This ROM is based of AOSP
As it is AOSP it has next to no extra features but it is very smooth. In this ROM everything should work. HDMI, Radio, and no pause when recording.

Is this ROM faster than Carbon ROM? Carbon is the best KK ROM so far but I'd like to give a shot to AOSP ROM.

I think 2nd version is not yet uploaded. @kin912 will surely update the link when its done. Till then u can use version 1.
Flash this only if u have unlocked bootloader.
Reboot to recovery. Wipe data factory reset. Wipe cache and dalvik cache. Flash the ROM. Flash gapps and reboot.

I have not installed the ROM yet but will try it out tonight.

I have flashed the rom. But i can not access Mobile Network, i set up manually but no working. Bluetooth as notice no working too for 1st version.
Can anyone help me on Mobile Network ?

I had installed the rom. Very smooth but mobile data can not connect... 3G is important to me so i have to switch the previous rom. . If you can fix the issue, i will appreciate that. Thanks

I just downloaded successfully but the speed was so horrible from opera browser..
 @kin912 thanks for your hard work and here are some comments on your aosp rom
1)The rom is smooth and no lag at all..
2)It is simple and the user interface is preety just like cm..
3)Bluetooth is not working at all..it doesnot want to get open..
4)And what I feel missing is cyanogenmod like theme engine..
Lastly @kin912 plz port cyanogenmod 4.4.4 milestone 10 and latest paranoid too ..coz you are only the one left with us who has ability to develop something new for ion..:good::good:

FAQ
Sometimes, RAM Usage is quite high, why is that?
That's normal. MIUI's RAM usage is high but very stable.
How to enable Developer options?
Go to About Phone, Tap MIUI Version 7 times. Then Go to Additional Settings, you can find it there.
ROM sometimes stutters, why?
Remember that this ROM is still in BETA. But you can try to restart to see if stuttering is gone.
How to go to Recent Apps?
Press the rightmost button (Recents Button) on your phone.
How to edit Home?
Pinch the screen on Home.
When will this be on Stable version?
I don't know, when RED Kat releases an update, rest assured that I will update this too.
My app is being killed after I press Cleaner on Recent Apps, why?
Please follow this. Go to Security > Cleaner > Packages > Select the app that you want to add to Exceptions (a menu below that app should appear) > Tap Exception. You're good to go!
Do we have Xposed for MIUI V6?

Battery not optimized, any solution?

Update:
Fixed almost all bugs but it has one nasty bug, it removes the recovery and you can't install a recovery after installation. If you flash this and wish to go back to your old ROM, you have to flash recovery via fastboot. I will find a way to fix this.

but Sir, can u please tell us how many of below bugs have been fixed till now... (these are the bugs, which are already mentioned above by you):-
1. Some stuttering when navigating around.

Just post it bro...i already tried to port two month ago...but also face automatic remove recovery bug..so not posted in forum...if the all things r working properly then post it..

Guess we get the same message with the rom from Chris too.

Update:
Started from scratch, it goes on bootloop but does not wipe recovery anymore. Yay!

It's working now. Will post it in a couple of days.

For launcher problem install nova launcher... Default keyboard only will have 4 languages if you want more install any other keyboard from play store:good:

Thank you for the port. Appreciate your efforts.
I was however unable to use it as it doesnt detect vodafone india network, tried replacing the modem, but no go. But overall the ROM has a very smooth feel. Even blink manager worked for me

ROM is good and smooth, thanks a lot.
Please note you need to flash the Boot patch also, otherwise camera looks dark and doesnt work.
Modem zip doesn't improve the network, rather the modem can be replaced in etc/firmware from the below post, this works good (i am on Voda Mumbai and Airtel Mumbai network)

The in-call volume is low, pls fix this. Will flashing any sound patch like Dolby Atmos or Viper or Boombox help this, or this need to be changes in Engineering Mode

Thank you for the network patch... the one, i referred worked well with my device as theres descrepancy with devices when i used miui rom where
i didnt get any network but jayadev got which was our debate for a while.
Your modem pointer also works well for me, but that url needs to be checked.
I need someone to look at the engineer mode and report to us so that all of us can be benefitted.
I, first booted without the bootpatch, because the source rom is different compared to the ones I have used so far.

I Changed Modem.img Before Flashing Rom And Net Work Also Very Nice and Full Stable...
Before also I changed modem.img in mystic os, note 4, and in all roms which do not have network stability all suppoted and working fine
Very Happy to use this rom perfectly after colorsus...

as me, jayadev, rishi, rubal, (vikas) have been testing this for a week now and fully convinced to release this... Post #1 needs to be changed a bit and planning
to add some little surprises in the near future...

Dear All,
FYIP, I have tried both ver0.8 and 0.9 patches on some other ROMs and both have the battery charging issues. So the best way is to flash the boot patch by Dani again to reverse (auto-rotation will not work though but battery charging issue will be solved). I think Gurus have to look in to it and make a new auto-rotation patch without a battery charging problem.
Please all Gurus, consider this as a kind request and do the needful at ur end.

the rom is too smooth and fast and network also fully stable both 3g n 2g..
overall performances is osm :good:.. only sometime stetting stop unfortunately and google camera not work..
once again big thanx sr..for such wonderful beautifully n osm rom..:good:

unzip this folder.. n replace framework folder with this framework folder for best network stability and then flash the rom...
System -> Etc -> "Framework"
this framework folder works with all roms for best network stability both 3g and 2g network...
try it n report..
