Just got the ZF2 64GB/4GB a couple days ago and it is working awesome. The T-mobile sim was plug and play, I instantly connected to 4GB and SMS/MMS and voice are all working. Only question I have is the model of the phone is "ASUS_z00AD" which seems to be different then all the ones I have seen on here. This is the US variant of the phone from asus. Is this version the same as all the other ones in terms of software for rooting?

Yes, I have the same model as your and I used one click root in here.
Have any of you got the Rhasody app working? Mine will load up but once signed in, it just crashes. With and without root. Been email tech support and sending error reports, etc. No luck. Both of my Zenfones2's are Taiwanese WW versions. Thanks.

If you don't already know, the unlocked Bell HD7's 3G bands are the needed bands required for AT&T (850,1900). I received my unlocked Bell HD7 from Negri Electronics today and I was super excited to get it going on AT&T here in The States but ran into a very weird problem...
Basically, I can't connect to 3G/HSDPA/EDGE internet. Now, the weird thing is that it SHOWS I'm using AT&T and that indeed I am on HSDPA (see pics below). Calling and messaging work fine BTW. If I want to do anything requiring data, the 3G/HSDPA/EDGE connection won't work and I'm forced to use wifi.
I'm tired of hard-reseting and flipping switches on and off... I just hard-reset the bastard one last time and now I wait for your advise. What do I do? Thanks in advance

first, very jealous of you my friend. my guess is you would have to set up at&t apn. i don't know at&t apn setting so you would have to google that. hope you got it to work.

I really need your help and your thinking about this case, thing is I wanted to buy an affordable G4 (H815) for my wife this christmas, so i went to aliexpress and ordered a new phone (not refurbished)
I was all happy with my purchase and proceeded to root it
first problem:
when I wanted to unlock with official LG solution, it told me that I have a mismatch between the IMEI number and the Device ID number!
I triple checked the numbers, what would it mean?
second problem:
then after a couples of retries , I wanted to upgrade to marshmallow, it went alright until at reboot I had this message:
"current version is not avaiable for user. Can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc[FFFFFF],subset[11]"
a quick google session indicates that the motherboard isn't from the international version, am I right?
what other problems will the phone have? can i still use it or is it just an anoying message?
I read that i could change the region, but i have to have the phone rooted for that, but can't unlock the phone...
last problem, when i opened the phone i saw a lstrange little sticker wrote in chinese(see attach)
what is it doing there if it's a brand new phone?
I really need your advice, do i keep it? will it work well?
can i fix it?

Have any of you suffered from this?
I got my TMO S6 edge unlocked bought it from a 3rd party about 2 years ago, been working with different companies here in Mexico without any problems, never had any problems with not accepting different cards.
Last night, phone still Ok, but on this morning i wake up and phone has shut-off, and after power on it, now it not longer unlocked, its not accepting any of my sim card from different companies across Mexico, it says "Network locked SIM card inserted"
And getting this screen everytime i reboot

I try with device unlock and it fails with this
I dont have any TMO card
I checked my IMEI on TMO database, it shows status OK
checked also on Mexican organism for it, and it also shows status OK
So i came to think, something like "unlock is gone"
Has any of you have come across something like this?
Really need to be able to recover my phone line x.x

Within your settings do you have an option for "network unlock"? Weird that a U1 has this. Nothing occurs when I press it.

I don't have my N975U1 handy but probably has to do with the hidden phone settings. The N975U and U1 are almost carbon copies...
I just checked on my unit (U1) model and I do not have the network unlock.

Yeah I found it odd that the one samsung usa sold me which is truly unlocked and a U1 model having this option.
this is a tad odd indeed. I also got mine directly from the US Samsung site. FYI, I a running latest Android 12 and I recently factory reset my device. So I am not sure if there is any difference if I were running older/original firmware that came with the phone.
If you are not getting a lot of bloatware installed when you put the carrier SIM in it, then it is probably truly unlcoked. Since if you get carrier branded device like TMo and put in TMo sim, it will install quite a few apps that are not just tmo's app. For the unlocked phone, it only install like couple of tmo apps.
I have a Note 10+ 5g that the screen cracked. Repair for this costs more than I could buy a used one on eBay for, so I went the eBay route. The eBay phone was a T-Mobile phone but I have Mint. After calling T-Mobile and giving them the IMEI, they told me the phone isn't network locked but when I set the Access Point Name for Mint network and inserted my SIM, it will not work meaning it isn't connecting to Mint's mobile network. Upon calling Mint, they told me it is a device problem. I tried my SIM and my wife's SIM in the eBay phone and neither work although they work fine in our original phones. Is this fixable or did I waste my money on eBay?
Try clearing data in sim toolkit app.
Network reset.
If the sim card is configured correctly it should fire right up.
Return it for a refund if you can't get it working.
I'm not familiar with this app. Can you find it on the play store?
