I'm working on a new ROM and I just wanted to know where does Android store sensitive information? Like when you login to Google where is that information stored? Logging into other applications such as Instagram where does it store that? I'm using my personal phone for testing and stuff and I just want to make sure I remove my own personal information as I have to use the adb pull feature for some parts of the ROM because I have to set up applications then pull them for it to work on boot when installing the ROM. If someone could give me a hand I'd greatly appreciate it.
You can either reply to this thread or if you could assist me I'd greatly appreciate if you could add me on Hangouts incase I have an additional question, whoever can help me with this information I will put you in the credits when the ROM is released. Thank you!

Hi all!
i have updated my htc touch rom to version 2.22...and i wish i can undo this step!
Q:can i rollback my firmware to version 1.11.... cause i missed some good features not available in this new upgrade.the hard reset didn't work i already tried it.
the black bar that spells words while typing is completely annoying...i'm not being able to disable it forever and i'm hating the device because of it. Plz help!
another missing feature in this upgrade, while i used to start typing the sms recipient name in the To: field in SMS\MMS , an automatic list of matching contacts used to appear and i select the desired name directly... I lost this feature too.
Your help is much appreciated. Plz keep me posted before i destroy my htc
Thanks

Okay so as the slide community knows, I am creating a Rom (fantasy 3G). So, I am editing the build prop file and wondering what I need to put in order to unlock all market apps. I know that many people would love to have ALL apps show up on the market, and I want to make that possible from the get go, so does anyone know how to do this. Thanks in advance for your posts!
P.S. I dnt know if its just my phone or not, but i downloaded (and am using) netflix AND it works, check the market to see if you can download it!
Looking for some people that want to help me test the new option in my wish list app.
You will need to have:
- An Android phone with Android 2.2 or higher.
- External storage available on the device like a SD card.
- Camera option on the device.
- Not have Wish l!st installed on the device from Google Play.
- Know how to install an APK from outside the Play store.
If you have the time to test today please send me your email address in a private message and I will send the APK.
Thanks!

Thanks to everyone that has offered to help test the new update.
At the moment I have enough testers. So there is no need for new testers at the moment.

Hello,
I'm actuallty working on Ford's SYNC3 system which is based on QNX 6.50. I have full access to it and would like to modify the navigation system. Actually, the system uses either Telenav (for EU and NA maps) or NNG (for rest of the world). None of those two systems is really satisfying as they are closed source and don't allow much modifications.
Therefore, I would like to build (compile) or port another system; preferably open source.
First I thought of osmand which is open source but I was told that QNX doesn't have everything needed to port it. Now I wonder if Navit : www navit-project org could be compiled for QNX.
So I would appreciate if anybody could help me / give me some info on it.
Regarding closed source apps, I saw that some car brands using QNX run Tomtom. But I can't find anything regarding an SDK for this.
Thanks in advance for all your help / hints.
Maybe it is not appropriate to ask here.. But it seems you have already give up your another thread.
I'm also on to that SYNC3 system, but I only got a update image that I dont know how to extract. Can you tell me how you extract that image?
It seems like QNX6 filesystem but I failed to mount it. I downloaded the files you posted in your another thread, and carved binaries from my own image, the files seems to fit.
Sorry I can't help you about your problem, and sorry for the interrupt, but I really need some help and find nowhere to ask. Thanks.

Hi stang18, I wish I had knowledge on the topic and could help you, but I can't.
I'm very interested if you could elaborate on how you gained full access to the SYNC 3 system.
I would much appreciate it and I believe the people from this thread would also be interested:

Thank you so much and I hope someone will be able to help you too.
Well I just noticed that the thread I added above was yours to begin with and seems you've managed to get all the access you wanted.
I'd be very happy if you could share the procedure of how you managed do it.
Thanks!
