[ROM][4.1.2][AOSP] LANIGHT (Project eXtreme Butter) [v8.5] *As stable as you want it*

This is it folks. If you think you've seen fast, you're in for a surprise! Please NO derivative work without permission. This rom is originally built for captivate. Here's the link.
LANIGHT is a pure AOSP build, meaning it is NOT CM or built from CM source, so please do NOT ask for CM features. However, it does use device/hardware files from CM10 and rest from Nexus S.. so any device specific problems that is in CM may or may not be in LANIGHT. If you don't like AOSP, move on.

INSTALLATION (FOR DATADATA)
Recommended flash procedure
[*]Keep a copy of efs folder for security
[*]Reboot into recovery
[*]Make a nand backup before you proceed
[*]Wipe data/ factory reset
[*]mount and storage -> Wipe System/cache/data/datadata
[*]Wipe cache/ cache partition
[*]Advanced -> Wipe dalvik cache
[*]Wipe voltage cache (If the option is given)
[*]devil -> run clean NStools options
[*]devil -> run clean init.d directory
[*]install rom zip from sdcard
[*]install rom zip once again if it boots you back in recovery (It's flashing kernel/recovery/partition)

Yes, ofcourse. File is uploading. Though the initial version is missing Face Unlock(Cappy don't use it). Only the i9000 link will work. DO NOT FLASH CAPTIVATE ZIP.

First of all, thank you. I've been waiting for an AOSP rom.
A few questions...
1. I know you wrote about the partitions but I don't really understand - are those the partitions used by CM10 nowdays, the ones before, or the very old ones that had all the "low storage notification" (the same I believe are used still in CM9)?
2. In features you wrote - KC1 Modem(datadata) & JVT(nodatadata). What do modems have to do with partitions?
3. Why is there a need to wipe data 3 times? If I come from GB stock rom, will I have to do this as well?
4. Will you integrate the wifi/lagfix and tv-out patches into the rom or will we have to flash it everytime we flash this rom? (meaning everytime we flash a new version)

Its very subjective but its perfect for me. Better then GB. Again your mileage may vary.

I just read some of the original post in the Captivate section and saw in the second post (about the battery life) that you can try to toggle fast dormancy. Do you know if its possible to do in JB? I know its possible in GB with a secret code in the dialer.

Wipe after flashing the ROM. You will get new twrp after flashing this rom

but my problem is when I install some games, it just take about 400mb+ of internal memory, then i tried install some app it says insufficient memory,,

Install:
1. extract the gapps somehwhere, copy the extracted gapps zip + the txt file to the device
2. format data partition to f2fs in TWRP the perform a Full wipe using TWRP (and I mean full wipe! system, data, cache etc)
3. Install ROM
4. Install attached gapps (other gapps may cause heavy slowdowns and/or failure due to lack of space, this gapps removes most of the bloat including browser, camera, wallpapers and more and leaves core apps alone), this WILL take a while, permissions needs to be fixed so for now its slow, if you can't wait you can force reboot when it tries to set permissions, but i'd wait to avoid issues
5. reboot and wait, it takes a long time to boot and once it does its very slow the first time so be patient
6. recommended: set overclock to 1400 mhz and minimum to 200 to avoid some of the lag, also reboot after setup is complete to clear some memory that wizard uses and caches

look catalog /lib, and many files was exchanged with android 4.4 for better performance, some applications can need 6.0+ can not working.

Yeah DeskClock.apk Gallery2.apk LatinIME.apk as well as libjni_latinime.so are different, that's funny that apks from 4.4 work actually better than the one of 6.0.
Anyway it would be great if you provide a clear changelog of what you did

For people who want a custom kernel with this rom I adapted the SideCore kernel from @side
Download here . Just flash it with TWRP Recovery.
To tweak this kernel I recommend you to download "Kernel Adiutor" from PlayStore or f-droid.

this rom is really a maximum I got yesterday to do the installation and this everything perfect I tested many roms plus none equal to this low battery consumption good performance rom incredible

I just tested and I don't have any problem with GPS

hello this rom and more use it my favorite battery performance ok everything parabens for your work plus you would indicate me some audio mode for this rom because the audio of her and bass both in the handset and speaker already tried the viper4android if without success thank you and this audio fix does not taste much, the sound is still low

- Flash a custom kernel
- Install Busybox
- Switch off AudioFX
- Install Viper4Android

It is fimwareless but in the web you can find the firmware to flash, this firmware is arb free in all devices. Magisk Works well

Do you have any magisk module loaded? Which version? running butter smooth here with magisk 16.7

with the firmware in the OP the phone is stuck in a bootloop

no module, just only clean root cause lag.
I root with latest stable magisk version 17.1
my step is
1. flash rom
2. firmware
3. magisk
4. wipe cache and dalvik
5. boot to system

I was on Miui MS and wiped system, cache and Dalvik.
Installed RevOs and booted..
After first boot I went to recovery again and flashed magisk 17.1
After this boot again, it took more time than first ROM boot.
When it booted it was very laggy, so I waited a minute and restart.
After that it's working fine, no lag till now.

Can i directly flash it? I'm from syberia rom. I will do clean flash, is there any conflicts?

from a different rom,always need clean flash..
conflicts?? ... Ofcourse no, if you do right installation
(better & before you flash it, read carefully FAQ etc)

Miui MS had much better battery then this one.
Unfortunately MS doesn't have multilanguage.
