Hello guys, i have an Ascend P6-U06 with EMUI 3.0, and i had quite some bugs with the stock apps from Huawei. The most irritating one is from the gallery app, the commands are hidden behind the navigation bar. I also attached 3 photos to show you what i mean.
If anyone has any idea how to fix this minor bug, i would be very glad Thank you!

I don't have that bug in b709. Enable this button to hide navigation bar. That should help.

Maybe try a reset? Make backup first.

I'm also having the same problem. I don't have the Edit button, Anyone have an idea why? I'm completely stumped.
device details below
GT-N7105
Android version
4.1.1
Baseband Version
N7105DXALIB
Kernel version
3.0.31-240505
Build Number
JRO03C.N7105XXALIJ
Could it be because you don't have enough apps installed to require the edit page?
That's what it should look like, edit button in the bottom left. I'm guessing you don't have that?

Thanks for the replies folks. Yes I don't have that portion in the bar where it indicates an Edit button
I am almost certain its because you don't have the need for it.
The edit screen won't show unless there are apps to be listed on it.
There are only 12 apps that samsung allow for multi-screen mode on stock roms.
Try to install something like the official twitter app, or chrome browser, or unfreeze any apps you have frozen (if you froze any).
It should then show.
I agree, the edit button has very little functionality. All it allows you to do is add or remove apps from the list. Can you reorder them by holding then dragging?

Thanks for the info. I'll try that out. I have a total of 13 apps on the multi task bar though. still no edit button. I guess if I find more apps that iss applicable. I'll post back my findings. Many thanks!
re
i can confirm that with 13 apps it works , but as a previous poster has said it seems to only offer you the choice to access the overflow of apps.
cheers pj
Don't want to hijack this thread but it's slightly related to what i need,
Does anyone know how to completely remove the Multitasking bar, not just to hide it or move it to the right,left,up or down, but completely remove it so that it's not showing anywhere on the screen ?
EDIT:
Never mind, found it, by holding the back button.
Didn't search well enough, sorry for wasting space here.
Just received an update on my phone today the edit button appeared. now i can properly hide the apps that i don't want on the multitask bar.
Is it possible to move the bar to right or bottom of screen?

I like the Huawei keyboard except that t doesn't let you put spaces into Chrome's address bar. Otherwise it's great.

Space button is hidden in the sub menu. Huawei should change this in the next update as its quite annoying.
Have you guys tried SwipeBack Xposed for our device?? It 's beautiful, you can use all the app so immersive and enjoy our fabulous qHD display simply swipe and go back ..... only problem is that for some reason going into the gallery and selecting video icon does not appear to transmit video dlna and therefore can not be given other options ..... and the developer of the module is from February 2014 does not update more 'grrr ....
You can set any app as immersive on the g3 as stock behaviour anyway, it's in the settings.

Hey folks,
does anyone know how to add a "close all recent apps" button in the recent app view ?
I believe someone made a flashable zip for the Nexus 5, but could not find it for the 5X (since it's pretty new I guess but maybe someone have an idea ?)
Many thanks

If you're rooted, check out "recently" in the Play Store.

Yes it will remove all your data. Backup first and then go for factory reset.
It is under settings, advance setting, backup and reset.
Or for a try check setting-app-3 dots, click on reset app preference and see if it makes any difference.

Excellent news brother. Hope others find it useful as well if they face any issue. Just mark the thread as SOLVED by adding [SOLVED] in the title.
Another solution: download APK, unzip, modify assets\themes\themelist.json, install modified version.
For example, latest v7.2.3.24 release "hides" Huawei theme 49452771-f69e-465e-a4eb-70edd493e9bc (interesting json snippet):
{
"id": "49452771-f69e-465e-a4eb-70edd493e9bc",
"name": "Huawei",
"formatVersion": 5,
"minorVersion": 10,
"hidden": true
},
