I can't seem to find it . I went to alarms and the 3 periods settings does not show it. Under Timer settings I see alarm volume but that is only for timers. I lowered the sound profiles and it still blares in the morning.
Under Sounds and Notification it seems to be only for app notification settings. I"m using Tmobile H811 phone.
You change it when you are setting the time of your alarm. It could be clearer.

Its under alarm.. Go to the bottom of the edit alarm screen.. You can set different volumes per each alarm instead of one for all..

OK thaks. When I view the screen I see the days of the week and it didn't look like there were options underneath it and the cancel save threw me off thinking it was the bottom of the screen. I do notice it takes a few tries of swiping up to see the options. Thanks again. My wife was driving me nuts since it was full blast at 5:30 in the morning. Thanks again.

Hi Guys, I am trying to remove the notification for battery full. I charge overnight and when the battery is full it vibrates like an id.ot, waking me up most of the times!
There was a thread but now it`s obsolete... Come on, can it be that there`s no easy fix for this? I even googled, but pointlessly!
Thanks
It's not ideal but I just set the notifications ringtone to silent in the main settings menu and then set proper notifications separately in messaging, gmail, etc.

I would like to know too... That wake me every time. I dont want to put on silent since I want SMS and cakk to wake me.
Thanks all but I wish there was a better solution. Can it be that there`s no hidden flag in the system configuration?
My current solution is to put the phone on a soft thing so it doesn`t wake me up...
Settings > Sounds > Notification sound
Set it to Nothing
Freely translated from Dutch
Oh, and I can set SMS Notification to something else than "Default" (since Default is now "Silence")... pretty nice!
Thanks for the idea HaTeNL!

If you don't want it to vibrate in silent mode then just change your vibration settings to not vibrate in silent mode......

Silent Sleep App works for me.

Any luck with solving this?

Solved:
One just need to additionally deactivate the vibration, either from the settings menu, set it to never vibrate or only when not in silent mode, or with an extra widget like one of the many available in the market.
Enjoy!

i downloaded the app timeriffic from the market and that made two profiles.
one, from 22.00 to 06.00 with no vibration and message sound disabled and the other one from 06.00 to 22.00 with vibration and message sound enabled.
works fine.
That's fine when the phone is on but when's off it stills vibrates.
I scheduled the phone to shutdown every night at 23.00h. Sometimes, I charge at home during the night. Even if the phone is downstairs, I can still hear the notification vibration repeating itself over and over again.
The solution is to put the phone on a non-vibrating surface (usually the same USB cable used for charging the phone)
I used "droidessentials" .. uncheck the "Alert When battery full".
The Apps state it won't work with Samsung devices.
Tonight I will try..

It has to work! The first option in the notification sound thing is "Silent" (translated).
Put it off Silent Mode and then change the notification sound. Must work.
Hey guys, wasn't here on these forums a thread of someone that did an app or mod just to remove the battery full sound??
I have read that once there was it!!!
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not, I've tried a ton of different combinations, but the snooze function isn't working. The alarm goes off as it's supposed to and I slide the snooze tab over, but the alarm never goes off again. Am I doing something wrong or is anybody else having this issue?
how long did you set the configuration for the snooze?
also check the ring tone/music selected for snooze or alarm
Mine was doing something weird this morning, but I am kinda like a zombie in the morning so I don't remember to much of what it was doing.
I know i shouldn't have put it on the 3 snooze selection. lol

I tried mine this morning but forgot to set the snooze option. I fumbled for it and hit something and it dismissed the alarm.
I'm going to set it with snooze for tomorrow and see what happens. The little bar on the bottom snoozes it or dismisses it?
Tried it this morning with no issues. Set snooze to 5 mins. Hit it like 3 times before i decided to get up.

Well, after some more testing, it seems the 10 minute snooze option isn't working. 3 & 5 minute options work fine. Strange.

The bar on the left dismisses, the one on the right snoozes.

I'd like to set it for 10 minutes, snooze 3 times
Under settings / sound / volumes. I have "use ringer volume for notifications" un-checked, but whenever I make a change to either one, they both change. It's really annoying as I don't want to be woken up at night just because someone texted or emailed me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Just to add... I can move the sliders independently, but as soon as I tap "done" and use the volume button to change volumes or go back into settings the ringer and notification sliders are matched up again. I'm on stock ,s-off, unlocked.
Why don't you just use the 'do not disturb' switch or set the profile to 'silent'?

because I still need the phone to ring during the night. Also during the day I keep the ringer volume at full, but having notifications at full vol gets annoying pretty quick. I just want to know if HTC has tied them together even tho that particular box is uncheked.
No, it works ok here.

I don't know why it doesn't seperate the two, it works fine on my phone, but the Do not disturb isn't such a bad idea.
If you need it to ring during the night(For whatever reason, emergency?) why not add the numbers allowed to call you during the DnD period to the exception list, that way it'll ring through even if you have DnD on?
Hey Everyone
Have another question here...is there any way to make the alarm clock on my LG G3 set off the vibrate on my SW3? Basically want it to vibrate as my phones alarm goes off to wake me up! Ha.

I use Sleep as Android and it'll do exactly what you're looking for - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep&hl=en
I've got mine set up to just buzz my watch first, then a failsafe that goes off on my watch and phone.
Ooooo looks brilliant!!! Do all the other features like sleep tracking etc drain the battery much then?

It used to drain your battery totally, but dev recently got it working excellent instead.
Now our sw3 is one of the most battery efficient watch
To run the app on, battery "drains" around 17% over night, which is great since it various sensors are being used.
Regarding vibration on the watch in general: I think it's as easy as, if an app generates vibration alerts on your phone, it'll generate these on the watch too.

Ooooo brilliant! Thanks for the info I'll give it a shot over the weekend then when I've had time to mess with all the settings, annoying though as I like using timely and would really just like it to vibrate my watch...

I just got the SW3 yesterday. I'm trying to get my alarms to sync, found this an tried Sleep as Android. However, it seems no matter what settings I use, my watch only buzzes once very briefly for the alarm while it goes off as normal on my phone. As if just a notification that an alarm is going off. Is this just how it works? Any ideas?
I followed the "instruction" chapter on wearables to enable Smartwatch in the app and enabled the vibration (Smartwatch) from start option, but I can't find any other real set up options or instructions.

I made two alarms - One with the phone vibrating / making noise, and the watch vibrating, then one set ~5 min before that, set to silent, and disabled vibration (so the phone does nothing), and set the Vibrate (Smartwatch) to "From start" as well.
When the first alarm goes off, mine buzzes once briefly at the time of the alarm, and then once again maybe 30 seconds later, then it starts getting more frequent after that. When I just went to check what my settings were, I also noticed there's an option to start the watch vibration "before" the alarm - though I'm not sure how much before the alarm "before" is, since it doesn't seem to be configurable, but that may alleviate my use of two alarms.
Hope that helps!
Official Clock app from Google
now u can install on any android and the alarm appear on smartwatch , to dismiss or postpone
Every time I turn on and restart my Note 10 + once it's booted or plays my notification sound. How do I stop this? I don't think our ever happened when I bought it a couple weeks ago. I've factory reset and there's been a firmware update too. I think this started after the last update but not sure.
In sounds setting screen it doesn't matter if the sound on unlock is on or off.
Thanks.
Mine only vibrates when turning off/on.
Under system and vibration everything is off except charging sound
I can't change notification sounds. I'll say silent. Go out of the settings screen. Go back in and it's back to the previous notification sound. No matter what I choose.
And on startup a quick on the lock screen notification from system showed that the system was restarted then it disappears immediately.
Yyyeessss!!!!!
You know, this thing had and does make some odd and off the cuff sounds. I'd imagine it's the system sounds(I haven't tried it yet). But I agree, it's completely annoying.. Especially when you set the phone to restart in the middle of the night...
I wish someone could give some input on this.. Great question!

I figured this out.
Go to settings. Notifications. Show system. Find the p looking icon for system ui. You can tap to open these options to mess with. The last option is Phone restarted. Tap it. Go to notification style. I chose silent and minimized. Now no more start up notification sound.
