anyone know how to install htc stock camera app in carbon rom ,,,,,,, the camera app in carbon rom is not that good , in play store it says that this app is not compatible with this device when trying to install htc camera , that app was well optimised for 816 i wish there is a way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please help

CM12 has or had(?) the same problem. Someone was trying to get the stock camera app to work with CM12. When I tried it a few months ago it didn't work. Check, I think, in the 816 accessories forum.
In CyanogenMod HTC camera can be download from play store ,, but in carbon ROM cannot

how do you overcome this? if i need to flash custom rom which one do you recommend?

Try to factory reset.....for custom roms you can check all which fulfills your needs....

Well, I have this problem too. How many contacts in your phonebook? Large numbers of contact may slow down.
Best thing is to root your phone and replace contact/phone app with stock ICS. Much better performance on phonebook.
I tried so many things with different roms. IMHO, the stock contact/phone app work much faster than the sense apps (used in CM9 rom).
Now, I'm back to sense rom (MyOneV v5) but I replace only contact app. Use the one from this.

hi , first of all m thankful to xda through which i was able to root my ph and flash it with cm9 and cm10 , but can anyone help me out to how to go back to ginger bread , reasons for degrading are ,that this rom doesnt had playstore or any google main functional apps lik maps mail navigation etc. , i would be very greatful if anyone helps me out for the solutionhow to resolvethese issue , also my ph start lagging and hardly any other app then whatsapp was able to run smoothly

Your probably better off trying to flash a gingerbread sense rom, returning to stock is a pain in the arse pal. Check the dev section, also you need to flash GAPPS with cm9/10 to have the Google Apps they should also be in the dev thread you got the rom from, right below the rom download flash gapps and see how you like it, then try return to stock if you still don't

I've tried some MotoCam versions I've found, but there is no 100% compatible Camera. Does anyone know a fully-working version?

yeah, mine slow mo doesnt work as well,i not sure if got dev working on this.
But stock camera do me just fine,i thk slowmo are under utilize anyway.
after a few test, yeah, stock cam does good work, even without slowmoution, but i hope they can fix it
I'm skateboarder, and so it would be a nice little highlight for me

I have a problem with my HTC ONE X. I have a cm11 official ROM Kitkat 4.4.2 and the Stock Camera of Google that doesn't work very well. I would to replace it with this camera, but I flash it from the recovery, the program confirm that the istallation is done... BUT I'm not able to make it WORK!! The app start and CRASH Instantly! (The app is stopped abnormally) PLEASE HELP ME, I've just start to understand the WORLD of XDA! Thanks a lot!

So far i know this camera isn't for the HTC One X...
I think it works only on Motorola devices

I have just updated to the lastest CM nightly 11-20140606-NIGHTLY-falcon and it is now at Android version 4.4.3. I'm wondering if it's safe to flash this Motorola Camera package from 4.4.2

Do anybody have any idea about the any custom rom for galaxy grand i9082 that includes all the official features of 4.2.2 JB (i mean no missing functionality or features like No dual sim support, No Radio etc)

Radio issue is common in all custom roms and to use dual sim functionality you can use cosmic cm v3 for good performance (if camera crashes while video recording you can use google camera instead of stock one)

while searching through the google i came up with some Gennext custom rom n i think its also developed by some XDA fellow.. any idea about it i mean is there any issues with this one too

yeah it is a good rom ( Gennext custom rom is not updated since november last year ) but it based on 4.2.2 JB which means it only supports JB functions . if you really want to use JB rom for good performance you can check PyramiD V2 and *TouchWiz Revolution* V2[Stock 4.2.2]....

Hey guys.. ihv been trying to download the 4.2.2 BMK3 firmware for my gallaxy grand from sammobile and from other websites too but aftr 8t gets downloaded that zip file and on trying to unzip it didnt open and giving n error that file is corrupt or file contIning virus..
I tried this 3 to4 times from diff websites but faces same prob with the file downloaded from all of those sites..
Any suggestions.?

Well, I tried it on Carbon ROM and it keeps crashing everytime I open it.
it crashes because cm does not have motorola framework for the app to work.
