I have my Google contacts linked with my Facebook contacts, so their Facebook profile pictures are also their contact pictures. I just started using Verizon Message+ for texting due to it having Wi-Fi texting, but it only shows contact pictures if I have a picture set on the Google contact and not just via the linked Facebook contact. Is there way for it show the contact pictures that are coming from the linked Facebook contacts?

I have a little annoying problem with my contacts. SMS from Google Calendar and from my mobile provider show up as if they where sent from a Facebook account. The facebook contact has bogus phone numbers ("ob" for landline, "07 no idea" for mobile). Both the messages from Google and my mobile provider don't have real sender numbers ("Google" and "Orange CH", respectively), so I guess the contact app thinks that "ob" is close enough to "Google" and "Orange CH".
I feel kind of stupid to go ask my facebook contact to remove his bogus phone numbers simply because my phone has a bug. Are there any other options? I haven't linked that facebook contact to any other contact, I wouldn't bother if that single contact wouldn't get synced to my phone, but I haven't found such a setting.
Same problem here.That particular contact exist only as FB contact.I would like to remove all FB contacts from my phone which is not linked with phone/Google contacts,but if I remove FB sync,all other contacts lose their pic from FB.
Hope HTC or Google will found a solution soon.

For some reason today, I've been unable to see the facebook pictures in my sms, only some appear. In contacts, I am able to see them just fine though. Anyone?
Try to remove and add your FB for Sense account. Then do a complete FB sync, it should work.
I've got a missing facebook contact in my Android contacts, meaning I can't link the facebook contact to the google contact. The missing contact still appears in any other way of accessing my facebook account (web, Andoid app, etc) but just isn't there in my phone contacts. Anyone got any ideas?

I have a Arc LT15A on Rogers. None of my contacts are on the phone as this was sent to me as a replacement for a defective device. So, I'm using the contacts from facebook, twitter & my google account. I've joined the ones that need to be joined, but am confused as to why the contacts have no pictures associated with them. The profile pic form facebook used to show up on my other device. The twitter profile pic shows up for those contacts. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Do I need to have the contacts actually stored on the phone, or do I need to link pictures with each contact separately?
install facebook app and SYNC with existing contact.

Having a similar problem after receiving a replacement handset yesterday - but only with a few contacts. names match up but for some reason it doesn't want to sync a few of them.
I just went through the whole mess of linking my google and facebook contacts. I'd like to use Facebook as their default contact picture, but the Galaxy always chooses the Google Contact picture as default. Is there a way to select either Google or Facebook picture for a particular contact?
Right now, the only way to to get their FB pic to show is by deleting the Google picture... but doing this 1 contact at a time gets a bit annoying.
Any tips?
