need help - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4

i have att note 4 on tmobile i was told either borrow a sim card or use odin i used odin now my phone just power cycle cant even boot into recovery can some body please help me get my phone back on from the power cycle and the right way to use odin when installing new firmware use to be good at this but i guess being on iphone really got me lost help

OK weird I just use odin to put stock 4.4.4 back on and work fine do I have to factory reset before using odin to put 5.1 on my phone?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

It's best to install the update then factory reset yes! Just because some cache may linger from the previous update.

Well I can't even get the update to work just power cycles
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Is it the right .tar file for your model?

Yes just I'm on tmobile network att note 4 just unlocked sm-n910a
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

They said to just use the ap tar part but it has like four file
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Did the 4.4.4 update work fine? Like booted up and everything? Or did it just started the repeat reboots on lollipop?
---------- Post added at 06:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:03 AM ----------
Another route to try would be kies by samsung. And another question, did you have the phone in download mode when you tried to flash through odin?

If it has 4 parts you need to use all 4 parts the first 2 letters of each part tell you where they go bl to bl ap to ap etc. Etc.

If you unsure what a back up is then, personally I don't think that you should be flashing anything! Imho
Think you should do a lil research b4 you break something...
Sounds like your rooted, having CWM on there.. I prefer TWRP recovery.
But to make a back up you do it from the recovery.. And that's the first thing you should have DONE, was make a BACK up! B4 you started anything!!!

If you are having problems with Odin make sure you are using a USB port on the back of your pc and have the latest device drivers installed.

Flashing modem succeeds but doesn't update?

So, basically as the title says.
I've got the m919v, and I've extracted the modem.bin from the 4.4.2 stock firmware, and flashed it with Odin 3.0.9. In odin, everything goes green, all looks great, but when I boot into the system, it still shows baseband as mk5.
Just to go over my Odin steps clearly:
Boot phone into download mode with USB unplugged.
Start up odin, plug phone into usb
Click CP and select the modem.bin (have also tried NON-HLOS.bin)
Hit start and everything goes green and looks like it succeeds.
Any ideas?
edit: I'm trying to flash the NB5 modem
Add an additional step to that, when you flash the modem and the phone reboots before it shows the galaxy s4 logo have the button combination for download mode ready and once it reboots hold them and it's gona take u to download mode again and flash it again and it should do it

No luck, still on mk5.
I flashed the modem, rebooted directly into download, restarted odin, flashed again.

Uncheck reboot. After flashing twice, power down, remove battery, let it sit for a minute, power up. That should do it.
Tried flashing twice in a row, no reboot, tried odin 3.07 as well, same thing, still showing MK5
Run Odin as Administrator and UNcheck all the boxes (auto reboot/f. reset time). Click the Phone box and load the modem and click start. After it says PASS unplug the phone and long-hold the power button until the phone turns off. It will automatically reboot. Check again and see if it worked. If not try downloading the modem from another source.
And try using Odin v3.07 instead. If all else fails, try using a different USB cable.
Try on a different computer.

Phone stuck, and won't boot. Possible soft brick?

Alright so my dad just got a S4, and I did the same steps I did when I rooted my S4, except this time it didn't work. I flashed CWM Touch Recovery v6.0.3.2 and flashed the root file via recovery. Now when I reboot it gets to the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo, and just gets stuck. In the corner it says "kernel is not seandroid enforcing". I'm doing my best not to panic, but I could use some help fixing this.
I can:
Get into Recovery
Get into Download Mode
Any tips and advice would be amazing, thank you!
What "root file" did you use? You need to flash the stock firmware and then use Odin to flash CF auto root or something.

No clue. I just assumed it would be the same as mine. I'd make the safe assumption it's 4.4.2 as the android version, as that is what the website is telling me. As far as Baseband I have no clue. Is there anyway I can find out without booting in?
I've actually done this same exact thing about a year ago with my last s4. All I did was flash the latest firmware with odin and start over. The fact that you can get in to recovery and download leads me to believe everything should be fine, except you may lose all you saved data like messages, pics, etc..

That is reassuring. It was an out of the box thing. We charged it, and then he had me do it real quick. Now I just got to find the latest firmware for 4.4.2.

Okay, and I should be using Odin 3.09?
Instructions
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin zip-file
Open Odin v3.09
Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes
I took those instructions from sammobile

No problem. I'm glad I could help.
Just for future reference, you dont need to hold the HOME button when booting into Download mode or Recovery. Other than that stickboy is right. If you have to, just go on YouTube and find a 4.4.2 root video tut if you feel you need it.

You said you can get download mode using a jig, right? What is your firmware/bootloader version? If the firmware is available you flash that with odin while in download mode.

If you still have access to download mode, make sure you repartition with correct pit file when you flash latest full factory image.
If it is a hard brick, then that's trickier. I have more experience with sprint s3 hard bricks, but check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549068
If you need JTAG, and don't have or care to invest in a box, I provide this service, along with many other hardware repair services, for a small fee. I could do it for $20 +S&H, same day turnaround (minus shipping time, of course). Pm me if you're interested, and I'll provide details.

He said he's able to get download mode using a jig, so i doubt a jtag service or that debrick method will be necessary. But that is a good offer.

i cannot flash any rom using odin i flashed a custom rom i think it is 4.4.3 ? Blekota s5 lite
Can you get into download mode? If you can, you could try flashing a custom recovery via Odin and then flash a custom ROM.
Just FYI, Odin is not for flashing roms. It's for flashing firmware (and the occasional recovery).
Also, your rom version has nothing to do with your base firmware/bootloader version. Need to know that to know what firmware you'd have to flash.
You can also try audit13's suggestion, but if the brick is due to problems with another partition it might not help. If everything is intact and it is ONLY a problem with the rom/kernel, it should work.

This is a no go.
Background:
Buddy was rooting his phone and thought his build was OB7 but apparently it is OE1. He loaded up TWRP (wiped everything w/out backing up) tried to flash a custom ROM, no go (it boot loops). He then tried to ODIN back OB7, no go, fails.
I searched for him and found a backup nandroid [email protected] . I inserted it in the TWRP folder and under backups and tried to restore, no go.
Question:
Is he stuck until and OE1 tar is available?
