Got both. In my book, Poetic is the winner.
1. Better protection all around, especially around the power and volume buttons. As a plus, the cover between the power and volume buttons also helps my finger feels and distinguishes the buttons - just like the tiny raises on the 'F' and 'J' of the keyboard help us touch typists. With the Moko, I sometimes press the wrong button.
Top and bottom coverage is slightly better on the Poetic.
2. Better magnetic closure. On the Poetic, the metal is embedded in the flap cover, as opposed to the exposed chrome on the Moko which might actually scratch unprotected screen (unlikely but possible). The Poetic also has more magnet, so it should hold the flap cover better though I haven't run into any situation where the Moko flap cover opened unintentionally.
3. Better tri-fold stand. The embedded metal along the edge of the Poetic cover holds it in place when folded the natural way (toward the outside). With the Moko, I have to fold the flap the other way (unintuitively toward the inside) so that the magnet would keep the cover from unfolding and sliding.
4. The Nexus 'clicks' into place better with the Poetic than with Moko.
Cons:
1. The Poetic logo is shiny and looks cheesy on the light blue case. I wished it was more low key and sophisticated looking, or put it in the back instead of the front. On the other hand, the chrome metal on the Moko is cheesy too. It's subjective - and some might actually love it.
2. Moko has more color options.

1. Build quality is comparable. I can't see any discernible differences, but only time will tell how well they hold up.

I didn't trust a $10 case coming directly from China (Poetic), but I was VERY impressed with how solid and cleanly the case wrapped around my Nexus. Absolutely amazing case for the price.
Absolutely agree with you on the cheesy Poetic logo on the front... I've realized over time that I don't even really notice it anymore, and even if I did, it's a small sacrifice to make for such a rock solid case. I'm definitely a fan of Poetic now.

I just got this case in today and so far I really like it. It is a slim case with a clear back, be sure to remove the plastic covers on both the back and front of the clear back. The fitment is great, there is cut outs for the usb, speaker/mic and headphone jack. The cut outs alignment is perfect. The back is crystal clear and I can see my white Nexus really well. This case also comes with a hard plastic template that you can use to make cut outs and place inside the case to give you a custom look. I don't think I will be making my own cut outs just now because I'm enjoying the white Nexus logo. The power and volume buttons are flush with the case and depress nicely. The buttons are not ultra sensitive like some cases, they have a nice pressure to them.

Yes there is a small gap around the back side of the audio jack. There is a even smaller gap on the backside of the USB port. I wonder how this will effect the case over time?

Got one and I'm not a fan so far. The part where the side of the case meets the raised lip to protect the screen (lay on face design) has a REALLY sharp edge to it all around the perimeter. I don't know if it is just leftover material from the mold (flash) or what. Have you noticed the same on your case?
I know a few folks on Amazon have mentioned it in the reviews. Do you have the same issue?
I emailed Ringke yesterday but I haven't heard back. I really like the case except that it is just so uncomfortable to hold with that sharp edge as it is now.

I don't have the same issue on mine. It has a nice beveled edge on it, not sharp at all.
This case has been working out nice for me. I'm not going to use my Spigen Slim Armor any more, it's just too bulky for my taste.
looks like it's a tight fit for big 3.5mm jacks or ones with L plugs?

Yuu are correct. I tested the case with a pair of Sony MDRV6 and they headphone plug would not fit unless I massed it in.

My Ringke Fusion case has come in, so I've taken the liberty to create a rough template for anyone who wants to open a photo editor program like photoship or paint.net to fit their image before cutting it out. This might be a fraction of a milimeter off but I placed the clear cut out on my monitor and cropped it as tight as I could from what I saw on screen.
** Note my image is square, use it to create the general shape of your image and the included template to trace inside of it before cutting it out
Grab the png picture below -- is flat w/ colors but can create layers by color select in any respectable photo editor. I'm uncertain of the placement of the nexus logo but tried to center it on the back and crop a photo i had to fit (?)

Just got received it in the mail today and it is a really nice case. It's thinner than I expected, as the one for the N4 felt a lot thicker. The buttons work flawlessly and the case fits very firmly to the device. I plan to play around with the template for custom covers later today. I prefer this case over the Spigen case because of the buttons mimic the actual phone versus the block buttons. The Ringke Fusion case is a definite buy...
Got the Ringke Fusion since yesterday.
I can compare the Spigen Ultra hybrid und the Fusion, as I have them both.
Pros:
Fits good, the cut outs are perfect. It's slimmer than the Ultra.
The buttons can be used like on the naked N5, same feedback, not that sharp edges though (better imo).
The material of the Fusion feels a bit smoother than that of the Ultra, the front edges are a little bit sharper.
The clear back seems to be a bit harder and more scratch resistant (until now).
Cons:
The Fusion fixes not the rattling power button.
The quality seems not that good, there are some spots, which seem to be bad glued (or whatever treated) between the bumper and the back.
The N5 feels not that good protected like in the Spigen (which is softer and bulkier).
Conclusion:
I like the Fusion more than the Ultra because of the buttons and its slimness.

AGREED! The Spigen is not as nice in hand, it is a slightly harder composite. I also like the buttons on the Ringke version better. It is hard to find the buttons on the Spigen, since they are flush. I also like the slight back curvature of the Ringke better, whereas the Spigen is flat.
I will however say that if debugging is on, the Ringke activates the power button bug capture feature much more often than the Spigen. In all however, I choose the Ringke over the Spigen.

Thanks for the comparison. Would there by any way you could take similarly positioned photos of each of the cases? Is the black rim around transparent window on the back of the case comparable in size between the two? In other words is the window larger on one or the other?

No, the clear back isn't curved, the black bumper is beveled where it meets the clear back. It's actually a really nice and smooth join if two different materials. Additionally, there are little nubs or feet at the corners, so when you lay it face-up on a surface, the clear back doesn't touch.
Over all, the build quality is very impressive, the cut outs are perfect, and the buttons feel just like a naked phone, except for a gentle rebound, which feels like an improvement.

Wonder how wide the audio jack hole is?
I have audiotechnica m50's and the 3.5mm jack is a wider design one. I have the Spigen Ultra and it's way too small to accommodate the headphone jack.

I received an amCase Hybrid Bumper Case and overall it’s pretty good.
The case is a TPU type case with black sides and a matte clear back. The quality of the material used is pretty standard and is on par with cruzrlight that I think many of you will be familiar with. The fit of the case is perfect with everything lining up properly and is very snug, but not too tight where it’s difficult to take on or off. I am using a spigen screen protector with the case and it’s not interfering with it by pulling up the corners or anything like that.
I actually like this case better than the Ringke Fusion one that I got. The amCase nailed the seams on the back of the device where the matte clear plastic and the black plastic meet. They look like one piece of plastic unlike the Ringke where you can see clear glue like seams which detracts from the aesthetic significantly. The case works no problem with the nexus 4 wireless orb charger as well.
The one complaint I have about the case is the power button movement. It is pretty tight and doesn’t give that satisfying clicky press. It’s not as bad as I’ve seen on some cases, but it’s nothing like the wonderful movement on the official nexus 4 bumper.
Overall, and for the money, I would say this is a solid case and I would definitely recommend purchasing it if you’re in the market for a TPU case. The price point is right and the materials and fit are right on. I'd give the case 4.5 out of 5.

I also have the amCase Hybrid Bumper Case for the Nexus 5. Here are my thoughts:
+case contours to curves of Nexus 5, unlike boxy design of Spigen Ultra Hybrid case
+ports are snug and do not seem to let in dust like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case, which has overly-large port openings
+Volume Low button has clicky feedback. (Power button and Volume Up button do not have clicky feedback on my case)
+ Flash module cutout is large, i.e. good. (Other cases with tiny, circular flash module cutouts produce distorted photos when flashed is used because the flash bounces off the sides of the tiny cutout and reflects back into the camera lens.)
+- especially snug fit
+- frosted semi-transparent back panel is...different
+- volume and power buttons are covered (they are not cutouts)
-slippery, not grippy

Prologue:
Going to have a good ol' fashion case off here for the Nexus 5. At first I was excited, thinking that I would actually take measurements and pictures, but then I remembered that I'm too lazy for that kind of stuff. Therefore, this will only be a personal comparison with color-codie goodness. A little warning that already I'm biased towards Acase because I've used a superleggera pro for my iPhone 4s (never going back to Apple) and after two years of dropping, that phone looks like its brand new (with loads of finger prints :good: ). Besides the protection, I also just love the smooth feel of matte...
Summary:
Both cases have their advantages, but personally I went with Acase.
Main Points:
If you didn't know, both of these cases are supposedly dual-layered cases. This means that these cases have two pieces to their design. Whether that actually adds to the protection and shock absorption or not, I have no idea. What I do know is that psychologically, I feel like my phone has better protection.
Superleggera Pro:
Silicone Case with a Poly-carbonate shell
Nice smooth feel but super slippery.
Example: Case face down, back up. Try to slide your hand against the back. Barely any friction or resistance when sliding my hand across.
Good enough lift in the back to protect the camera but no extra corner stands like the Slim Armor for airflow. Great lift in the front as well.
[*]Clicky feedback when pressing volume and power buttons. You can press the power button without accidently pressing the volume buttons too.

A little Acase branding on the bottom of the back of the case.
Slim Armor:
Hard TPU with a Poly-carbonate Shell
Nice smooth feel, making it a little slippery but not too slippery.
Example: Case face down, back up. Try to slide your hand against the back. I felt resistance from my hand sticking to the case.
[*]Nice lift in the back for airflow and nice lift in the front to protect the screen.
[*]Buttons lose their clicky feedback. Big problem for me. Also had some occasional issues with locking the screen since the amount of force needed to press the power button makes you also press the volume buttons if you have your finger there.
Spigen branding on the lower part of the back of the case and on the right side. Looks cooler than the Acase branding but who cares really.
Review:
To me. dual-layer means two different layers put together to make one great case. With the Slim Armor, I was expecting silicone plus the poly-carbonate like the Acase I was already used to. As far as silicon vs hard tpu for the base part of the case, I haven't read or seen anything that sets a clear winner.
With the positioning of the second layer of poly-carbonate Acase wins here. I mean when I drop my phone it hits the corners or at least near the corners more often than it lands perfectly on its side. With the Slim Armor, the hard shell poly-carbonate pretty much just covers the side and the corners are covered only by the hard tpu. Spigen claims that there are "air-pockets" in those corners in their advertising but I don't know how effective these "air-pockets" are. Anyway, If I wanted hard tpu to protect my corners, I'd just get a hard tpu case. The Acase has all around dual-layering except for the buttons and cut-outs like the headphone slot. With the Acase I feel I'm getting the true dual-layered protection I'm looking for where both the hard shell and the silicone cover the corners for that added and padded protection.
Button feedback is another pet-peeve/preference for me. Acase, since its silicone, has perfect feedback. Easy to press down and you feel and hear that click. Spigen, no feedback...at all. Thanks to hard tpu, its hard to press your buttons down. Now I'm not saying that its impossible to press the button down but the resistance of hard tpu not only kills your clicky feedback but it also can make you squeeze your phone hard enough to press the volume at the same time as the power button.
Both cases pick up on finger prints pretty easily. The Acase can also pick up on dust, lint, etc with its silicone. Personally, I can put up with this for a better feeling case. After a little back and forth case swapping, I realized that the Acase has more lift than the Slim armor in the front Due to the thickness of the silicone at that point. The case also wraps around the edges more (something I liked) without making my screen protector peel up at the edges.
Both cases have plenty of space for the micro-usb and speaker cut-outs. However, with most cases there are issues with the headphone port. My tiny apple headphone jacks fit perfectly for both cases, however my bulky (1 cm diameter) speaker jack only fit with the Acase. Since the Acase uses stretchy silicone, I could push the headphone in at the expense of stretching the silicone a little. With the Slim Armor, there was no way to get it in without taking off the case at the top. (I will note that its easier to take the top part of the Slim Armor off than it is to take the Superleggera Pro)
Width and length are the same for both cases, however the Acase is slightly thicker. For me, this means more protection at the cost of a barely noticeable additional thickness. Both cases feel great in the hand, I just felt like the Superleggera Pro had more pro's and a better feel than the Slim Armor.
Edit:
Just got a chance to test the Acase with a wireless charger (CHOETECH Stadium) and it works! The charger isn't that special, so I'm going to assume that most chargers should work with the Acase. I still recommend you conduct your own research on wireless chargers and compare it to the CHOETECH so you can confirm that whatever you buy will work as well. I'm not supporting CHOETECH in any way, just stating the charger I used to test the ability to wirelessly charge through the Acase.

The had no idea about the removal technique, thanks. Not sure if I want to do it or not though. The branding is like a classy tramp stamp for my phone, but having it smooth and clean might be pretty nice too.

Clicky Feedback on spigen
I've got 2 different revisions of the spigen slim armor. as you can see the only difference is the way the pads for the keys are attached. The one with only one connection on the top side have a very big ce "clicky" feedback, the other one is very difficult to press. So you could try to cut the bottom connection and see if it gets better.
I also got the Acase case. One thing that bothers me is that the inner silicon layer is too soft, I wish it was tpu instead. The bottom lift of the phone is not reinforced high enough by the hard plastic shell, making the inner layer too loose.
I'd love to see an owner's picture of the Acase. ☺

Just got my Acase today and it is much thicker than I imagined it would be... But the bulkiness is kind of nice and the phone still feels great in hand so far. I ordered mine from CTCstore on Amazon and it was listed as Slim Superleggera PRO but my packaging only says Superleggera PRO... I emailed the vendor for clarification but am wondering if the op is referencing the slim version or regular, or if they are actually the sane thing.

To me I thought that the spigen slim armor felt like a dollar store product. Its fits OK but is just hard and cheap feeling. The volume buttons were sorta hard to push. I absolutely love my acase.

Is the power button the same design (only connected on one side) on the new revision? Spigen allegedly sent me the revised TPU but my buttons look the same as the original design. I actually cannot tell the difference between my original one and the new one. I think Spigen might have messed up and sent me the original revision as a replacement.
To keep this on topic, I also have both cases as well. I actually liked the functionality of the Superleggera best (clicky buttons, corner coverage, etc) but to me the look and quality of materials of the spigen were significantly better than the superleggera. See I would have said the superleggera was the generic cheepo case and the spigen was the high end case. Just shows how widely peoples opinions can vary on two identical items.

Let me first off say that this case is well worth the money. It provides minimal and stylish protection and does not get in your way, but is there when you need it.
This case was pretty easy to install, but the corners were kind of hard to press in. once i got it in, there were no more downsides to this case. It fit very snugly on the Moto X and did not wear off. The cutouts were very precise and I did not have any problems accessing the headphone jack, Microphones, charging port, power buttons, and volume buttons. The dimple is covered, but that did not bother me at all. The case has a matte, meaning that it does not make the phone feel cheap. The sides, however are glossy and attract some fingerprints, but by NO means are a fingerprint magnet. The raised edges of the case (lay on the table design) protect the screen when you are putting your phone on the table face down, I do that a lot and was always afraid it would scratch my screen before using this case. You can still see the accents on the phone and this makes every Moto X unique, so I am glad Cruzerlite paid attention to detail and made it like that. I love the accents on my custom Moto X and would never want to cover them up. The style and looks are AMAZING and I cannot stress this enough. both the Bugdroid circuit case and the experience cases provide excellent style and is one of the reasons I like this case so much. The case does not add lots of bulk to the phone and is very minimal.
Summary:
Minimal, stylish protection. There when you need it, not when you don't. Best bang for your buck.

I like it as well and my co-workers all picked it over the BearMotion sandstone case I also have. I think this one will be a good all around case for most of the year, but the sandstone type might still be better in winter when my hands get all dried out.
