Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP.

very clean rom and smooth but i cant change the name of the main user, and voice unlock doest work in smart lock and although i activate weather in status bar its doesnt appear
I agree ... its a very clean, smooth and stable ROM. I'm amazed how good this ROM work on my I9505. No problems so far for me.
What i don't like on the first view is that this ROM contains apps like
MoKeeMarket.apk
com.baidu.browser.apps.apk
MoKeeServices.apk
MoKeePay.apk
In case of security concerns ... here is an statement in official MoKee FAQ
Code:
[B]Q:[/B] Why are there so many Chinese apps? Will they steal my personal data?
[B]A:[/B] Well the Chinese apps are targeted at the China users as the ROM was based in China, it's useful to them
(think of MIUI, but has vanilla Android looks+open source+maintained by freelancers (MIUI is a company,
we are not though, we do this for free))...:D...We have no intention to steal your data, but if you still feel insecure,
you can uninstall most of them, or use Privacy Guard/disable them in Settings->Apps
(the same as freezing them with Titanium Backup, or even delete them from /system/app.
Any chance of some faster downloads? Any mirrors? Thanks

Less than 400 MB is not too much compared to TW roms. So, no need for mirror.
The rom is freaking fast and smooth!
I love it so far.

The size of the rom is irrelevant when its currently downloading at 30/50kbs >< and then always manages to cut off downloading half way through.
It seems that is a problem with your connection !
For me speed is fast and no interrupts.
If you want some mirrors why dont you host one
Now back to topic .....
First of all an exceptionally helpful comment from the dev their. In order to host the file I would have needed to download it first. Considering all I did was mention the download speed was slow, nothing insulting or whiney in there, you guys seems to have misinterpreted my intention for mentioning speed, such is life on the internet.
after about 40 minutes of making sure there were no interruptions the download got there in the end.
Anyway, the rom is running great so far. Fast and smooth, no errors as yet. No fc's. Battery seems pretty good too.
I'd be happy to provide mega link once I'm home and on my PC.
Cheers.

@der_Kief, thanks for your great rom. I would like to know if exfat is supported for all partitions (system, data, cache, SD) ?
... to avoid misunderstandings i have to clarify that im not a dev. Im just a satisfied MoKee user who want to bring it to XDA community !
Maybe you should look at Google+ for answers

Don't worry my friend. I am a satified user as well. I love Mokee roms. May be you can point me to the person I should ask permission to post the T-mobile s4 version here as my s4 is jfltetmo.
... after a few days of testing the release version of MoKee ROM i have to say that i'm impressed.
Totally stable, very good performance and battery friendly. In comparision with nightly versions of MoKee running xposed i come to the conclusion
that there is no real benefit of using moduls like Greenify, Amplify etc.
This is one of the best if not the BEST ROM i have ever used on my I9505. Now i dont feel the urge to update the ROM every day
So this ROM esp. the release version is fully recommended.
Good job MoKee team :good:

Thanks
@ZION959 for getting me started
@iurnait for [Guide]How to Compile PAC Rom
@Valera1978 for assistance with the device files for v1awifi
@osm0sis and @TKruzze for TK GAPPS (formerly PA GAPPS)
@Deltadroid for Delta GAPPS (these are recommended in the CM 12.1 thread)
@nubkiller1996 for testing and asking for it to begin with.
FAQ
It was pointed out by Valera that this build is for US variant only, as it uses the partitioning during the build process. They've outlined a process to make it more compatible. I'll give that a try on my next run.
7/24/15 - Build is now being created as files and not partitions in the ROM zip. This should make it compatible with most all variants.
-Root
You need to activate the developer settings menu and then enable root.
Settings > About Phone > Build number > Tap 7 times
Settings > Developer Options
-How often will this be updated?
I plan on weekly updates on Friday or Saturday mornings, unless there is a major fix; then I'll update it sooner. Being that this is beta that may happen pretty often.
-Are you a developer?
I am not a rom developer, the good people that make PAC-MAN make it fairly easy to build it. I got into it because the maintainer left the Sprint Note 3 and I really like running this rom. So I went and read how to do it myself. I now do unofficial builds for Note 3, S5 and now this device. The latter two for my nephew. I've always wanted to give back to the community so I share as much as I can.
How cool of you to do this for your nephew and the rest of the community, thanks!
Can you change that credit to TKruzze & osm0sis? He's still the GApps guru in charge.

Thanks for bringing another custom ro to this device! Does this rom have any major bug!? And another question! Does it have that horizontal lines in task switcher like cm 12.1? Thnaks.
Sent from my SM-P901
Is the link broken I'm sure the ROM is bigger than 16kb

I don't have the device, my nephew does. He hasn't reported anything so far. He has only been running it about a day though.
As you may be aware PAC-MAN is CM based so its quite possible that CM bugs are brought over.

Hello,

This ROM supports USB devices ethernet?

I have to admit I really don't know.
If CM 12.1 supports it then it should because this ROM is based on it.
My only advice would be to backup and give it a whirl.
I should have a more compatible European device build soon, @Valera1978 is graciously assisting me with this process.
Stay tuned
Update 7/24/15
Getting back on schedule. :highfive:

I've built this zip using @Valera1978's suggestion so that it doesn't restrain it to just US variants of this device.
Please let me know how it goes.
This ROM will be updated every Friday or Saturday morning

Yep, any chance to port it? Also, I think that Note 3 (N9005) has pretty much the same spec than P905, and it has CM12.1.. since is the same hardware, you could use the ported N9005 rom maybe..
First of all thanks dev for this great ROM, the best thing that has happened to my Note, Great performance and terrific battery life, taken to the test on my field job and everything sound and clean, so thanks! Only thing I can not get to work is the side appbar to bring selected apps in floating mode, in my note 3 with exactly the same setup and also in cm12.1 works pretty well, (no xposed modules like xmultiwindow or xfloat enabled nor halo installed) but maybe I´m missing something here. When I longpress an app on the sidebar nothing happens, and a single click in the selected app will open fullscreen. A quick google search couldn´t help me at all so kindly asking for some enlightment
Thanks again for the ROM, kind regards!

Don't waste your time with Blackjubel ROMs.
He is a king for building them 2 or 3 times and then don't maintain it anymore...
He doesn't even bother to answer questions.
The only one he seems reliable with is Resurrection Remix.

Not true! Most of his builds are made when there's substantial changes in the ROM's source.
Time will tell.
Check his history and you'll see how many roms he built and don't maintain anymore...
Btw I don't want to start an argument so believe what you want.
Thanks Blackjubel for bringing another quality rom to the G4! =)

This is a KylessPAC project
Being that stuff needed to build working KitKat rom for our devices (kylessopen) @kengnatural and I came to an idea to open one github organization were we will store everything we need to build this ROM, so future devs who are interested in helping out or developing, do not have to struggle with compiling and development of this ROM!.
Who are KylessPAC
Right now only @kengnatural and I are part of KylessPAC team, but anyone who is willing to contribute and to make ROMs for Kylessopen better, is free and encouraged to join! This device still has some life in it,so why not play and learn with it?
KylessPAC location
All stuff needed by PAC-Rom building for S756x devices (kylessopen) can be found here https://github.com/KylessPAC

Thats the usual issue,
Ill look at the log,but I doubt Ill fix it since I kinda hate onetime inits.
TO OTHERS THAT USE GAPPS:
FIRST FLASH ROM,THEN BOOT IT UP AND SET IT UP,AFTER THAT GO BACK TO RECOVERY AND FLASH GAPPS.
IF YOU DONT DO IT LIKE THIS YOU WILL HAVE TO REFLASH EVERYTHING .
I DONT USE GAPPS SO DONT ASK ME THINGS ABOUT IT.

hmm.. I was using xxlj3 modem on the moment I told you ril is finally fixed but really buggy, then I switched to xxbjm1 and that's where it became stable.
Modem-baseband plays a roll when it comes to wifi-RIL stuff.
When you flash cusrom ROM you don't flash modem,as modem is on different partition and its recommended never to switch your modem, use one you've got with phone (your stock rom).
If you do mess up modem, jus download your stock rom and flash it via Odin/Heimdall and youll be a-okay

XOS is a new generation Android-based cutting-edge OS based on the Android Open Source Project
What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating
performance on your mobile device while still maintaining a sufficient feature
base of nice, small and minimal features that would not be available via any
external feature base, extension, mod or plugin.
We hope you have a truly halogenified experience!
Internals of XOS
At core, the ROM is composed mainly of components from the
Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and small parts from Code Aurora Forum (CAF) necessary,
with extremely minor set of components from LineageOS (LaOS or LN) which
have been added to source in order to allow for better cross-device compatibility.
Our LOVE to others
A huge thanks goes to those behind the AOSP and CAF, the LineageOS Project, AOSiP and many others including all of its
contributors for the sources used in the development of the base ROM which we
started with inclusive of all the work and dedication their team puts in order to
keep us updated on the awesome contributions that they make.
We will be keen on ensuring that we be up to date with the code from our base sources,
with regular ROM updates hopefully coming from time to time.
Please do not ask for ETA's (else you shall be spooked by Mr Skeltal). Almost all of us are
students, and with the current lifestyles and routines we have, it is not that easy to acquire
time to develop the ROM, though we'll be sure to keep you updated and release OTAs as
soon as they are available and ready for publication. If you want to be really updated quick,
then join us on Telegram: http://telegram.me/halogenos
Visit our website for features such as: Downloads, Information etc.
https://halogenos.org
Although no data should be lost or damaged by the flashing process,
we advise you to follow the following steps if you are coming from another ROM:
Code:
* Please take a full [I]Nandroid[/I] backup!
* Please copy your back up to an external device.
* Back up your [I]Internal Storage[/I]
* When completed, [I]clean flash[/I] the build (format using fastboot --wipe-and-use-fbe if your device supports FBE)
Although you usually can dirty flash halogenOS over other ROMs, considering the other
ROM is built upon the same Android version, it is not guaranteed to work.
In case of performance issues or crashes please do a clean flash.
Overall as a ROM, XOS is very stable. Our mission statement has always been of maintaining a clean and properly maintained ROM.
We take proper priority with ensuring that performance and stability are put first, features are considered an extra topping on the cake.

Installing for the first time
Code:
* Download the current version of XOS for your device.
* Reboot into a compatible Android Recovery solution. (We recommend TWRP)
* Wipe [B]'/system' & '/cache'[/B], [B][U]FORMAT[/U] /data preferably using fastboot --wipe-and-use-fbe (You will lose all your data incl. internal storage)[/B].
[I](Optional: For `Dirty Flash`, do not wipe [b]anything[/b])[/I]
* Select the appropriate ROM zip and flash the current ROM build.
* Want Google Apps? Obtain and flash the latest GApps from http://opengapps.org/
* Flash any other system modifications you may want
* Reboot.
Manually updating the ROM
XOS ships with an OTA updater built-in (soon) which should automate the downloading and flashing process,
however should your wish be to manually update the ROM, you should be our guest.
Code:
* Download the current version of XOS for your device.
* Reboot into a compatible Android Recovery solution. (Note: We recommend TWRP)
* [b]Please do not[/b] wipe anything, including Cache/Dalvik/ART, the ROM has you covered.
* Select the appropriate ROM zip and flash the current ROM build.
* Reflash any system modifications that do not survive updated (everything that is not addon.d-capable)
* Reboot.
You do not need to wipe Cache/Dalvik.
You do not need to flash Google Apps again*.
You do not need more than 5 minutes.
* Just make sure that you don't wipe system before flashing.
Tested compatibility
Although following things are compatible with halogenOS, we do not provide direct support for it.
Compatible additions are:
ViPER4Android

Is camera with working EIS on 4k recording, like on OOS 4.5.7? Tnx

Camera is really slow. Not sure if it was tested, but it took 2-3 seconds to take a photo.. is it normal ? or just on my end ?
Also I must add that, although it looked like the Oneplus5 camera, the portrait option was missing

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you’d ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they’re “baked in” by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone’s settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

Stable doesn't pass SafetyNet. This being unofficial, I'm not worried about undesireable questions.
hi, just want to know update schedule for this ROM?
I'm hoping for monthly security updates and also bug fixes. Thinking about switching from RR unofficial ROM.
thank you!
Thank you AOKP Team! I think this is where my ROM flashing ends for now. Very very solid build. Best I've tasted so far. I must commend the team! I can feel the work that you guys put into this ROM! Awesome!! ✌?

The devs haven't updated anything on github in about six days, so I'm not sure if that means they're done with Nougat or just pausing before a new release. If they update it, I'll build a new version.

This will be getting official support soon...
I've been waiting for a good build of this rom on a number of my devices so I'm glad to see I finally get it and on my main device! Thanks for the work! Lots of great builds for this device the only issue with some seems to be the upkeep. Nice to see it's going official on top of the already solid builds you've produced. Thanks again!
Its a very good and stable rom. Thanks for bringing to our device. Btw adding fingerprint without screenpin crashes settings.

Working fine for me thks,
Working fine too with kiw21.
Few bugs, dont know if branch N still maintened:
- no icon toggle brightness on QS
- no header static selected on QS
- no fast activation of LTE on QS not expanded.
Can give logs if it can be corrected otherwise not a big deal
