Nice to see someone else pushing the bounderies a bit more on these animated back grounds,I think you have done a good job and cant understand why there aren t more people on this thread!
Once these animations are understood a little more the possibilities for high quality smooth animations of any sort we be just around the corner.
I would comment on how they work on my device (diamond 2) but unfortunatley
they dont and I am unsure why. when I select personalize - Home tab wallpaper - Animated wallpaper nothing is there
I guess its my rom and I have missing files allready
Would be cool if you could try and edit the other animations including the weather ones, I.ll look foward to see what you can come up with next.

Thanks for your input! As far as there being no Animations in your ROM i suggest PMing your ROM creator and see if they left the files out or not....
I will work more on these eventually theyre fun and easy to do! But at the time i am finishing up making my Acer S200 ROM and then i am going to finish making my custom icon pack and then i will create my custom Startup animation...
Let me know what your ROM Chef says about those animation files!

I know this may sound wierd but i was wondering if you cound do one of the united states senate seal? Im kinda a historian buff and congress if my concen right now. heres a link to a pic of it.

isnt there the possibalety to make a full image animated? (just like on the nexus one) ???
i dont like flying things in background but an fully animated wallpaper would be awesome!!!!
is there any way to get to there?

Sounds easy enough though it will take some time due to recently having baby and losing all of my tools to do it.
Are you wanting one that is just football and one that is just basketball(easy)? Or are you looking for a separate animation for each team(harder)

- "my daily" : the incoming episodes. with buttons to mark episodes as acquired / watched. orange is for "aired" blue is for "acquired"

Hey man, looks pretty good.
One thing that popped out at me: The refresh/sync button in the first set of screen shots. It looks like it will be a bit hard to hit (I've got fat fingers ). For an end users point of view it would probably be better in the application bar (although it may look a bit lonely there).

Looks good. I really like the fact you get info on every episode of the show. It would be cool if would add reminders and live tile notifications of upcoming episodes. If that was added I'd pay $1.99 and if not $.99.
It is a nice app either way, but it would be a hard sell for more than 2 bucks.

I had one of these types of apps in progress before I just gave up on it due to not really feeling like finishing it. One idea that I wanted to integrate into mine, but never found out if it was possible was something like a calendar sync. You hit the button and bam, it will add it to your calendar to remind you which night a certain show might be premiering or returning to TV.

for the calendar, we wanted to do so, but no api is available in WP7, the only possibility was for us to access the users gmail account and send reminders in.
But it implied storing personal connection data, and we don't like that.
If new apis are available in new wp7 updates we will probably check it out

Looking good. Was actually looking for an app like this. I assume it will only show the original airdates in the country of origin? Would it somehow be possible to let the user add a custom day of week, so they can check what shows are on that day?

We originally wanted to convert airtime to the users timezone, but we don't have the "original timezone' information on tvdb.
For your other question : I didn't really understand what you mean.
(or maybe?) : you would like to see what airs on tuesdays for example?

Let's say I've added Big Bang Theory to my watch list. In the UK this show is on a Wednesday, so I'd assign that day to this show. Someone else might be watching the repeat on Fridays, so they pick that day instead.
Then somewhere in the app, I could check what's on each day of the week and if I looked on Wednesday it would list Big Bang Theory and any other shows I've flagged for that day.
It wouldn't have to have to say what episode or anything (no dates or times either), just that the show is on. Like a reminder and personalized TV guide.
I think it would be a great feature considering the fact that most shows air on different days around the world.

Appologies if this is already covered in the app, I didn't see it in the screenshots or video though.
Protip: Please add a notice in the app saying something along the lines of "All data provided by TheTVDB.com" and "if you enjoy our services and can afford it, please show us by donating" linking to our Donate page.
Also be advised there will be an official TheTVDB client in the future, with interactive functionality - i.e. ratings, personalized recommendations and so on. You've done some good work here though. If there are any API calls you feel could be optimized for mobile, do let me know (some have already been re-written specifically for WP7, although they are still in private testing).

As for price, most might disagree with me.. But I do value the effort developers put towards their apps, and I am not afraid to go as far as $4-5 depending how fast updates and the application works. It's a service to us and an income to you ;-) Hopefully lol.

The pixel is a period. In the preview read the bottom part of the message.

I had this before but was disappointed to find it had no easy way of taking my own images and splitting them into multiple tiles

Yeah, there is no way for us to remove that pixel. It is actually a period (.) that we need to put there when you don't specify a title for the tile. This looks like it is required by Microsoft when we create the tile.

This does not work on my phone. I get a message in the application saying "An error has occured. Please make sure your phone is connected to a network. If you have just selected the enable tile notifications, please wait and try to create the tile again." or something along those lines.
My phone is connected to the internet but still I only get a black tile with the white "Pin" application logo on it.

Hi, we’re sorry you are having issues with the app. We would love to help you resolve your issue.
When you receive this error it usually just means that that you need to click the 'create' button again after a few seconds. When you check 'Allow tile notifications' it can take a few seconds before you can create a tile.
In a few cases, we have seen errors occur during this step and the app actually crashes. Did this happen to you?
As a last resort, please reboot your phone and try it again.
If none of these suggestions work, you can also email us at [email protected] and we be happy to work with you to resolve this issue.

So I installed the app on my phone. Brings up a preview of the face. What do you do from there? There doesn't seem to be a menu or any way to sync
the thing.

It should show up on your watch in your watchface section. I think you have to your watch connected when you install the apk, did you try to sync your apps with the Android Wear app on your phone after installing?

I'm not sure. Facer is also an apk though, I believe you are just changing the images it uses in the watchface when adding a facer file.

It lag sometimes. Or frees.

there is a lag when going from dimmed to on. It also killed my battery, at least with version 2. the animation and foot tapping is very nice though.

pretty much got most of it done, but not sure what the new weather codes are but it think i may have got them right, so that is why this is beta... please test for me in ur location and let me know if a code is wrong, just state what the condition is and the weather icon it is giving u. Thank you

i don't think watchmaker will work u have to use Facer, watchmaker will not allow for the background changes, i have already tried that, thats why i had to put [FACER], i get the same error when trying to use watchmaker

UPDATE!!!! (re dowload same file)
Added black shadown on battery, temp, and clock
added sunrise and sunset icon's and time
fixed some background and weather icon issues and time

Hi all when I put this on facer it does not show the hi or lo temps or current weather it only shows the hash codes #WCT# #WCCT# ect I have the latest firmware on watch but don't yet have lollipop on phone is this the reason why?

I don't have Lollipop on phone and it works fine for me. Are you using Facer?

It may have to do with facer, i had yhe same issues prior to lolipop

Figured it out on my watch I have a legacy mode and a lollipop mode, I selected the other mode because I didn't think I should use lollipop as I have not got it on my phone yet.

Working flawlessly, this is perfect for me in Sydney Australia. Will be keeping my eye on this thread!

Can't port it to watchmaker I hate using facer app never loads the faces...in facet it's just a black screen.

Lol I had the same issues with watchmaker... I could not send they faces to my watch
I had sent my images pashka79 and they are going try to make a watchmaker version

Thanks for this mate it really is good. Can you tell me why my location is wrong? (About 5 miles out) All location details are correct in other apps that use it. Is there a way I can change it?

Just got my 360 today and put this on Facer. I keep on getting Errol where the location should be. Everything else looks right but that. There is no Errol around me. I have a Nexus 5 5.1 and Moto 360 5.0.2, Any suggestions?

This is my favorite watchface -- well done.
It would be cool if there was a way to overlay the weather effects to my own picts. I could do something like show my house with snow or rain.
