This is a alpha build of OSE.
Many features haven't been implemented as of yet but as far as I know everything important works. Data, telephone, SMS etc..
Known Issues--- Time zone auto set to GSM(Set to manual).
Not responsible for bricked devices, sdcards or any damage that possibly could occur to your device.
Flashing Instructions---
Perform a factory reset using the latest version of TWRP
---Install OSE ROM---
---Install latest 5.0.x gapps---
Initial boot takes some time so be patient.
More will be added soon including sources. Just wanted to go ahead and share this with you guys. Enjoy!

Didnt have that issue. Make sure you have the tmo variant and you follow the flash instructions to the T.

Err can i flash this on intl i9500 (also has Exynos 5410).

Our i9500 is not LTE. It is a 3G phone. @sktjdgns1189, please check and update the same in OP so that people are not confused..

This ROM is for SHV-E300SKL, Korean Galaxy S4 LTE.
They has same AP [5410], but some hadware is different.
So, I noticed title and body.

For i9500, you need aosp boot.img and probably edit build.prop and add RIL files

Can you work on this project to make a compatible 5.1.1 based rom for our i9500? Heard 5.1.1 lollipop improves performance and killed the nasty memory leak bug on tw based roms for other Samsung phones.

I wish this project will come to 7420 powered Device.

If you have Korean Galaxy S4 Exynos from SK Telecom, you'll be fine. You'll find so few posts because this forum is especially for International variant.

I just install clean RR. Everything is great, just camera apk is black? It's that common issue here?

I have a problem of TWRP , does anyone help? I have tried to install TWRP via Odin and Heimdall and seems it is installed successfully. When I tried to access TWRP recovery mode , I cannot access it and there is a yellow message "set warranty bit: recovery". I have tried to Google for a whole day and still cannot find the solution. Really wanna flash the ROM so badly but stuck in TWRP. :crying:

Installation:
If you are on stock OS, you need a custom recovery first. You can get the recommended TWRP recovery in the link below.
If you are coming from stock or other ROMs, you need to make a factory reset.

WFD aka Miracast aka *cast (requires platform changes from caf which aren't available yet)
No sane GApps yet (most packages are pretty broken)
VoLTE can be broken for countries other than India

Stock Clock app has broken alarm (Use Google Clock or any other for now)
Stock messaging app doesn't have notifications (Use Google Messaging or QKSMS)

Tried to install, coming from latest pixel experience, using recommended TWRP wiping everything except vendor and media, but getting just the Android logo and reboot into TWRP. Any help much appreciated.

as usual you guys probably don't follow the simple instructions. the rom is working. edit i don't use gapps.

lol i can't flash another rom, i've test pixel experience, i've test with miflash i can't do anything. When i install a rom with twrp he boot on the logo MIUI but after it crash and return on twrp

Very nice ROM, but I cannot get on screen gestures to work. Can anyone else confirm?
And there are no APN settings, have to input manually.

Yes for APN one time you have to set it up. It still be fixed in the future. On screen nav gestures worked fine i was on this ROM and i didn't see any issues so far
