Try using an usb ethernet adapter and let us know if it works.

I cannot connect to adhoc networks i create through Laptop running windows 7. I have searched a lot and replaced the wpa_supplicant file. But after replacing the Wifi Scanner stops working. So I restored the old version. Please if anyone of you have the wpa_supplicant for GT i5510 please do share it here. I need it urgently.

No solution works for Samsung Galaxy 551. Anyone knows how to modify the file and post it here please. This model cannot connect to adhoc networks.

has anyone managed using an external wifi adapter such as the one mentioned above for using with nethunter?
I don't know whether my kernel is not supporting monitor-mode nor itś when plugging in the TL-WN722N the only option to choose is 'charge device' - I'm running on RR-7, did anybody already face the problem and was able to fix it?

1st of all you should look here instead of posting in none device forum.
When asking there more info would be useful like TWRP version, LOS version aso.
I don't understand what you mean with "of average use".
