I know many people are still waiting, but I got my 5.1.1 update on my Moto 360 last night. Right away I started playing with the new features and I noticed that any of my contacts that have multiple phone numbers have the phone number labels are now mixed up. For instance, for my wife, the number that says Mobile is her Work number, a number labeled as Other is now labeled as Home, then her Mobile is labeled as work, and then finally the 2nd number labeled as Home is actually our home number. This appears to be happening with most of my other contacts that have multiple numbers. In most cases their Mobile Number is being labeled as Work and their Work number is being labeled as Mobile.
Is this happening for anyone else? Has anyone noticed this on any other non Moto 360 Android Wear devices?

Yep. I noticed the same problem on mine today.
In a kind of related note, mine caused my hangouts threads to get unmerged into seperate SMS and Hangouts threads.
I can't even get my contacts to show up, it just says add contacts in the contacts app

Anyone else had this problem? Text from T-Mobile is listed as from one of my contacts (and not from T Mobile). I checked the afrementioned contact's details and none alludes to the fact that I have accidentally include 150 into her details etc
lol same here mate.
Think it's a bug and t-mob f*****d up with their OS lol
I had the same, was listed as someone I hardly talk to on Facebook. Just removed the friend and worked itself out.
Same here, pulled someone off FB!
............
Same here, was my nephew from Facebook!!!
Have complained to T-Mobile along with the lack of complimentary movie rentals (imei issues, apparently!!).

SAME HERE!
I'm not too fussed though ...
Guys
I am assuming that you are getting these problems even after customising the 'View' option of the People widget. Otherwise you can customise the list even further there.

If you sign-in to Facebook, it will pull your FB contacts and link them with your regular contact book.
Also, you might have an option to save unknown numbers after the call and that's why 150 is appearing in your contacts.
As the saying goes... RTFM
How do I remove ALL my FB contacts I only want the one's that I have Google Contacts for and manually link?
Just happened to me also.
Weird??????
Just happened to me when I got my Flext allowence text but its not an issue with just the tmobile rom, mines a sim free desire from carphone warehouse and still does it so its a bug with the desire, had to delete the facebook contact and it sorted itself out.
Had this also - check the contact that its matching against and see if they've got a wonky phone number on their facebook profile, something with letters in it. Mine had 'ask me' as the phone number and it seemed to match on that.

Same. My contact has ask me as her mobile number ugh.
Hi All,
Back in the days of using GB, I remember that the stock messaging app had an option to show only contacts w/ mobile numbers, so that you wouldn't accidentally select a landline or office phone to text (it might have been default functionality, actually - if a number was labeled as 'home' it wouldn't show up, however all 'mobile' numbers would).
Anyway, in ICS, I noticed that *all* numbers for a given contact show up when composing a new message. This seems to defy common sense, as I cannot send a text message to my parents' house landline.
Is there any way to make sure non-mobile numbers aren't shown when composing a new message?

I am having the same problem on my rooted HTC Rezound with ICS. Not only does the text message compose function show all of the phone numbers for a contact, but it displays their mobile numbers as "Home" along with their real Home numbers, so it is impossible for me to know which number to select. Surely someone has figured this out already?
I think you just have to make sure that mobile numbers are set as mobile numbers and home numbers are set as home numbers. To do this you will have to edit each of your contacts. It might be easiest to do it from a computer.

I just purchased the Moto 360 and upgraded to the latest 4.4W.2 software update. According to the Android Wear help forum when I receive a text message notification (my text messages come through Google Hangouts using my Google Voice number), in addition to the text just received, I should be able to view the last 20 messages with that person by swiping right to left. I am unable to do this. When I swipe LEFT (not right, as this dismisses the notification), I can see older messages I had with that person, but random ones, with messages missing in between (and also not 20, only a few). Furthermore, if I get multiple text messages from the same person, I can only view the last one sent by that person as any previous notification card is automatically dismissed!
Also, another issue I have is when I get missed call notifications, if I have more than one missed call, I cannot see who the missed calls are from! Only when I have one missed call notification can I see who the caller was. Is this also a bug, or is this just the feature that is available currently for Android Wear with Moto 360?
I am paired to a Samsung Galaxy S4 I337 (AT&T) that has been unlocked and then manually upgraded to Android 4.3.
I'm just wondering if others have these issues, and/or if this is solved with a software upgrade, or if my watch is somehow defective where I should take it back to Best Buy.
Thanks ahead of time for any help/advice.
Regards,
Saadat
Hey guys i just recently got a Note 4 switching over from an iPhone 6. I love it so far but one issue has got me extremely frustrated. My phone keeps automatically deleting text messages and/or not sending/receiving text messages. It looks as if its sort of a known problem with this phone. I have already disabled the "Delete old messages: option in messaging settings and still am experiencing this issue. Help! I'm loving the Note 4 but this is just irritating.

I had AT&T reactivate a new SIM card and switched my account provisions but as far as removing from their server, no? i mean i dont have the phone and dont know where i would do it. Although i found this link selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage and put my phone number but says its not registered so i dont believe thats my issue
It's more an Apple problem, well known.
One aspect of it;
http://mashable.com/2014/11/10/apple-imessage-android-fix/
You can also make sure you have the correct message center (voicemail) number in the phone.
I posted that link in my last post about de-registering my number which as though it seems to not be registered. I would recieve a text, see it in my notification panel, open it, and poof. its gone.
It happens to iPhone and noniphone users
http://money.cnn.com/2014/11/10/technology/mobile/apple-imessage-iphone/
http://www.xda-developers.com/apple-holding-ios-users-hostage-with-imessage-flaw/
Pretty crappy way to run a business like this and hold users hostage because they are defecting to another competing OS.
I'd say 30% of my contacts have been messed up since the latest AT&T update a few weeks ago. Here is whats going on...
I get a call and it says it's from one of my contacts, lets say Tom Smith, but it is actually from Sally Jones. The name says Tom Smith but the phone number belongs to Sally. I end the call and view contact. It shows Tom's name but Sally's phone number. Sometimes It shows Tom and Sallys phone number under the same contact! It's like it took some of my contact names and their phone numbers and addresses and mixed them all around.
Maybe unrelated but for years now, over half of my contacts have multiple entries in my contact list for some reason. For example I might have John Adams listed 7 or 8 times in my address book but only one of them has his phone number and address in it. I only ever knew one John Adams and only added him once to my contact list.
Is there a easy fix for ALL this?
I don't think I have my contacts synced to any account except maybe AT&T. I have several hundred contacts that I only have saved on my phone and really don't want to go into each one and verify that is their correct information. In fact I would have to call many of them to verify their info because what I have is all mixed.
Thanks...
