so i got this lg phone ,its lg ls980 thats what im sure about
now when i go to software information or when i connect to lg support tools it says i have ls980 ZVD
i downloaded a ZVD to ZVE ADB to sideload ,
but it didn't and it says because my software is ls980 ZVC !! its even written on the top when i enter recovery mode
what shall i do to get ZVE (then ZVG )
shall i download and flash a stock ZVE ?
but i think the phone is unlocked as im outside USA ,so will it be locked if i got the ZVE or ZVG ?
please i need your help and i dont know much about these things

I'm also on ZVD. I want to upgrade to ZVG to get on the lollipop roms. The information on the site is spare and I have no idea how to do certain things. I need help. TOT to ZVE? Makes no sense to me. Someone please help.

i just buy a lg g2 sprint and the guy who sell me the cell told me that it was unlocked and it was cause im using it with my telcel sim card in mexico but i just find out that it has a custom rom call rayglobe flex 3.5 android 4.2.2 , and i just found out that sprint cannot be unlocked by code and i found a way to get it simunlock , i want to update to 4.4.2 for that i need to return to stock
i follow instructions exactly i download tot and dll for ls980 but my phone says that is a d802 but the back of my phone says ls980 and is a sprint version but my phone says d802 so when i try to use lgflashtool everything go ok but after waiting for conection says wrong model number or check dll
and i cant return it to stock is there a way to change model number so lgflashtool can be use ?
and kind of new to custom roms and root and stuff
i have twrp recovery
or is there like a custom rom that i could flash without loosing my simunlock?

LG G3 cat6 F460k model. hi guys. I just received a brand new F460k and i am not able to update it to lollipop. When i go into update center and then phone version update, after clicking on check now for update, it gives me an error "update service is limited. Please contact lg service center". I am currently downloading the lg pc suite. I have attached the software information. Also, I put up in India and I don't know whether that's the problem as my G3 is Korean variant.
Also lg pc suite, but it gives this error "cannot run upgrade. Check phone status and retry". Is something wrong with my device?

These are all LG Korean refurbished phones.. But they don't support it and not licensed to sell in korea. That's why e-commerce sites selling these phones with deep discount. But I wonder can I able to flash lollipop kdz file manually. If I do so will it affect SIM lock or SIM network read issue?
It's going to download mode when pressing volume up button while turning on and I downloaded lollipop kdz for f460k. Can I go-ahead and flash it. Or it will give boot up or hard brick. It isolleh . Thank you.
Flashed F460k v20c kdz lollipop everything fine and i rooted using one click root.Is there any custom rom available for lollipop as of now. Or i will downgrade to kitKat by flashing kdz and root and recovery andis there any lollipop custom rom available from stock kitkat. And by the way still automatic download not working same error when checking for new updates. Planning to go back to kitkat stock and install any custom lollipop rom available.. Olleh is having annoying bloatwares in korean language to get rid only i need to go custom rom.
Hello brothers i have ls990 having kitkat zv6 on it but it doesnt have root.i flash stock zv8,zv4 but it fails and says these are not d855 files.it shows d855 in about phone but ls990 in recovery.npt able to downgrade and not able to root because i am on zv6 i tries one click root,purple method,kingo root but all are fail.i want to root my phone and inatall custom rom in it please help me.

My Phone Cant root, no network and bootloader locked, but still can use download mode. i tired try many rom on marshmallow and lolipoop but the problems still same. i want to flash back to kitkat. please share to me the file.

recently i purchased and refurbished lg lg3 within setting i could se it was D855 but on body it was D850
so i thoguhts its D855 because software it was running was D855 but then i flashed D855 firmware to update it and it is soft bricked i direct goes to download mode and nothing works
I took it to a shop he tried sevelar firmware at once i got it boot up but no camera wifi no modem, so it was not the correct one,
So is thier a way i can get it working?
How could i figure it is sprint at&t or verzion??? because it was an cdma set,
Cm13 or stock rom anything could work for me

I you are able to access download mode, try and flash the latest marshmallow KDZ for D855. My device also has D850 on the back but it has the D855 software.

First open up your phone,exact model will be on the board.then flash accordingly software.

I know already tried But it was D855 already tried n that caused soft bricking....
