hello folks.. can somebody help me how to root my android phone by step by step... what app will I install first or download. I wanted to root it to 4.2 or kitkat but I dont know how. Pls guide me thanks a lot. ))) I uploaded screenshot for my phone info.
You went through the process of writing a new thread and uploading a screenshot whereas you could've just used the search function in the upper right corner... seek and ye shall find!
Only rooting won't help. You will have to unlock bootloader if you want a ROM beyond ICS.

for update to JB or KK ROM you must unclockboot loader first, you can find your answer in this link http://xperiafirmware.com/8-firmware/15-sony-ericsson-xperia-arc-s-lt18

I have nokia xl i rooted my device yesterday and i want to flash a kikat rom on it but i don't know how to do it so i try to post here. please help me guys i'm new here. I really want a kitkat rom i saw the latest update here by @akshaygalaxystarmod i want to flash it but i really don't so please help me guys i don't want to brick my one and only phone.
