What's the difference between the brightness with the "C" and the one without?

There are 3 preset settings of 0%, 50% and 90%. The "C" is your custom setting. They are all manual for when auto is disabled. BTW, auto on this phone completely blows. This is the first phone where I have to manually set the brightness. Auto only seems to want to set the brightness to 0%.
Edit, I just realized that setting the light slightly affects the light output on auto too. The same still stands. "C" is for a custom setting. I'll try %100 to see if it helps me.

Good catch I never noticed. but like the above poster mentioned just clicking on the c icon will change it to set intervals. IE 25 50 100.

A Hoard of Faults

So, up until today my One X has been free (apparently) from any faults or glitches.
However today, the screen looked like a giant bar code (until I touched the screen again) - after displaying the same image of text for about five minutes. The screen also occasionally had a slim 'wavy' like line at the side of the screen - is this that 'screen flickering' issue? Then I went on to battery stats and I have the weird line where it hasn't reset after charging and instead appears to have magically recharged since last being plugged in (when actually, I had the phone charging while turned off).
Has there been any fixes for these, or is it a hardware issue?

ABC Brightness

Hello!
Not long ago became the owner of HTC One X phone. Very much, it is very happy.
But faced that brightness of the screen the very big. Therefore wrote the small program for fast change of brightness of the screen.
Probably the program will be pleasant also to you. The program is available free of charge on Google Play.
In the program:
Complete synchronization with settings of brightness of HTC One X.
There is no advertizing.
Only necessary permissions for program work.
I installed myself a label on the bottom panel of the main screen, for fast access.

Totally different place on the HCT7 software.
It's under Settings -> CAR -> Extra Settings -> "Brightness Mode" (change to Dark).
On the default setting, unit will automatically switch to Dark when you turn on headlights. I change it to Dark to keep it always Dark because that's what I prefer. Display brightness will still change with headlights on/off regardless of what this is set to.

Question How to change the charging limit from 85 % ?

Any way to set the charging limit without root to say 90% from the preset 85 %?
If you are trying to charge up to 90% instead of calling at 85% is too sweet a bixby routine to stop taking a charge at 90% and your will be good.
i'm still playing around with bixby routines. at the moment, i'm using the app battery charge notifier, set the bat max with notification at 90.
I've made this in routines and it works nicely it stops at 99 and when I usually wake up at 8 it's topped up and didn't charge the whole night
