JellyBean image from sammobile, but that's what had caused my table to get stuck in recovery mode in the first place, so it didn't work. I've flashed plenty of ROMs on my GS4, so I'm no stranger to Odin but you seemingly can't go back to JB from KK thanks to the locked bootloader that comes along with it.
I was lucky in that I'm in the U.S. and could bring the Note 8 to my local Best Buy's Samsung Experience kiosk. After my fourth visit to the third Best Buy, I finally found a guy who reloaded the Note 8.0 with the 4.4.2 ROM. It's back up and running now with the stock 4.4.2 ROM.
Charcaroth I wish I could hit that thanks button a hundred times. The Samsung Experience Center @ Best Buy fixed my Note 8.0 that was hopeless just as you said.
Thanks for going above & beyond with your help via private message!
Hi,
My phone shows that the update to 5.1.1 is avaible but at this time I have no WiFi, I have hooked up my desktop and my Window Tablet to my Hotspot to try and trick it with no luck :crying:
I'm over my 2gb limit but my throttling is very funky, I will get great speeds at times, even been able to download few movies overnight via Torrrents and CD collections.
I am stuck cause Kies will not show me a update allowed. Still showing me I have the latest firmware. I know a few people have gotten it already its almost 700mb, can anyone that has it copy it from there device and upload it for the few of us to be able to flash via Odin? I helped out and uploaded my 5.1.1 when I was on the T-Mobile S5 and uploaded it to MEGA and a torrent from my computer. Hopefully someone will help. I tried a few ways but I can't see to get KIES 3 to see a update. Idk why Kies wouldn't see it but my phone does, is this region based? Also Sammobile has nothing for firmware for the N910A which I assume is due to AT&T and there efforts to stopping from trying to make it easy to mess with the bootloaders on 5.0+
Thanks
Sorry If I posted in the wrong area, Im not use to the AT&T Note4 being so unsupported. I have only had the Galaxy S3, S4 and S5 for T-Mobile until a few months ago when I got the N910A
I'm trying to unlock the bootloader on my note 2 SCH-I605 Verizon and I only found a Suck it Verizon download, since the download links for No You Verizon are down (at least the service they used to host the downloads don't work).
Sammobile is down on Normal DL right now (tomorrow its back up so I will try again). so I downloaded it from galaxynote2root.com which probably wasn't the best choice. I used ODIN and tried flashing both the 4.1.2 and 4.1 but they both failed at: "<ID:0/006> sboot.bin", which led into a fail. I tried many images, but none have worked. If someone could help me out here I would give you a :highfive: because i've spent 3 days on this now with nothing accomplished... Thanks!
